ABSOLUTELY STUNNING AND PERFECT! Very large Fenton White Coin Dot Lamp. It is 28" tall from top to bottom. The globe on top measures 10 1/4" high. I am not sure if the chimney is original. It looks like it but again not sure. The bottom of the base is marked F-711. There are NO CHIPS OR CRACKS to this beautiful piece. Looks something like you would see in Gone With The Wind. Great detail to feet and middle, original turn key. Makes quite a statement in your home! 2 vintage crystal lamps with polka dots with hanging crystals They both work. One of the dots has some color missing. Inside one of the lamps is a tiny hair line mark. Otherwise no cracks or chips. Victorian Oil Kerosene Lamp Blue Cased Cut Glass Font Fenton Coin Dot Ball Shade
Victorian Duplex Burner Kerosene Oil Lamp C. 1880-90 ORIGINAL PERIOD LAMP. NOT A REPRODUCTION. The font is mold blown cased glass. Clear over blue. The clear surface is delicately wheel cut in a lace like pattern. The third photo shows the truest color) The font is mounted with a brass collar and tapered support that are cemented on. The lamp's base is brass with a iron under plate. The duplex burner's knobs are embossed with a globe emblem. The Fenton blown opaline coin dot glass shade is old, whether it is original to the base is unknowable but they have been together for some time. I have worked on antique lamps for over thirty years. I have not seen a similar font before. CONDITION: Surprisingly good. The font has not been drilled and has no problems. The brass elements have darkened with age and can be polished as brightly as ... moreyou desire. There is surface rust on the iron under plate. The burner was gutted when it was electrified. The rowels that move the wicks are still in place. A section of the gallery that holds the chimney in place is missing. The chimney still fits tightly. The chimney is not as old as the lamp(few are) and has chips on its bottom and top edges. The shade, no cracks, it has chips on the inner surface of its fitter opening, these may have occurred when the shade was made and the fitter lip was ground, and again, chips on the inner edge of its top opening, these are from use. Such chips are typical on old shades. Dimensions: 24 1/2" tall with the chimney in place. The lamp. To the font collar, 11 1/4" tall. Font, 6" maximum diameter. Foot, 7" diameter. Shade, 4" fitter, 7" maximum diameter. The entire lamp weighs, 8 pounds, 6 ounces. It will be disassembled when packed. I am offering a Vintage Antique Fenton Coin Dot Lamp w/Marble Base& Scalloped Shade w/Finial. The lamp base measures 22" tall from base to bulb holder. The scalloped shade measures an additional 14" tall. To make the complete lamp 36" tall. The square base of this lamp is made from a dark marble. The center of this lamp is made from ridged brass. The top of the lamp is made from a circular, full, white, milky glass that has cut-out oval shapes in different sizes that reveal their clear centers. The shade of this lamp is made from a cream fabric. The shade has a scalloped bottom, and the top and bottom have a braided trim. The glass have a coin dot/thumb print type pattern. The lamps stand tall at 33" from base to top fennel. The lamps have a brass style ribbed metal pedestal that stands on a double layer of white marble accents with floral brass metal trim. The base marble has a felt bottom. Original cords are in good condition. No frays or electric issues seen. The lamps were inspected, cleaned and are in working condition as shown in the pictures. The base is 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" square. The lamps seem to be in great condition for age and as expected from use and age. VTG Fenton Glass French Opalescent Coin Dot ChandelierSwag Lamp Cottage Chic
Here I have for your consideration a gorgeous. Antique French Opalescent Fenton Glass chandelier or swag lamp. The pattern is Coin Dot, also known as Thousand Eyes because when you look into an"eye" you see 1000. The opalescence is stunning, almost transparent. True artwork. The lamp is 39-40 inches from the ceiling plate to the finial at the bottom. This brass toned part is seen in the second photo. I will put this lamp together for you in photos. The second photo is with the font inside the metal framing, the font is 4" tall and 12" around at the widest. There is a night light bulb housing inside the font. Next is placing the shade into the frame, I had to do this extra carefully for my photos because I was by myself. This is why the chain is touching the shade in photos# 4& 5 and where the lamp looks slightly crooked. ... moreThe shade is 8" tall, 6"6 1/2" across the ruffled top, it is 10" across the base. The wiring is cloth covered, definitely needs replaced to make it safe to use, see photo# 10. The cloth covering is off one of the wires all together, it was dry and just crumbled off. Once rewired this lamp would be more fabulous than imaginable, all those artistic dots with tons of opalescence. It could even be put on a dimmer! It would shine beautifully over a dining room table, or add elegance anywhere it was hung. My photos do not begin do this exquisite piece justice. There are no real issues with this beauty. There is a small 1/2" or smaller feathered chip on the Inside of the rim of the shade as previously mentioned. This is not seen once set in its frame. No flea bites, other chips, cracks, scratches or repairs. As you can see, there is no chimney, but I have purchased a few that could fit, if so I will include it. Pre packaged weight is 8 pounds.
