Vintage industrial desk lamp. Features metal articulating arms. Cast iron joints, a vintage cast base, an aged brass lamp shade, and three antique cast iron valve handles. The shade, base and handles have a wonderful patina. Wiring is brand new reproduction brown twisted cloth cord and a new antique style plug. Everything works perfectly and safely. The brass socket and turn key have an oil-rubbed bronze finish. The base is a heavy cast iron. Three separate joints enable the lamp to be positioned in a wide variety of ways. The handles at all three joints make re-positioning easier. The valve handles can easily be switched to the opposite side if preferred. I can do that for the winning bidder if requested. The lamp socket takes regular sized bulbs and looks great with a reproduction type bulb. The reproduction bulb is not included but I can ... moreadvise on where they are available. Up for bid is this antique desk lamp. This was found at an estate sale and I am not a collector nor am I versed in this subject so I am going to describe the item the best I can. The base is ornate. The neck of it adjusts. The switch says"Bryant" The"head" of it is loose from the neck. The cord seems VERY old with a lot of wear- so much that we are not risking plugging it in. Antique Wood Brass Cast Iron Carriage Lamp foyer table desk lamp
This is a beautiful antique table lamp with a heavy cast iron base with a carved wooden post and a Carriage like bevel glass(encased) shade. This shade is a metal tin painted a matte black color. There is a couple of scuffs and nicks on paint but not bad and easy to fix. The lamp is sturdy, stands up straight, and measures about 16 1/2" tall and 6" wide at base. This lamp weighs more than 4 lbs. There are scuffs and scratches on the wood post of this lamp- only from previous use and wear from age. There are straight hairline cracks in the wood post but it looks like this is how the wood is placed together, like a wainscoting design. Not sure of type of wood- could be walnut? The carriage like looking shade has beveled clear glass panes framed in metal with brass top. None of the clear glass panes are chipped or cracked. Not sure ... moreof maker- There are numbers marked on the bottom of bare cast iron base but no maker name. This lamp seems to have an original outlet cord and plug- prongs on plug are marked Academy Automatic Made in USA~ Albeit. This lamp is probably about 50 years old or older. It would look great in a foyer hall or side table in an office. The bulb shown has an amber tint- this bulb will be included. I may have to disassemble this lamp a little for shipping and will wrap securely with bubble wrap and include insurance. Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Vintage. Art Deco lamp with flexible goose neck and cast iron base. Base has indentations for pens, paperclips, etc. Lamp has an antique, bronze colored finish, and a rolled rim parabola shaped reflector shade. Lamp is 14.5" to top of gooseneck. Shade is 6.75" diameter. 4" high. Base is 6.75" long, 5" wide. Lamp has been sanded and re-painted. It has been re-wired with new cloth wrapped wire and plug. Original fat boy socket with switch was reused. Base has number 131 stamped on one side and 3 on the other. I don't know the manufacture. This is an old lamp and there is some slight wear.

Antique Carriage Lamp foyer table desk lamp Wood Brass Cast Iron metal ~ This is a beautiful antique table lamp with a heavy cast iron base with a carved wooden post and a Carriage like bevel glass(encased) shade. This shade is a metal tin painted a matte black color. There is a couple of scuffs and nicks on paint but not bad and easy to fix. The lamp is sturdy, stands up straight, and measures about 16 1/2" tall and 6" wide at base. This lamp weighs more than 4 lbs. There are scuffs and scratches on the wood post of this lamp- only from previous use and wear from age. There are straight hairline cracks in the wood post but it looks like this is how the wood is placed together, like a wainscoting design. Not sure of type of wood- could be walnut? The carriage like looking shade has beveled clear glass panes framed in metal with ... morebrass top. None of the clear glass panes are chipped or cracked. Not sure of maker- There are numbers marked on the bottom of bare cast iron base but no maker name. This lamp seems to have an original outlet cord and plug- prongs on plug are marked Academy Automatic Made in USA~ Albeit. This lamp is probably about 50 years old or older. It would look great in a foyer hall or side table in an office. The bulb shown has an amber tint- this bulb will be included. I may have to disassemble this lamp a little for shipping and will wrap securely with bubble wrap and include insurance. VERY COOL ART DECO ARTS & CRAFTS ERA CAST IRON BRIDGE ARM DESK LAMP
This auction is for a very cool cast iron(I think) Art Deco desk lamp. It has a very angular steam punk look to it. I don't find the cold painted colors attractive on it but that's any easy fix. The lamp has been rewired and it does work. The shade is not original to the lamp but it doesn't look too bad. It probably could use something a little shorter and maybe wider for a shade. It measures about 15 1/4" high at it's tallest point. It is marked on the bottom inside with E727. A very nice piece of antique lighting that is most definitely a diamond in the rough.
