2 BEAUTIFUL glass oil table lamps cranberry shades / opaque base/ kerosene light
You are bidding on a pair of glass oil table lamps. The lamps have a white opaque base. The color of the base is best seen in photo# 3. It is not as white as in photo# 1& 2. It has a bit of a hobnail design. There are some areas where there is some darker white in the glass but there are no chips or cracks in the area or any where on the glass. I tried to show this in photo# 3. It does not take away from the beauty of the light. The measurement from the base to the top of the wick is 9 inches. The base is 4 3/4 inches in diameter. There is a gold colored sticker on one of the bases reading made in Hong Kong. The shades are what I would describe as a cranberry color. They have a very pretty Victorian style design. The shade is 5 3/4 inches high x 7 3/4 inches in diameter. There are no chips or cracks. The total heigth of the lamp with ... morethe shade on is about 15 inches. Please note the glass chimneys do not match. One is clear and the other is a smokey color. They are also different shapes and heigths. One must of broke and someone just used what they had to replace it. No chips or cracks on the shades. These would be beautiful in any setting. The lamps may have never been used. Pair of Vintage Glass Table Lamps w Etched Cranberry Shades w Hanging Crystals
These unique Art Deco style vintage cut crystal glass table lamps with beautiful etched cranberry colored shades and hanging cut crystals are in excellent working conditions. All the imperfections I could find are a missing hanging crystal and two tiny. Not really noticeable nicks on the upper rim of one of the shades. For some reason there is an 3/8" difference in the height of the lamps. One of them is 15 1/2" the other is 15 1/8" with the shades on. The shades are the same sizes with 8" height and 4 1/4" width at the upper rim. The hanging crystals are 2 7/8" long without the diamond cut buttons. The body of the lamps consist of a massive base prism and a ball between two disc shape prisms under a round top bowl with the 8 and 7 crystals respectively. Up for auction are these Vintage pair of glass hurricane lamps. They are 14" tall with the shades in place.The glass is fine with no problems. There is 1 bubble that the mold was not completely filled when formed. The prisms are pretty good, minor chipping to some of the tips. The electrical does work and I have used them. However I would suggest replacing as they are old or at least the cords. The metal parts are rusted& would also look nicer replaced. The hurricane shades are in super condition, I did not see any scratches. There are some( 3) minor flea bites on the bottom edge, nothing that would be considered a real chip just a thin sliver bite. 19thC Fancy Brass Double Student Lamp, Cranberry Opalescent Glass Shades
This beautifully ornate antique double student oil lamp has two dual wick burners with glass chimneys. The width is approximately 19" with a height of 27" This lamp is quite heavy. Though the origin of this lamp is unknown. The knobs on the burners are stamped"Duplex- Made in England" Condition: Please note that, with most antiques, there is the expected wear to the lamp so please look closely at all pictures, as they are considered as part of my description, and feel free to ask questions. There is a small separation in the smaller decorative brass area noted in the last picture. The Cranberry Opalescent shades are quite stunning and are such a deep rich cranberry color. VTG or Antique Pair of Clear Glass Gas Lamps w/Cranberry Hurricane Shades Prisms
This is a gorgeous pair of gas lamps(I assume they were gas) A candle could be set inside. I purchased these a couple of years ago from a gentlemen and they had belonged to his grandmother. These are glass rather than crystal; the glass has very slightly yellowed due to age. All prisms are accounted for; they are attached by what I believe are brass hooks. There are no cracks or large chips but there are a few flea bites and surface scratches here and there. They are of a substantial weight and sit completely flat and sturdily. Without the shades they measure 6 6/8" tall to the top of the glass. With the shades they are 11 13/16" tall. The bases are approximately 4.25" in diameter. The etched cranberry shades are in great condition. They have an iridescent sheen to them. They do show some general surface wear and have a few ... moreflea bites along the base rims. But the top rims are perfect and there are no cracks or chips. They are a clear glass with the cranberry applied finish. I only ship within the US except with prior approval. Matching Pair of Miniature Bohemian Glass Oil Lamps Original burners were converted to electric. But the glass is not altered. Excellent condition with minor signs of age. No chips or cracks. 12" Tall total with chimney. The base is 3-1/2" tall to the collar and the shades are 6" diameter. The glass is thick and heavy and the hand painted decoration and gold details are intact. The burners have been converted to electric but the glass is not altered or damaged. Someone in the past added electric cords to the"Kosmos Brenner" burners. But if you want them to be oil lamps again, just get new burners.
