This wonderful antique solid brass/ bronze small table lamp had been in my grandparents home for my whole life(over 65 years) It at one time had a mica shade on it. But, that has long ago gone missing. I am pretty darn sure that it has never been polished, as it has the original dark patina. It has the weight of a bronze lamp, and could be bronze. Sort of reminds you of an Aladdins lamp at the top. It stands 10 1/2" tall not including the Arrow socket. It is 7 1/2" wide at the bottom. I think the lamp is from the early 1900's and has a pull chain for turning on/off. I was hoping this lamp would have a signature from a company like Bradley& Hubbard since the larger lamp in the room was from that company. But. Handel Hanging Bronze Copper Arts And Crafts Handing Lamp Fixture Iced Glass
I have here a period Arts and Crafts Hanging lamp. This lamp was purchased out of Camp Topridge in Tupper Lake NY. Actually has the smell of woodsmoke inside of it when you open it. I am pretty sure that it was made by Handel. I found two references for this lamp. But no prices however, although one of the references said this is a very rare lamp. This one has a nice patina on it, has a great look. Could be cleaned up a little bit. Measures over 17 1/4 inches from bottom to top loop on top of lamp, Hard to measure exactly on this item. Glass has a frosted look to it, two of the bottom pieces are broken, but easily remedied. Arts and crafts style. Great great item out of an Adirondack camp In the beautiful Adirondack mountains. ANTIQUE HANDEL BRONZE FLOOR LAMP ARTS & CRAFTS circa 1910
An original"HANDEL" floor lamp made in bronze and in very good condition. It has been rewired and works well. All appears original with the exception of the new wiring and a non-original glass shade. The base is not bronze. It appears to be made of cast metal, and has a"silver" look to it, maybe what used to be called pot metal. I cannot find anything stamped"HANDEL" on the lamp or base, my wife has owned the lamp since the early'60s. Lamp is heavy, weighs about 18 lbs. It stands 56" tall, and is 13" wide at the top and has an 8" base. On/Off switch is original. Made in Meriden Conn. around 1910-1920.

Bronze patinaed body with a great post Nouveau Prairie design. Can be used a desk lamp. Nightstand light ot piano lamp. This would be at home with any ARTS and CRAFTS, Stickley Oak, Greene& Greene, or Frank Lloyd Wright Prairie. The head shade rotates and the arm is adjustable up and down. The lamp has been repaired where the arm meets the adjustable joint in the 80s to reinforce the arm connection as seen. The connection at top T may have been modified as seen it is a bit darker on left side, minor but would like to point out all anomalies. Cord was replaced with nylon at some time in recent past. LIGHT WORKS AS SEEN. The original felt is a ... morebit worn on edges on bottom. Not perfect but a great example!
