This auction is for nice set of three pyramid-sized Clarke fairy lamp shades with one Clarke base. Included are: one amber diamond point shade. One diamond quilted satin citron shade and one ribbed mustard-colored shade. There is roughness and small chips around the top and bottom openings of all three shades. The quilted citron shade has two notches in the base plus a larger chip on the base and discoloration at the top and bottom edges from heat exposure. The single base is stamped S. Clarke Pyramid Fairy and does not have any chips or cracks. Each shade measures approximately 2 5/8" tall.

Rare C1910 Weidlich Brothers Fairy Perfume Lamp. It is beautifully made with three gowned fairy maidens peering down into the light. The lamp is decorated with trellis-work sides that lead up to floral insets for the fairies' feet to rest. The base of the lamp has three dolphin- shaped feet. The original glass was Steuben. Which has been replaced with a simple cut off piece of clear glass. The metal has been refinished with an unknown silver coating that has some wear and loss. The lamp is marked on the base"Pat. Appl'd For" and"8E" with the Weidlich Brothers Mark. The wiring has been replaced. The lamp has some age. But works fine. Pouch for perfume is not present. For illumination. Up for your consideration is this blue hobnail antique fairy lamp. The shade is dated 1902. Not sure of maker. Maybe this was a commemorative lamp? Don't know? There are no chips cracks or any issues. Looks as if it has never been used. Excellent condition. Lamp measures 4 1/2 inches tall and base is almost 6 inches across. Some tiny minor nicks on inner bottom rim of lamp. Small flake on the underside of the scalloped rim of the base, and a groove that may be a chip or possibly was done during manufacture(see photos. CLARKES FAIRY CRICKLITE LAMP OIL CANDLE BASE CUP & GLASS DOME CUT PRESSED GLASS
Here we have a stamped original Victorian Clarke's Cricklite/Fairy Lamp type night-light holding base cup with its original matching glass dome(peg version for candlesticks etc. The lamps were used with night-light candles(similar to tea-lights of today but usually deeper) and sometimes a very small oil lamp in the place of a candle. The cup is made of clear pressed-glass imitating brilliant-cut crystal. The peg at the base has its often missing wooden'stump-like' mount around it to fit into a candle socket. The base measures 10cm diameter and is in excellent condition. The glass dome measures 8cm diameter at the bottom and 12 cm high approx. and is in very nice condition with a couple of nibbles from the top glass rim and some verdigree under the metal rim but I am sure this could be clean ed off- but does not detract in any ... moreway. There are a couple of bubbles in the glass from the original manufacture- a sign of its age. The gold band running around the bottom circumference is impressed with the Cricklite name. Antique ca 1920 Art Deco Glass Nude Beaded Lamp Nymph Fairy Statue French Czech
A rare and beautiful circa 1920 French or Czechoslovakian glass nude fairy lamp with exceptional crystal glass beaded wing decoration. The lamp retains the original early 20th century fixtures and silk cord. The base is black glass. There is a small tight crack in the bottom of the base(see pics. The base of the frosted glass figure has a 1cm edge chip on the back behind the left foot(see pics. This chip is only seen from the back and is not distracting or unsightly. There appear to be five tiny red beads missing from her belt buckle. I have plugged in the lamp and it does function properly. The new owner may want to have it rewired as it is nearly 100 year old wiring. The bulb is not included in the sale and will be removed before shipping. Antique Vaseline Glass Fairy Lamp with reversed painting on inside
Unfortunately there is a heat crack in the shade. The crack is"inside" so you can't feel it. And with the ribbed glass its hardly noticeable. Really glows under the black light. But i couldn't get real good pictures of that. But it is vaseline glass. There is also a painting on the inside of the shade which is like a reverse painting. Which is when a painted design is painted on the"inside" rather than on the outside and you see it through the glass. I've never really seen a fairy lamp like this. Too bad about the heat crack, which is why i'm going to start it low. The base is free of any chips or cracks, there is a air bubble see photos. The shade has only the one crack, but it is on the inside and it can't be felt. So that's not too bad, its not in anyway going to break. I however do not burn ... moremodern candles in antique or vintage fairy lamps, because that's what happens. This had the crack in it when i acquired it. I have a pretty large collection of fairy lamps, and i will be listing a few especially some of my duplicates.
