Vintage RUBY Red BOHEMIAN Glass CUT to CLEAR 18" Table LAMP w/MARBLE Base BRASS

My opinion is that the glass is Bohemian. It's quite beautiful with a heavy glass center that appears to be ruby red(I think, rather than"flashed" red) which is cut to clear in a geometric pattern. The fittings appear to be brass and the base/ foot is marble(with felt lining on bottom. A fairly large piece. The glass measures approximately 6" in diameter. The base is about 5" square. Not counting ... morethe finial, it is 18 1/4" tall. This piece appears to be in generally excellent used/old condition and- as you can see in the next to last pic- it works great. I don't see any cracks or damage on the cord. Either. However, I can not remove the harp. and I am not going to try to force it. The only damage I see is some green on the stem- discoloration or just needs cleaning/ polishing? Please do examine the pictures carefully but note that any bright white and/or yellow spots on pics are just glare/flash! Antique Amethyst Cut Glass Table Lamp
This bright Amethyst colored glass lamp was originally just candle burning when we purchased it many years ago. We had it professionally wired. Without any drilling or altering of the glass, the wire runs down the outside back. Condition is in as near perfect as can be. The brass base was also added when we wired it as a lamp. There were never any chips or cracks that had to be ground out, it is as it was originally made. The glass candlestick is 14 1/2" tall, and 25" to the shade rest, lampshade not included. The socket is for a three way bulb.

Base is gold colored wood with a lead weight bolted to the underside. Body section is a 11 inch tall vase with a maximum diameter of 2-3/4 inches. Vase cap part. Lamp socket, and finial are solid brass with an aged patina. Lamp socket has a push button switch and is marked F inside a circle for Mogul brand. Steel shade harp section measures 9 inches tall and is finished in a golden brass color. Paper lampshade measures 10 inches tall and 11 inches in diameter at the bottom edge. It is die cut paper with a leafy flower pattern and wavy upper and lower edges. Lamp works perfectly and uses a standard light bulb. Not included. I point out that 2 or three of the spears are missing 1 bead. so you might want to add one to even out the length. one spear might be a longer one also. Also some of the points are nicked but normal for these spears. they are very heavy and really sparkle in the light. This is a working antique table lamp about 27 1/2 inches tall. Cut lines are very sharp with a few overcrossing(errors that pressed glass doesn't have) You can feel the sharp edges. Pair Vintage Antique ? Crystal Cut Glass Table Lamp With Prisms Etched Hurricane
I looked over the glass base and did not see any major issues with the glass base. Actually did not see any issues and I looked pretty closely. The one etched hurricane has a crack in the base that can be seen in the picture. Both lamps need to be rewired. Two crystals are missing. I was able to easily take apart one lamp by hand while the other has rust. I want to cut the cords off and part the lamps for safe shipping. Please advise me of any special requirements you might have before buying. Doing an excellent grade A+ job packing is not a special requirement and is included in the price of this item. The bottom square part of the base is 4 1/8" and the top round glass part of the base measures 4 3/4" diameter. 2/21/2014 UPDATE: Based on all the interest and questions I am having in the lamps I decided to cut the electric cords off and really examine both lamps. Two things I have noticed that are note worthy. One semi-pear glass midsection has 4 hairline cracks. The glass is very thick and these cracks do not carry into the inside of the glass. I never noticed these cracks until I really examined the individual pieces looking for issues. The rest of the glass pieces on both lamps look good. One piece of wire that hangs through the glass base is missing. This thin piece of wire allows the crystal to hang from the lamp. The cords are off and ready to have new wiring. The existing lamp fixtures on the lamps look to be in good condition and will work just fine. New wire and inline switch will be needed. 2/21/14 UPDATE: New wire and plugs added. Kept the switches as new ones would not match the quality of the existing ones. Little over 7 foot long cords. All the effort of wiring and costs means I am not likely to accept a best offer
