They have etched shades and are small enough to set on a desk or a table. These lamps have a 10 prisms ring around them. They measure 13 ½” tall with a 4” square base at the bottom. I love these lamps they are so small and unique and look perfect on a nightstand for reading. The plug is what makes them unique they have a slide on off switch the likes of which I have never seen before. This dates these lamps back to the before the 40’s. Please see pics. Vintage BedSide Table Lamp 15" Molded Decorative Clear Glass Floral Shade Cute
For sale is this cute little bedside table lamp purchased from an estate sale. This lamp stands 15" tall and is made of a very decorative pressed glass. The style is very old fashioned and victorian looking. The bottom is octogon shaped and measures 4 1/2" across. This lamp has been rewired at some point and works great. The socket and switch looks like newer metal. There are three different glass sections with metal between each section. That metal shows a bit a rust but you have to look close to see it. The shade is paper and has a floral pattern in greens and yellow. It attaches to a normal size light bulb. The bulb purchased with this is a 15 watt and does not come with the lamp due to shipping regulations. The shade measures 6 3/4" long and is 8" across on the wide side. It is in great condition other than it might ... morebe faded. This lamp is over all in good condition for its age and can be just what you are looking for. LOVELY VICTORIAN DECORATIVE CLEAR GLASS OIL LAMP.
A very nice quality 28 inches tall Corinthian column Victorian oil lamp in good used condition. The lamp is a twin duplex with a black end British made duplex wick control and does have new wicks fitted. The shade is a later replacement to complement the clear glass font and to complete the lamp is a good Corinthian brass column with a very small brass plug see my photos for more detail they form part of this description.

I do not know exactly the function of these 2 glass and stainless items. They are Poulsen. Stand 10" tall and are 3" at the base. They bear the moulded"R" in the bottom, the signature is etched in. Very modern, utilitarian in that they are glass and stainless. Can be seen as vases, decanters, or many other items/uses. Marble base is about 4" x 4" x 7/8" thick. Each lamp sits on a metal underside with four round feet. Beautiful center decorative glass in a hexagon shape. Topped off with intricate metal work. Beautiful Antique Circa 1920's Edward Miller& CO Made in Meriden. Connecticut, USA Small ornate table lamp with decorative metal overlaps and 4 panels of Carmel colored stained glass shade. It is approximately 14" tall x 5.5" across. The shade diameter is 6 3/4. The lamp weighs approximately 5 lbs. It has a marked(pictured) single socket with push on& off switch. The base is marked 245 ML CO on the bottom(pictured) This lamp is in good working condition. The panels of the stained glass have rough edges- after doing some research I've found this to be the norm for lamps of this age from this manufacturer. Overall, it s in very good condition- for almost being 100 years old. The ornate details are much more impressive in person.

This lamp belonged to my grandmother(b 1914-d 2002) and has not been in use since her passing. Unfortunately we don't know the history. It works! A LITTLE HISTORY: It is thought that manufacturers created slag glass by taking slag. The waste content of metal ores, from iron-smelting works and adding it to molten glass. The process created a variety of effects, such as tortoiseshell and marbling. Slag glass is often found in brown, like this listed lamp} purple, blue, and green, with streaks of white or cream. The glass originally went by descriptive names such as, marble glass, or"brown malachite. The British company Sowerby patented its recipe for purple malachite in 1878. Lampshades were a popular application in both England and the United States. Nearly any lamp maker from the Art Nouveau period may have used slag glass in their lampshades. ... moreSome people often refer to any type of pressed glass containing swirls or streaks as"slag glass. According to a well know collectors publication, the key to identifying true slag glass is to look for obvious and richly marbled glass. THE LISTED LAMP: This lamp has varying shades of brown and cream. The glass is encased in a brass framing with decorative fretwork around the bottom of the shade. Each of the eight glass panels has an Art Nouveau design in the bottom center of the panel. The metal lamp base itself is rather different than many. In that it does not incorporate a top disc or finial by design. The shade fits over a large metal circle at the top of the harp structure to hold the shade. See photograph# 4& 8} Once in place, the shade will not come off without lifting it straight upward over the lip that is a bit higher than the shade. However, it will allow the user to somewhat easily rotate the shade to display the glass panel of their choice. While the base is not very elaborately decorated, or very thick in circumference, it does give an interesting look to the large shade.
