We are very pleased to offer this Edward Miller& Co. Meriden, Conn. Oil or Kerosene Banquet Lamp. Font. This Font has never been electrified and has the original Burner and Shade Holder. It is Brass and. Again, has never been electrified. The Burner is marked on the top of the Flame Spreader with the Miller Logo. The oil filler cap is not marked. The Wick lifter does work and moves easily up and down. Please see the photos that show it in the up position and in the down position. The Font top is highly embossed and in one section is marked: THE MILLER LAMP. On the inside column that holds the flame spreader there are the following Patent Dates; PATD. Very large late 1800's Kerosene Oil Parlor Lamp adorned with a beautiful floral pattern. Base and spill ring are brass-plated iron. Pair of Antique Glass Kerosene Oil Lamps Electrified
This is a very handsome pair of oil lamps made of cast glass; they are very old and the tiny mold imperfections show this. The lamps appear to have been originally intended for whale oil from the narrow shape of the font. They are electrified with up to date wiring and hardware. This conversion can be easily reversed by unscrewing the electric socket and replacing it with a burner and wick. The lamps stand 12" tall to the original brass top; 15" to the top of the electric socket and 17 1/2" to the top of the shade. The shades are in fine shape and are decorated with cut out pattern or schnitzen. Your purchase will be carefully packed and will arrive in perfect shape.

This is a very old Kerosene Triple Angle Ceiling Lamp that was reportedly from an old Railroad Depot Station. If you want it lower you will have to add a chain and more than likely lengthen the cord depending on how low you want it. As an added note.I was going to reroute the cord through the center of the fixture and change the color of that cord to black so it would be less noticeable. As explained earlier the lamp was electrified before I bought it. I hung it temporarily from a cord and plugged it in and as you can see in the pictures it lights up. After closer examination of the sockets and wiring I would advise you go through the wiring carefully before installation as a couple of the sockets are loose and it never hurts to be safe. Electrifying these old gas fixtures can be challenging. But at least you have that part done and if needed lamp parts are plentiful at your local hardware store. Also, Light Bulbs are not included. I used clear bulbs for imaging but you may have a different idea. Imperfections. This is a very old fixture. It is not perfect. A pretty piece with a white milk glass body and shade and an ornate metal acorn base. In nice shape with no chipping or cracking. The dimensions are as follows: Total height: 10 3/8" 8" chimney. 5 7/8" shade with 7" fitter. Along with a number of lamps and general vintage giftware I have an enormous quantity of silverplated silverware. GWTW Bradley Hubbard Gone With The Wind Electrified Converted Oil Kerosene Lamp
Up for auction is a beautiful antique Bradley& Hubbard original Gone with the Wind style Victorian hand painted glass lamp with an ornate brass base and burner. It was originally made as an oil/kerosene lamp. But had since been electrified many years ago. It is a very large lamp with a 14" chimney included, and measuring a full 32" in height. The glass has no chips or damage. The lamp is missing one of the four clips on the burner that holds the chimney snugly in place. This small piece can be easily and inexpensively replaced, if you so choose. I hate to part with this lamp, but I don't have the room to keep all my wonderful estate finds! Welcome to this auction for a beautiful used Victorian style table lamp. This lamp comes with a hand blown American made Victorian style embossed floral rose shade that is satin etched rose color glass. The rose shade fitter is 9& 3/4 across and it is 36& 1/2 in diameter. The ring that the shade sits in is 9& 3/4 across. The glass chimney is a lox on that is 12& 3/8 tall. This pink incased glass base has a mold seam down one side. This lamp could be changed to a oil or kerosene lamp because the burner is a screw in burner and the cord is attached to the burner. The base is 10 inches tall and the bottom is 5& 5/8 across. There are three places on the base underneath that raise the base up a little from the table. There are no cracks or chips that I see. The top of the ruffled shade does have some tiny brown spots here and ... morethere and one of the scalloped edge has a point on it. As you will see in the pictures this lamp gives off a beautiful glow when it is on. This does not have a three way switch. Please ask questions before bidding! Antique Brass Footed Electrified Kerosene Lamp HandPainted Globe (B&H?)
For your consideration: an antique Brass converted from oil to electric. Footed kerosene lamp with a beautiful hand painted globe. I believe this lamp to be an antique B&H because it is similar to others listed but there are no markings. The design of the brass font is beyond remarkable.it is 3 footed with curled feet on a 7 1/4 inch domed base with a ball decorative rim. The 3 legs have gorgeous tops of lines. Balls and scrolls attached to the urn shaped font that has a rounded top with the same decorative ball trim. The throat which used to be part of the burner has 3 rising cut out leaves that meet with the 5 inch rim that hold the globe. There is a pull chain to turn on the light. The hand painted globe is milk glass as background with stunning orange. Peach, gray, brown, and beige painting completely around every side. It is about ... more9 inches tall and is about 8 1/2 inches wide. The sciences painted all the way around the globe are gray mountains. Brown trees, and an orange sunset behind a snow covered log cabin. This is an antique piece with some signs of age. There is oil residue on the body can be cleaned away or stay to add to its authenticity. As well. The globe doesn't have a lot of color fade, but there a few dots around the top of missing color.
