Offered for auction is an old. One of a kind(as far as I know) molded glass lamp. I am finding it hard to date this lamp as I cannot find a similar example. It is as I purchased it except for the new wiring. There is a wavy rope pattern. Large dimples, and a fabulous splatter reverse paint. The base metal and harp have a rusted patina. The top plate is brass. I’ve rewired this lamp so the socket would benefit from a little dark stain to age it a bit. CONDITION– It is in great quirky condition. The original cord was cloth. It was very frayed and unsafe to use. There is some wear to the reverse paint. But that does not detract. The base is as I’ve explained. The glass is fine and gorgeous. This lamp is a real gem. Fabulous Antique Handel Lamp Shade Hand Painted Signed Miller Juno Electric Lamp Presented is an antique Handel glass lamp shade and lamp. This lamp shade has been reverse painted with green on the inside and pink chrysanthemums on the outside. The flowers are beautifully done! The inside has a nice frosted pebbled finish. The top rim has a hand painted gilt border. The lamp is a oil lamp that was converted for electricity. The lamp has detailed scrollwork handles and feet. Also included is a hurricane glass. The lamp shade is Handel. Design 2554, and marked as such. The lamp is made by Edward Miller and is a third version Juno lamp, marked as such. These oil lamps were produced between 1895-1898. The hurricane is marked, Empire. This lamp is in excellent condition. The lamp shade has no cracks or damage. There are fleabites around the bottom ... morerim. Not visible when it is on the lamp. Fabulous antique victorian brass double cherub table lamp early 1900s* This is a an awesome antique victorian double cherub table lamp which stands 18 inches high and 8 inches wide at the base. The lamp has been rewired and has a brass pull chain socket with a fancy amber and ruby glass bead pull on the end of the chain. The fancy pierced brass shade ring is adorned with 34 strands of fire polished bohemian crystal lustres. I put new brass bow tie connector pins on the crystals to replace the old wires. I used a short round standard watt light bulb in this lamp which doesn't extend down beyond where the crystals end. These decorator bulbs can be found in any home center or home depot. This lamp was purchased from an antique shop in historic Guttenberg. Beautiful Antique Leaded / Stained Glass Lamp Fabulous Shade & Base Rewired Mint
This is a really Beautiful and very old Lamp. Created sometime around the turn of the century very early 1900's. The Base is either Iron or Bronze& has some weight. It does have a turn switch on the Base You can see in My photos. Has a really nice Finial that screws on to the Top. This Lamp& it's Shade are in Perfect condition. The Shade is different shades of green. Caramel& cream colors and it is a Leaded Glass Shade. The Shade is not like one I have seen before it is rectangular in shape. This is a Original Antique Lamp& very high quality. It does have some numbers on the underside but I am unsure of Who the Maker is. I have to say this is the most unique, beautiful, absolutely magnificent candelabra that I have had the pleasure of viewing. The pink Bristol glass body is all hand painted, all the way around. Stands on a brass base with animal feet. The candelabra is made of brass with the inserts holding the candles also of brass. Fabulous Antique Figural Birds Lamp Base For Slag Leaded Glass Shades Bronze Ish
Up for sale is this fabulous antique lamp base. Featuring a pair of long necked birds(I believe cranes? on either side. Wonderful detail work, the lamp has a bronze finish, I don't think it is solid bronze, but it is quite heavy and does not attract a magnet. I believe the top hardware is replaced, but both pulls are working smoothly. You will need hardware to attach a shade. There are no cracks, or breaks. You can see the mold line running through the feathers toward the bottom, and there is some finish wear, including a spot that looks like a paint drip. This a fabulous and extremely rare form, unfortunately it is not signed to identify a maker, but it was definitely done in the era of Tiffany, Handel, Pittsburgh and the other fine makers of that time. This is a fabulous puffy style dome lamp from the early 1900's. The lamp hangs by four brass hooks with 4 sockets for light bulbs. The shade is white frosted puffy glass with beautiful hand painted floral design done in pinks and greens. Lamp is in good working order and has its original wiring. The rim of the lamp is metal with a wonderful design throughout. Lamp is in very nice condition with a few minor chips on the rim but this is covered by the metal ring. Lamp measures as follows: Opening of the glass at the top measures 15 1/2" The total measurement across the top with the trim on measures 17" It has the approximate height of ten inches.
