This lamp is awesome, its a tole metal and its got lots of porcelain roses in its center and coming out from wires, one flower has a large knick to petal the others might have minor flecks but look to be ok. Its got this great mint green color and a crystal piece at the center. Its got pull downs on its sockets, so old and awesome. It probably should be rewired but it does work, but I recommend all old wiring should be updated. Comes with 2 cream shades. The fixture retains the original metal"Made in Italy" tag on the upper section of the frame. This was(is) originally a hanging lamp but the fixture could very easily be converted to a chandelier. There is an on/off switch located on the bottom of the fixture. The lamp is in very good condition with very little signs of age or use. The glass is good, no chips, cracks, etc. The wiring is vintage but in very good condition. There are several feet of chain and wire included with the lamp. BEAUTIFUL LAMP AND EXTREMELY NICE QUALITY. We are pleased to offer this INCREDIBLE. Mid Century(1960s) lamp. The previous(and original owner) told us that the lamp is by Marbro. Because of the EXCELLENT quality, combined with the Marbo characteristics, we are attributing the lamp to the Marbro company. This MONUMENTAL lamp features a remarkable and rare design. The base is very heavy. Thick plaster and is fashioned after a Renaissance, Italian, possibly French cathedral. The lower base section features 5 sides which are raised on small, bun feet. It has an incised, gold gilt trim surround which replicates rope. Dimensional gilt acanthus leaves highlight each corner. Just above this section are the"stained glass" cathedral windows. Again, their are 5 windows, each with a different set of Renaissance period characters. The windows are decoupaged paper inserts which have been ... morecut to precisely fit into each space. The windows are large and rectangular with arched tops. The windows are separated by very dimensional acanthus scrolls. There is a large acanthus"tassel" and decorative, flat disc spacer between this section and the round glass table section. The lamp body is comprised of another disc spacer, acanthus tassel and fluted vase. A very tall, metal candlestick with abundant wax drips leads to the two sockets with pull chain on/off switches. The chains retain the original cords and tassels which are comprised of fine, golden threads. The original shade is also present. It has an incredible, gold and bronze, laurel leaf trim at the top. An acorn finial, in gilt brass, completes this beautiful lamp. The detailing of this lamp table is astounding. The quality is supreme. The lamp is in VERY GOOD condition with only minor signs of age. There are very minor scuffs to the gilt paint in just a couple of areas. Nothing major or distracting. The decoupage window pictures are not ripped or torn. We are pleased to offer this BEAUTIFUL AND RARE pair of antique Italian Capodimonte or French Rococo lamps. The pair date to the very early 20th century. They feature toleware bases which are adorned with 4 toleware cameo medallions. The lamp bodies are exceptionally lovely. The lower section feature figural statues of the"Three Graces" or"Gratiae" These beautiful ladies are bisque porcelain. The trio are holding a large. Gilt and painted porcelain vase. The vase is quite ornate and detailed. The fronts and backs have delicate pink and yellow flowers and gold gilded accents on a black background. Dimensional, white drapery swags are superimposed over the black background. The swags come together in the center of the vase and are accented with a large, dimensional cameo medallion. The sides of vase are white with gold accents ... moreand are reticulated. Each side has two large handles. The handles are also accented with gold. The lamps are in good condition. They do have some minor chips to the porcelain but they do not distract from the beauty of this pair. There has been a repair to one of the hands of the women at the wrist area. Again, it is not distracting. The wiring is old and cloth but the lamps are working. This is a beautiful and old pair of lamps with incredible interest and detail. The pair are not visibly marked. They have felted bottoms. The lamps each retain their original shades. The shades are large. Victorian style. They have scalloped tops and bottoms with long fringe and tassels. They are ivory damask with tone on tone pattern. The shades are lined. The shades are quite lovely but do show some age. They do have small worn area at the frame sections. The inner lining is torn in some areas. They are old and original and I feel that they should be included with the lamps. It is of the finest of quality and features approx 40 or more very fine detailed different flowers attached to metal tole vines that wrap around each candle light arm and curl towards a very full thin curved long leaf tiering center chandelier body- also feature an unusual top of the chandelier( branch vine leaf and flower) canopy. Wonderful bottom domed cap also with a leaf.
