A most exquisite original ... moreantique French clock by the famous maker Japy Freres. It is finely modelled in ormolu(finely gilded bronze) Beautifully finished and in stunning original condition. It is mounted with Sevres style porcelain. Each piece is signed faintly on the reverse by the artist. It is decorated with a pompadour rose pink background, the panel below the dial is delicately painted with a scene of a young couple in a country scene with panels of floral swags to each side. The dial itself is decorated with a cherub with a pair of laurel wreaths, an allegory for success. It is lettered in white cartouches against the pink background with turquoise coloured enamel'jewel' half-hour markers. This is a stunning clock, fine ormolu rather then the usual gilt spelter and very original, unusually the case is stamped with the movement's serial number. The dial is mounted in a gilded drum with a pink porcelain urn above. This is decorated with floral swags and ormolu handles. Laurel swags hang below the dial. The original gesso base is covered with pink velvet. It bears a number that is one less then that of the clock, however it is a perfect fit and therefore we think this is an original numbering error. The rear door is glazed with convex frosted glass. Please note that this style of clock does not have a glazed bezel over the dial) The French movement is by Japy Freres and has the makers mark on the backplate. It is of high quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is original. This is an old antique 1920s era gold gilt brass with white enamel highlights bedroom lamp with lavender. Pink and yellow porcelain china floral roses. The lamp is 11 1/4" by 9" with a 4 1/2" by 4 1/2" base. The gold finish is nice. The lamp has its old original cord and is missing its lamp shade. The pink rose back top petal has a chip. Pair of French porcelain and bronze boudoir lamps with glass candle sleeves
Pair of bronze and porcelain figural and floral boudoir lamps. Figures of boy and girl with marks on back of base as shown in photos. The lamp bases are marked"FRANCE" beneath the wiring ferrule at the back of the base. The candle sleeves are white opaline glass and one has hairline crack but otherwise sound. There is no damage to the porcelain figures. The lamps are 10 inches wide and 9 inches in height.

This is an old antique 1920s to 1930s era pair of glass etched lamps with porcelain china roses. Each lamp is 3 1/2" across base and 17" tall with light bulb inside. They have cream color older shades that are very plain and are 10" by 8" Each lamp has a pink and white china rose. Each lamp is missing a china rose and one lamp has a 1/8" chip on a facet that I did not notice till now. See closeup. They have beautiful roses and a classic leaf style design on the base. Do not ask me why the sockets are different color. The shades will hide that anyway. This is a lovely lamp set and looks great on display. They cam from a fabulous estate that was all done in French. Really at first glance I thought that they were Cherubs- so this lamp is very subtle. The base and fixture are a little tarnished which is typical for antique lamps. The shade is not included. Fabulous French brass boudoir lamp from the early 20th century. Most likely 1920 to 1930's. This lamp is constructed with two brass arms that light up independently from each other so you may light up one or both depending on how much light you prefer. The lamp is decorated with three lovely porcelain flowers and delicate brass leaves running up the center brass pole. There are two arms that have candelabra style fixtures and each comes with its original elegant shade. The lamp measures 18&1/2 inches tall without bulb or shade and 8 inches from arm to arm. The porcelain lamp has two pull chain sockets. The lamp measures 19 inches or 48 cm high. The porcelain is hand painted and shows a romantic couple sitting together in a park like setting. The painting is signed lower right. The back of the vase has a floral bouquet with smaller flower sprigs decorating the rest of the porcelain. The lamp has gilt bronze fittings. This listing is for a Vintage Antique Porcelain Table or BOUDOIR Lamp with two figurines in the French Provincial Style. A simple push button mechanism to turn the lamp on/off. The two figurines have royal purple clothes edged in gold. The lamp stands sturdily on a 4.5" x 2.5" porcelain base. The lamp stands 16" high with the shade. The shade is fluted plastic with a lacy flared top. It attaches to the light bulb with a simple two armed clamp. The shade has a white lace outer covering trimmed in pale blue. And it ISPISP removable with a ribbon for washing. The electric cord is a vintage cloth in excellent condition, the light bulb is not included. The lamp is from the 1930's-1940's. My mother-in-law bought it when she was first married in 1934.

This is a beautiful antique French style boudoir or table lamp with porcelain flowers. It has its own shade- there is a holder for a candle- which is original to the piece. It is not a wax candle that can be lit. Lamp measures 20" tall by 8" wide and extends back 11" There are some minor chips on the flowers and there may be one flower missing on the bottom right. Not sure since the other side does not have one but there is a piece extending that may have had a flower on it. Lamp takes a regular base bulb- Should not use a large watt bulb as metal top gets hot. Vintage French Boudoir or Vanity Lamp Porcelain & Brass: Ballerina, Mint
This lovely French ballerina lamp is in mint condition and would be glorious in a French Country boudoir. It is petite: about 9-5/8" tall to the top of the socket and about 3-1/4" across the base. It is stamped on the underside of the base"Made in France" but gives no additional information. I found this gorgeous piece last weekend at an estate sale among some ordinary kitchen glassware and it is amazing that it is completely undamaged. The yellow rose and the girl are porcelain. The girl is made in exceptional detail with each tiny finger and each of the blooms in her bouquet so perfectly formed. Her tutu. I believe, is made of actual lace then treated with some protective substance. All of the porcelain is white except for the bodice of her dress, her hair and facial features, the bouquet, her slippers and two gold bands ... moreat the bottom of the figure which are hand painted. I am 99% certain that all the metal pieces are brass. The gold leaves and one yellow rose are the final touches needed to make this so typically French. The gold colored cord is cloth. In excellent condition and appears to be original to the lamp. The lamp works but since it is circa 1940s I am not sure it's safe by today's standards. There is no shade. This is a wonderful estate find and is being sold as is. I cannot guarantee that it has not been exposed to odors: smoking. Fragrance, cooking, mustiness, mothballs, other types of storage odors or pets. To avoid the expense of shipping. Pick up may be arranged in SE CT. This is a wonderful Antique Pair of French Provincial White Porcelain Figural Boudoir Lamps. They are 21" tall from the base to the finial. The base is matal and measures 5" x 6.5" oval ans 2.5" high. The white porcelain figurines are 6" x 6.5" They are opposing with a man feeding a sheep and a woman holding a basket of flowers. Unfortunately. One of the woman's hands has broken off on one of the lamps, however it really isn't that noticeable. They have the original wiring and plus, so you may want to rewire them. They do work as is. There are no shades, but they have white and gold 3.5" x 1.5" white and gold plastic finials. Weight is 8 pounds total. Shipping includes insurance.

We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique(late 19th early 20th century) glass lamp. The lamp features a large glass globe as the focal point. The glass is white and is extravagantly painted in French Rococo style and details. There are floral swags and garlands, acanthus scrolls and medallions as well as 3 portrait sections. The portraits are identical and finely executed. They each feature a Fragonard or Boucher style, Girl on a Swing. The detailing is exceptional. The portrait is highlighted with a pale gold or apricot background color. The majority of the painting is in a greenish color. There are also pinks, blues and white mixed in. The glass sits atop a footed metal base. It has a metal, removable cap for easy bulb changes. The metal color has, most definitely, been repainted at some point. It is in a pewter green color with a ... morehammered finish. The lamp is in good condition for its age. The glass is in good condition with no chips, cracks, etc. There is normal wear to the glass around the cap fitter area. The glass is somewhat soiled in areas and can be cleaned. Nice Chicago estate sale find. Up for auction here are a pair(2) Vintage French Style Boudoir Lamps. They are in good working condition. Made of metal with gold gilt. Porcelain flowers, and amber colored bases of possibly either celluloid or bakelite? of which I cannot verify exactly what they are made of for sure) The bases have a marbleized look, but are not marble. They measure aprx. 10" tall(w/o bulbs) Aprx. 6" at the widest, and the bases are 4" across. 1 lamp appears to be very slightly bigger than the other) Each lamp have 2 arms that resemble flower stems with the light fixture at the ends.In the center is a cluster of 3 porcelain flowers(on 1 lamp. 2 of the flowers have part of a small pedal missing. and there is a couple of very slight"flea bites" on the edge of a couple of flowers on both lamps.all as seen ... morein the photos) 1 of the hard cardboard"candle" tubes has a very small outer split in the paper. Beautiful French lamp that has led a hard life and not been treated very well. Being sold, AS IS" for parts, repair, or restoration. It could be a stunning lamp, and would measure approximately 10 inches tall(without harp) Charming hand painted scene of a young woman in a flowing gown gathering pink flowers in her skirt, applied gold detailing, on a lusterware lamp. Artist signed, but I am unsure who was the maker/manufacturer of this lamp. The artist signature appears to be, Heti" but I'm also unsure about this. Metal sections of the lamp are ornate and nicely detailed; bottom of the lamp base is marked, France" ITEM CONDITION DESCRIPTION: this lamp is being sold"AS IS" For parts or restoration. Antique French Gold Gilt Bronze? Tole Boudoir Vanity Lamp 11" Gorgeous Ornate
Gorgeous antique lamp. Gold gilt over bronze( I believe bronze, not 100% sure) two pink flowers with leaf decoration. Lamp is in excellent condition for its age, measuring 11" tall not including a bulb. There is no shade. The switch works fine( I tested with a bulb) and the extra long cord although older, seems to be in great shape but always safest to have antique lamps checked by a lighting expert. Original pink and gold gilt paint is mostly intact, some minor small flakes here and there due to age. Flowers are some type of metal not porcelain which is often seen.

This is an old antique pair of showy two arm candelabra lamps from a fabulous estate. They are 12" tall by 12 1/2" across by 5 1/2" deep. They have two arms and features porcelain roses in pink.
