2 Mid-Century Modern Lamps 1950's Bow Design with large floral blossoms Pottery Off White. Crazing that is usually present in older pottery pieces. Does not break the glaze. The lamps. Bedroom? are 12 1/2" tall, base is 5" across. Shades are Fiberglass/ Parchment and in excellent condition. The laces are not broken. They measure 8" tall and 9" across. One shade has an area of indents. But no break just a stretching I guess I would say. I couldn't get a good picture. Height 16" w shade The lamp to left has a 40 watt bulb. Pair of Mid Century Vintage Retro Atomic Eames Lamps 2 tier fiberglass shades
This awesome pair of vintage mid century lamps are the best aqua/torquoise color with the original fiberglass spun lampshades. The two-tiered shades measure 12" tall X 13" wide at the widest point. The lamps including the shades measure 28" tall. There is part of a sticker on one of the lamps. Which reads hand decorated. The lamps have a gold wheat decor on the front of them. Some of the gold has rubbed off, but only adds to the charm of the lamps. They have their original cords and both function well. I purchased these from a wonderful retro cottage in Harbor Springs located on Lake Michigan. The owners had impeccable taste. The overall condition is great for the age, however, I will mention a couple of issues after completely scrutinizing the lamps. For you bidding consideration is a vintage pair of lamps.This is a pair of matching lamps from the 1950's Eames Era in age. The table lamps are a conical shape and are made of a thick. Satin glass. The glass is also referred to as camphor glass. It has a powdered look to its finish and is a translucent white color that absolutely glows when they are lit up. The lamps are adorned on top with a pair of Eames fiberglass lamp shades and have a ridged design to the bottoms. These lamp shades have a rawhide look to them and are stitched around the edges to help sell the look. The material is no longer being made and these shades have become very collectible over the last so many years. The lamps are in very good shape and are in working order. The cords and plugs are in good shape. The only thing to mention is a small micro chip at the bottom ... moreof one lamp, near the edge. The chip is not visible and is more pronounced when one runs their finger along the edge and feels for it. It doesn't affect the function of the lamps and does not take away from the pairs beauty. See picture, otherwise they are in good condition with a little yellowing from age, no tears or rips. Lamps stand 29 inches tall including shade. Wonderful pair of 1950's lamps. love the spinning electron black cages at the center and the clear glass balls at the bottom resting on the black painted metal bases! Approx. 2 feet high to top of shade. Bases are 5.75" in diameter and the top of the shades is approx. 15.5" across. shades are flawless- All has been cleaned and sterilized so they are ready to use. Vintage Pair Bakelite Candle Stick Lamps w/ Fiberglass Shades Pink Glass Base NR
This set of handsome lamps is in over all great condition. Rewired recently from the post to the plug. Wires in the post were fine. Crimped wire nuts were used and electric taped over. Fiberglass shades are OK but have a small dent(minor) and some stains. I am selling the lamps and throwing the shades in as an extra so no returns due to the shades condition.I'll bet the shades could be washed with Dawn or Oxyclean and come out great. Pink vinyl lace around the top and bottom of the shade. The bakelite sticks are in good condition and tested to be bakelite. They are a nice dark reddish brown and fluted. The brass is tarnished.The pink glass bases measure 3& 1/2 inches square and are in good condition with no chips. The lights work well. BULBS NOT INCLUDED. Made up of wonderful Chartreuse green fiberglass. This great pair of vintage 50's lamp shades have simple silver foil paper bandings at the top and bottom as shown. Measuring just under 9 inches in height and about 5 inches across at the top and 5 and 1/2 inches across at the bottom. Each lamp shade has an attachment ring almost at the top. In good to fair condition. One of the shades has slight denting at the base as shown which may be able to be worked out with the heat from a hair dryer or something, and the other shade has light spotting as photographed and a slight crinkle or two, all in all these are probably a 5 or 6 on a scale of one to ten with ten being absolutely as new perfect. RARE SET of 3 Mid Century Modern lamps with matching fiberglass shades plaster
I have other Mid Century Modern items listed and more on the way. This is a RARE set of 3 matching lamps and shades. You never find matching sets still together especially with original shades. The lamps are nice with normal wear you may find a few super tiny paint chips but no cracks or chunks missing these are nice. The paint has some gold and greenish tints to them it's really cool the way they painted these. The shades are nice but one small one has a couple cracks shown in pics you can't see it from a few feet away but I wanted you to know and if it really bugs you then you can always replace the shades but I wouldn't mess with them. The shorter ones are 14 3/4 to the socket and the tall one is 17 3/4 to socket.

Vtg Eames Mod Brass Light Lamp Green Fiberglass Shades Adjustable Arms, Nice!
This is for a very pretty and heavy brass lamp with adjustable arms and fiberglass lime green shades. I don't know if this is called a swingarm. I believe this is from the 1950's. The shades are in excellent condition and the lamp is very nice too. There is some scuffing around the rim on the bottom of the lamp from being touched to turn the switch on. It is not bad. The lamp itself is still very nice. I don't know if this could be polished or not, I have not cleaned this. This measures 23" to the top of the shade when the arms are straight. The base is about 6 1/4" across and 1 1/8" tall. The arms are 15" long. The shades are 6 1/8" across the opening and 8" long and are very clean inside. I wanted to remove this for shipping but I am afraid to take these off so this will be shipped this way. This ... moreworks perfect and is a 3-way light. This has the non-polarized plug. Pair C. Miller Vintage Lamps With Matching Fiberglass Shades
The two lamps are both marked C. Miller. 1956 on the bottom, back of each lamp. They are in working condition and the cords and switches are good. As you can see in the pictures they are a medium pink, with gold bands and and a few white circles(bubbles like) With the shades on.they measure 20.5 inches high. I would say they are more the size to put on a night stand. The shades are the original fiberglass shades. They are a lighter shade of pink. Each shade is two pieces.you can see it clearly in pic#6. The fiberglass shade is wrapped on the wire with a leather string/strap. The lamps are so retro looking. I can see only two concerns. One.there is a pin size hole in one of the shades.pic#7. You do not see it when the lamp is lit, but thought I should mention it. Secondly.some of the gold on the lamps is worn a bit from age. Secondly, the ... moremetal prongs under the shade that stick out are in good shape.but the original glossiness is gone. I like my antiques as near to original as possible. If it bothered someone.they could touch these up. When lit.these shades just show off a wonderful glow. All in all.they are nice for being almost 60 yrs. old. Good Luck

Up for sale I have a fabulous pair of mid century modern lamps with fiberglass shades! They feature a brass color base with stars punched in them where the 3 way nightlight section shines through the stars! Black and white swirly parts show up in several areas of the lamps. There are also these cool spring looking accent in them. The lamps are in great condition. With some age appropriate wear like the brass areas have spots of oxidation. Vintage Mid-century Modern Retro 1950s lamp Fiberglass shades/ Bamboo/ Rattan This fabulous vintage mid-century lamp is in very good condition for its age. It has some pitting areas in the shades. But when lit has a great look. The lamps all work and light but the electrical components should be checked out due to its age. The lamp measures approx. 34" tall and 34" in width, depending on how far the smaller lamps are extended. There are two bending bamboo pieces that go through the center of the light. There is also a small cup on the base of the lamp. I am not certain, but I believe it may have been a small vase or for plastic flowers. Vintage Fiberglass Shades Lot of 2 2 tier, and standard mid century eames retro
7in x 9inch 2 tier shade Cool nubby texture with gold/bronze accents. The metal is not shiny, and dirty. Shade is secured with the original thread/leather type. There are a few minor dents in the piece. 6.5x8 single tier Metal on the shade is was weathered, some looking stuff on the metal which has also ended up on some of the shade. See pictures. Cool White, black, and gold/bronze painting on the shade. The original cording/leather to attach the shade to the frame is broken on many places. The top is completely missing. Someone has attached the shade to the frame with tiny metal wire. Easy fix, I know they sell this cording/leather stuff at any craft store. Some discoloration on the shade and a few dents. 1950's Lamps Fiberglass Shades Glass Ball
This is a pair of mid century lamps. Lamp shades are 7 1/4" tall and measure 5 1/2" at top x 7 1/2" at the bottom. The binding that holds the fiberglass shades to the medal frame is new material. The shades are clip to the bulb style. Lamps total height is 1' tall. The base is 4" in diameter. Glass ball is 3" diameter. Lamp sockets have been replaced and everything is fully functional. Black and Gold Description& Condition This is a matching pair of 1950's ceramic table lamps with coordinating 2-tier fiberglass shades. They are in very good working condition. There are no chips on the ceramic. The black metal bases show minor wear and some scratches commensurating with age. The lamps are cream colored with black and gold detail. A circumference of brass metal circles with coordinating painted detail sits just above the black metal base. It gives these lamps a fantastic 1950's atomic look. Very unique. It appears one of the lamps has been rewired, but they still both appear to have vintage sockets. Truly unique pair of Mid Century Lamps. The ceramic porcelain bases are beautiful midcentury delight. They are hi-gloss black, gold and white, swirls, with gold base. The shades are in really nice condition, with gold lacing& light patina. There are no rips, or spots, the lacing is intact. The bases are in very nice condition with no cracks. These were purchased from antique store. I just noticed now after using these for years that the top edge of base just under the socket on one lamp is rough to the touch. Not sure if the there are slight skips to the original glaze, surface wear, or flakes to surface of glaze. See 2nd to last photo, with zoom just under socket. This are barely visible you would have to look close, with shade you would not see it. I only mention this because it is Ebay and do not want to surprise anyone. A recent estate find. A pair of Mid Century Modern, Majestic style/ Eames 1950's/ early 1960's table lamps! The lamps measure approx 26 1/2" bottom to highest top shade. 13" wide, lamp shades are 12" top to bottom and 4.5" square, brass arms and really cool bases. Both light up. The base is made of metal with a faux wood finish. The switch is on the center pole which is 14" high and from which 3 metal arms hold the lights and which have curved wooden pieces on the fronts. The shades are made of what appears to be extruded plastic in overplayed ribbon designs; they are held in place by aluminum rings that screw around the outside of the socket. We believe the lamp to be from the 1950's. There is no maker mark. CONDITION: The wooden fronts to the arms have some dried and a little flaky spots. Could be freshened up with some oil finish. 3 Vintage Retro Mid-Century Fiberglass & Whip Stitch Table or Floor Lamp Shades
Welcome. Offered today is a lot of 3 Vintage Table or Floor Lamp shades suitable for Retro or Mid-Century lamps. They feature fiberglass bodies whip stitched to the frames. They will need some TLC before using. The first shade is plain with a gold tone stitch and measures 8" tall x 12" wide at the base and 8" wide at the top. There is an area of red staining on the fiberglass that will need to be cleaned and the whip stitching will need to be replaced. The next two shade are matching with a fiberglass body that features a black and white linear design and a white whip stitch. They measure 7 1/4" tall x 12" wide at the base and 6 1/2" wide at the top. One has a red stain on the fiberglass that will need to be cleaned and the whip stitch replaced. The other has no stain but has some browning to it. It will need ... moreto be cleaned. Also the upper part of the frame is missing and the whip stitch will need to be replaced. I have included a shade with a paper body that is the same size so it could be used to salvage this shade so you can have a matching pair.
