Ready-to-hang condition. However, as with any used fixture on ebay, you should have this properly installed by a licensed electrician. I purchased this seven years ago for $300. From the oldhouselights.com site: LIGHT FIXTURE FINISHES- ORIGINAL We preserve the original finish on fixtures whenever possible. This requires 90 +% of it to be in tact. Also we prefer to restore rather than refinish. And do so whenever the opportunity presents itself. On occasions, when we find them in good condition, they often require total or partial rewiring. LIGHT FIXTURE FINISHES- BRASS FIXTURES All antique brass fixtures had a finish on them as originally supplied. Either paint or lacquer. In some cases, a plating was applied to all or parts of the brass before the lacquer was applied, giving the appearance of pewter or silver. Most brass fixtures we find are either long devoid of any finish. Or have multiple coats of wall or gilt paint. In these cases we usually polish the brass and give it a coat of lacquer. We do not over-plate with brass. Believing this gives it to"new" a finish) The lacquer allows the brass to develop the nice even patina over the years that come so highly prized. To leave the brass"raw" invites a splotchy finish. A dark oxidation mark wherever fingers touched the fixture in hanging, dusting, cleaning or changing light bulbs. Occasionally. Steel and iron replaced some of the less conspicuous components of a chandelier, such as a cover pan or a canopy. These were painted gold or brass color to blend in with the brass. Antique Parlor Oil Kerosene Lamp Converted Electric Light Aladdin HobNail Green
The following auction is for a vintage oil/kerosene lamp that was converted to an electrical light with a switch. It is used.And original. I dont know if this is called a Fenton/Aladdin or not. I dont see any markings on the lamp anywhere,so dont think I am trying to trick you. I dont know if thats a style or a name,sorry this is the first one we have sold The light has some issues.But it does power on. The switch is for a 3 stage bright/brighter/brightest/Off Light. THE LIGHTBULB IS NOT INCLUDED. So you may have to turn the switch a few cranks,before it comes on,unless you have that kind of bulb. The glass is in decent shape with no cracks or repairs in it. There is a small chip on the edge of the lampshade. I forgot to take a pic. Its not real big,and I didnt really notice until just now when I was listing it. I felt it being a little rougher ... morethere. Its a darker green color. I think you call it hobnail or hobknob. The glass does have texture to it. The cord is in alright shape. Not all that great. I wasnt scared to plug it in or anything.But its old and wouldnt really be hard to replace,at least for the piece of mind. The light does work,the switch is a little hard to turn,but it does work. I didnt get shocked or anything like that when I was testing it. There is alot of rust/pitting on the ring that holds the shade.As well as the whole switch assembly. The spot where the oil lamp went is really pitty and rusty. The switch does work for the light,but it feels a little hard to turn. The light sits crooked. I think it has to do with the electrical outlet. When you look down on it,you can see the light is crooked. The whole ring and the entire switch mechanism is dirty and pitted/rusted up. The base appears to have been cleaned up. Its a lot shinier than the rest.It still has some pitting and tarnish spots on it.The underneath side looks terribly discolored and spotty. There is a small chipped off piece on the base. I took a pic. Not really noticeable.But its there The light stands(with shade on) about 16 inches

Victorian Large Parlor/Table Lamp with 35 Real Crystal Drops Beautiful lamp with a lovely cozy glow~ the color creates a warm colored light across the room. And the base light is reminiscent of a low burning fire or lit candle. All the drops are real cut crystals so there is a lot of sparkle around the middle. The large umbrella shade is very romantic. It has a long. tall clear glass chimney that fits around the bulb, that looks like an Aladdin, but it's not marked. This lamp does not have any markings or stamps~ it's not in mint condition; it does have some minor issues. But they are VERY minor. There is one small flake like chip around the bottom edge of the shade that doesn't show because of the metal rim of the shade frame. There is another very small flake like chip along the bottom edge of the base that fits down into the ... morebottom metal piece so it doesn't show as well. Use the bottom for a night light~ the top for reading~ and both for entertaining. The wiring is fine and it works well. But the cord does show some age and wear. It does not have any damaged spots and will probably last for quite a while longer yet before it required changing. This is almost over the top with the ornate details incorporated into the metal portions, drawing on classic design elements to create this stunning overall effect. This lamp stands approx. 29" to the top of the finial in the globe, the base measures approx. 12" in diameter. The globe measures approx. 9" in diameter, and sports a metal finial top that is purely decorative. We like the fiddle-head fern like pattern on the glass, which is in very good to excellent condition, though there are some chips to the fitter circle, as many antique lampshades have, but the frame obscures the flaw. This wonderful lamp is in very nice working condition. It has a bronze(or gold gilt over copper) body with black metal accents. The main body of the lamp is 14" tall and 10" wide. The height to the top of the two part finial is 28" It is a kerosene lamp that has been converted to electric. With 2 light sockets and an on-off switch on the base. This lamp would work well with a variety of shades, including stained or slag glass. The top of the lamp is embossed THE JUNO LAMP MADE IN USA. The base is cast metal and stamped with the number 690 and EM& CO for Edward Miller and Company. The wick raiser knob is stamped PAT. MAY 21. 1895. Overall. A few areas of the seam on the main body of the lamp can be seen you look very closely as it's separated slightly with age. The seem runs horizontal around the lamp just above the lion's eyes. It's not a structural issue, and the body is solid. There is also some wear or patina to the metal, which isn't unusual given the age. Lastly, one of the light sockets needs to be tightened. VICTORIAN GONE WITH THE WIND OIL KEROSENE PARLOR LAMP CONVERTED TO ELECTRIC in great working condition. I found this lamp at an estate sale near Lexington. Kentucky. This oil lamp has been converted to electric. The socket is where the burner used to be and the electrical cord runs out from it right underneath. They did not disturb the glass bottom part of the lamp when they converted it. The bottom is decorated with pink flowers and is trimmed in light green. The upper shade is not original to the lamp. It is a white frosted shade. The lamp is 18 3/4 inches tall to the top of the chimney. The frosted white shade is 7 1/4 inches high and has a 10 inch fitter base. The clear glass chinmey is 10 inches high and has a 3" fitter base. This would be a nice lamp for your home. Gorgeous vintage gone with the wind parlor lamp. A lovely detailed handpainted double globe being a beige color with yellow and pink roses with brown shaded leaves. Very soft suttle look. Trimmed in browm. The inside shade has a white frosted shade. Both the bottom and the top lights up. Size measures 21" tall and the widest point is 10 1/2" The bottom has a date of 1973 with other numbers. I have found only one small chip in the top ruffle of the glass. Please see the last picture. Very small one. This piece is in outstanding condition with all paint intacted! There will be insurance added to this item.

SUCCESS 1 ANTIQUE VICTORIAN GONE WITH THE WIND ELECTRIC OIL KEROSENE PARLOR LAMP
The beauty stand tall at apprx 17 1/2" high and almost 7" at her widest bulbous point. This is all original and just needs a lovely glass flute top. The oil knob displays SUCCESS. The lower and upper necks are brass. The lower and upper bases may be brass over base metal. The lamp may need to be rewired. The hand painted floral globe is gorgeous with a graduating base painting from golden warm sun color to the green ground on the main part of the lamp. The roses are absolutely gorgeous. Lovely condition with some patina on the brass part. Will need some cleaning but should clean up nicely for a beautiful display. This lamp does work. All parts appear to be original. This lamp stands 19 1/2" Tall to top of shade. The opening at the top of the shade is 4 1/4" and the bottom rim/fitter is a 9 1/4" The marble base is 5" square. The lamp shade rim is rough. Does have a few chips and a bit of color loss. You cannot see when lamp shade sits in the metal fitter. The metal on the bottom that is attached to the marble base has surface patina. I will include a frosted hurricane insert. It may be a bit short for this lamp. No bulb ... moreis included. The MYRTLE parlor lamp was named by Nicholas Kopp. This lamp is listed in Fostoria. Ohio Glass ll by Melvin Murray on page 168. The lamp was oil kerosene and has been electrified. The lamp is in good condition with no chips or cracks. The lamp is 25" tall to the top of the globe and 17" tall where the socket is applied on the lamp.
