An original spelter and brass Victorian Corinthian column oil lamp base. This base has a very elegant cast spelter base and corinthian capital. With a brass column. The rose piece is a standard No 10 size having a medium screw thread of 20 t.p.i. and an internal diameter of 23mm. Width of base is just under 7 inches. Height is 12 1/2 inches. Weight is 2090 grams. Has been lightly cleaned and polished. Ready for use.

ORIGINAL MASSIVE CORINTHIAN COLUMN BASE for an OIL LAMP.
An original massively built Victorian Corinthian column oil lamp base. This had been previously drilled for electric. A very small hole had been drilled in the top section of the stepped base. We have disguised this by adding 4 small decorative brass spheres and the whole base has been cleaned and lightly polished. The original center rod has been retained complete with it's butterfly nut. The base is unusual in that instead of the normal cast iron loading the entire bottom stepped base is one massive casting. The reeded tube is 1 3/4 inch diameter. Overall height is 14 1/2 inches. Base is 6 inches square. The rose piece is a standard No 10 size having a medium screw thread of 20 t.p.i. and an internal diameter of 23mm. Width of base is 6 inches. Height is 12 1/2 inches. Weight is 6350 grams.
