This is an antique. Victorian, red,art glass lamp produced by Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company. The lamp is a reconverted kerosene/ oil lamp that has been electrified. The lamp's pattern is Imperial and also can be called Diamondrape or Victoria.The red(cerise) satin finished lamp was produced in the 1890's through the early 1900's.The lamp is about 15" tall(glass and base) with a footedbase that is brass plated with the splter(zinc) finish. The base is a 7" square. If you want the shade I have used with the lamp, I would send that also but in another box. This lamp belonged to my mother's best friends's mother. My mother and her friend would be close to 100 if they were alive today. I was given this lamp about 40 years ago. The inside of the base is marked"PAIRPOINT MGR CO 3054" The shade measures 10" in diameter around the base that fits into the shade ring and 13" at its widest point. The shade is marked"40719 Patent MAY 31 1910. THE SHADE IS VIRTUALLY PERFECT. THERE ARE NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR REPAIRS. It's all original and as good as the day it was made. As is normal, there are a couple of teeny tiny flea bites out of the edge of the rim of the glass shade where the shade rests on the fitter ring of the base. These are insignificant and barely noticable. The pull chain is an acorn style chain. The cord is very old. Probably 30's or 40's, very highly likely a replacement; Not sure. This fine antique GWTW Lamp has glass parts that were made by Consolidated Glass of Pittsburgh. They have Puffy Lion's Heads and the electrified lamp can be lit with top only. Bottom only or top and bottom at the same time. The glass shade and bottom were also hand painted with Roses. The metal base is white metal with a brass finish. On the underside of the metal base is F10 embossed on the metal. It could be a Pittsburgh Lamp, just do not know for sure.
