I cannot find any others to compare it to on ebay and there are no markings on the light other than on the socket inside the lamp and on the side as shown are the letters P&O. I am not sure if this was a gas type light or not. Although it has a socket where a bulb or something would have fit but on the side of the light it looks like a flint or sparker. The light will need the chrome trim cleaned.Sorry I am not much help here, please see the pictures and maybe someone out there can tell me more. The works are mounted on a nice piece of oak and there are exposed wires etc on the back. It appears the glass is missing however the clip holder to hold the glass guard in is in the metal hood. The metal hood is hinged and has holes to let the heat escape. The light measures 11" long x 5" wide and weighs unpackaged 3-1/2 pounds.At the top of the light is a knob that can be turned to control the brightness i am guessing. I will combine items to save on shipping expenses, but please contact me for shipping rates as they vary depending on location, and the rates shown are only a ball park and apply only to Canada not including postal tax. this is a very rare antique copper and brass converted oil lamp. it has exquisite ornate victorian design. With very intense detailing. it has highly embossed copper designs that run around the base of the lamp. it has beautiful trim. Base and feet. the upper oil container is a large insert. That sits recessed in the base. it was converted to be electric and works great. it can be converted back if desired, it has an on/ off switch on the base. it is in great shape and has a nice patina from age. it measures 12 3/4 x 11 inches. very rare lamp. Antique art deco table lamp Magenta beaded fringe shade c. 1920* This pretty antique art deco table lamp stands 17 inches tall and is 7 inches wide at the base. The lamp has been rewired and has a brass pull chain socket with a double cut crystal pull on the chain. The fancy pierced brass shade ring is decorated with magenta bakelite beaded fringe in a chevron pattern. The base is mostly brass with a circular copper foot in a border of crosses. I used a short round standard watt light bulb in this lamp which doesn't extend down beyond where the beads end. These decorator bulbs can be found in any home center or home depot. Antique French Champleve Gilded Copper & Brass Table Lamp Paris ca.1880-1890
This table lamp is most unique in its form and design. An antique French Champleve candelabra that was modified to become an electric lamp. It is very beautiful with a gilded copper and brass metal angular body and a large circular face-plate insert of enamel champlevé design on both sides, in the style of the late 19th century, circa 1880-1890 in Paris. The colors of the inserts ranging from light green, dark blue, light blue, black, white, pink, orange, to gold. From its base to its socket, the lamp is 27 1/2" tall and 7 3/4" at its widest. There are five brass tiers on which the champlevé discs sit, and between the bottom tier and the ones above, there are four sculpted"figures" connected with chains, holding up the tiers above. The finial reflects the design of the discs and it is 1 1/2" tall. Weight ... moreof the lamp is 7 lbs. 5.4 oz. The bottom of the brass base is covered in green felt. This type of lamp is very rare, and this one is a particularly splendid specimen. There are signs of age, wear to the gilt and some patina on the bottom tier, which is perfectly normal. It is in perfect working order and in very good antique condition. It would enhance any home décor wherever it is displayed. A PAIR of arts and craft outdoor lights, that came out of an Old ERIE PA. Church, which I bought from the pervious owners son. There is a marking on the bracket that would mount on the wall, it is a diamond shape, and is marked either GCG or CGG, I have shown you a picture. They have the ORIGINAL frosted glass inserts, which is curved glass. The lamps still have the old cloth wiring on them. They are 13 1/4" tall, would stick ... moreout from the wall apprx 11 1/8" and the shade is 7 1/8" across the widest part. The bottom edge of the shade has a crimped design to it. Has the porcelain socket inside. Back of shades have a unique seam, as shown. The 4 piece of glass are all here. They all have a slightly different curve to their shape, so will wrap individually, then in a box with dividers. One shade has a little chip on the edge. The curved tubing that screws into the round wall mount bracket, has the threads stripped on one of the lamps. So you can either get it re-threaded or just soldered. There is some light spotting on one of the shades. The bottoms of the lamps are not perfectly round, so you may have to reshape them a bit to get the shades in, I did not want to mess with them. There are brass pieces that hold the shades in. One may be missing one of those clips. I have unscrewed the finial on top, so that they will be easier to ship. You just need to screw it back on. Antique Lamp Base. Brass& Copper, no reserve Up for auction is this Vintage Unsigned Brass and Copper Lamp Base. The lamp is approx. 13 1/2” tall and the base is approx. 5 1/4” square. It is in very good condition with the paint being in nice shape with very little loss. But it does need rewiring. It has the replaced socket and wiring and it does work. The bottom is made brass while the bulbous part is a brown patina painted copper and the decorations pieces and feet may be pewter. It is in very good vintage condition. Vintage Genuine Fire Extinguisher Lamp QUICK Aid GENERAL Fire Guard brass copper
This is a genuine fire extinguisher that has been made into a table lamp. I'm not sure when that was done but it wasn't resent. I am not sure if the extinguisher is brass with a copper bottom or all copper. I think it is brass with a copper bottom but my husband says its all copper. So the pics will have to decide. It is a General Fire Guard Model TF-4 Quick Aid Foam Not for electrical fires. Measures 23 inches tall to top of crank wheel. 2 1/2 gallon General Detroit Corp- General Pacific Corp. The light socket needs to be replaced and there is some damage to the hose where it attaches to the extinguisher and there is a small dent in the back near the top edge where it starts to get smaller and it needs cleaned. The lamp works and the wire has a lutron attache dimmer and it works well. Still might want to replace the cord and socket ... morejust so it is more up to date and the socket needs replaced anyway.

The base is matte black enameled metal with copper feet and handles having grotesque dolphins. The base is copper crowned, the font and burner of brass. The brass shade ring has two clamps to secure the panel shade. The brass framed tulip form shade has six purple and green slag glass panels. Includes the chimney. It is in working order, new cord and plug, switch on cord. The lamp with shade measures 16-1/2" tall by 10-1/2" wide at handles, the shade alone 7-3/4" tall by 9-3/4" diameter. Very Good condition: lamp base without dents or breaks, original unworn finishes. The shade is securely framed brass, all glass without chips, one glass panel is cracked in half horizontally(see photo with red arrows)

antique ornate early handmade 1800's copper brass electric figural table lamp
This is a stunning antique handmade copper figural electric table lamp. the copper shaft was once a early 19th century ewer that was turned into a lamp early 1900's. is made from a beautifully hammered copper. And has acquired a nice patina from age. it depicts several figures. Crests, floral detailing,and scroll design done in high relief. it has a great footed base and ribbed brass shaft. it has a dual brass generic sized bulb socket which has great on/off pull chains. it is topped with a large solid brass finial. measures 30 1/2 inches tall by 6 1/4 inches wide. it is in nice working shape, there is some ware and a couple small dings to the copper but nothing bad. vintage electric lamp. appears hand made. signed on bottom.15 3/4 inch long.16 1/4 tall 4 3/4 on side. hinged top to bulbs. knob turns 1 light then other then both. copper& brass has some wear spots. 1 light cover has small crack on top. see photo's. 4 pieces of beveled glass surrounds each light. they measure 4x3. the rail is not connected to posts on one side, corner rail needs to be secured. not disconnected,just wiggly. quite unique, stands out to say a statement. heavy as well.
