DEGUE : FRENCH 1930 ART DECO CHANDELIER ............... bronze suspension lamp
DEGUE Wonderful 1930 french art deco chandelier in nickel plated bronze holding a thick and large shade in moulded-pressed glass by Degué the glass factory of David Guéron. Both canopy and shade representing pine cones. This model shade is like the matching slip shades always unsigned. Many sellers atribute them to Noverdy a glass manufactory in Dijon. Because also Noverdy made shades in a pine cone decoration and some of these are signed Noverdy. But the unsigned slip shades as well as the bowl on the chandelier on offer here are of a thicker and better made quality then Noverdy glasses. Have a look at my other ads. At the moment I have a large chandelier with Degue slip shades for sale and I added pics of a 1930/35 documentation confirming these shades are produced by Degué.
