This very nice quality lamp has exceptionally graceful proportions and is made of cast white metal and cast iron with older distressed bronze painted finish. It dates from the 1920s-30s and measures 65” tall x 10” across the trifid platform base mounted with cast metal flames and boasts a font form top with deeply molded. Cast classical foliate details topped by three candle sockets. It is made in a art nouveau/deco style(kind of) Please be sure to see the other antique items we have listed. FEATURES: This lamp is unlike anything that I have ever seen in the past. Or could find online, including eBay, Google images and a bunch of other sites. I believe the base is cast from solid bronze. It is made in a very ornate style with scrolling and leafing, and very fine details. The white satin glass globe is adorned with the most detailed hand formed( vines and leaves applied to it. They look like they have been extruded or maybe hand formed(possibly similar to how you would use a pastry gun) when the bronze was in a malleable state. I'm not sure of the actual process ... moreused to make this beautiful lamp because some of the vines feel like they are actually embedded right into the surface of the glass- and the final product is stunning. Each leaf has a very detailed design that includes a"ruffling" on each edge of the leaves. The vines and leaves have been attached to the globe by what I can only guess is a"melding" of the two materials while they were in a hot or workable stage. If anyone knows what this process is, or knows how it was made, an email would be greatly appreciated. The top section above the globe may have been cast from a different composition of materials than the base was. It is designed with a Roman or Greek style with a column look and leaves that fan out at the top. At the top of the four leaves there is a small hole where presumably a crystal hung down from there at one time. It comes with standard socket switch 2 clicks on and two clicks turns it off. I believe this lamp was re-wired with a new cord and socket sometime in the 1950's-60's. The length of the cord is a bit less than 6 feet. Vintage Art Nouveau Cast Bronze Wall Sconces with Painted Uranium Glass Shades
We recently completed a massive reno of our home that took many years to complete as we did much of the work ourselves and took our time searching for'just the right' fixtures at demolition sales. Estate sales etc. In the process, we accumulated more fixtures than we actually needed and are slowly editing our collection through Ebay. This pair of'20's era Art Nouveau styled wall sconces will need to be re-wired. Alternatively. They can be used as candle sconces only. I have not taken out the plug ends which are in the bottom of the bulb holder, but this is easily done by an electrician or handy'do it yourselfer' Measure 11.5" in height and approx. 3.5" wide. 29 x 8.5 cm) Great detail. Note the layered back-plate with arabesque scrolls etc. The curved neck of embossed brass holding the bulb and the graceful ... moreswag of brass below the bulb. The glass shades are opaque with transfer work floral details but I was suspicious of the opaque glass and sure enough, when placed under an ultra-violet light, the shades glowed bright green indicating that they are vaseline or'uranium' glass. For those unfamiliar with uranium glass, they are harmless as the radiation emited is extremely small. Uranium was used in glass frequently up until the'40's when it was needed for industrial and military use. The great thing is however is that uranium glass highly collectible so here you're not only getting great sconces the shades are collectible on their own! For even more variety. These sconces can be used with open candle style bulbs or they can be used with the painted glass globes in place, for a more traditional look. One of the glass shades is'perfect' The other has a small chip in the part which slots into the holder(i.e. unseen when in place) and a crack which can be placed against the wall when in use so it too is not visible. Offered for your consideration is this beautiful bronze(I think) lamp base. It was an estate find. They also had slag shades sold seperately. I think one may have gone to this now that I think about it. The glass on each was partially broken. So I did not buy them(regretting that now) The base stands about 15" tall without the top part connected. With the top part that is pictured connected, it stands approximately 23 1/4" I am not experienced with the knowing the difference between copper, bronze, and brass, so I looked it up. I think this is bronze but does seem to have a brass look to it too. Especially on the inside underneath. It is pretty heavy as well. There is no maker's mark except on the socket it has an H8H and on the other side of the 250 in the middle there is some sort of symbol. I am uncertain who made this but ... moreit looks like the era mentioned in the title. Maybe art deco or nouveau. I'm thinking the earlier of the two. PR GILT CAST BRONZE LAMP ORNAMENTS ~ 19thC The unusual pair of Gilt Bronze Lamp Ornaments pictured here measure 7 inches in height. 4 1/2 inches in width and weigh 16 av.ozs. They were joined at one time by screws at the top and botom to other parts of a lamp, possibly a chandelier. They are never-the-less beautifully crafted decorative ornaments. The condition is excellent.

This Great little lamp is Bronzed Cast Iron and has a Very Ornate Art Deco style! Completely reconditioned. Rewired ready to use& display! Retains its Original Paulding Press Socket switch and Leviton 8 sided Deco plug. In wonderful working condition! Measures 10 ¼” tall. 5 ½” wide at base. No shade.
Antique Vtg Lily Pad Cast Bronze? Lamp w/Harp& Finial for Tiffany Style Shade
This item is an estate find. Age and origin unknown. It is an old Lily Pad Design Lamp with the Harp and Finial for use with a Tiffany Style Shade. The very top of the finial piece is darker which will nicely go together with the leading of a shade. It measures about 17.75 inches height. The base without the harp is about 10.75" height and the width of the base is approximately 4.5 inches inches. All measurements are approximate. It works but we recommend rewiring all vintage electrics and cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage due to use of vintage electrics. The socket is Leviton with what appears to be a bakelite switch; the harp and finial will be shipped unattached. Condition: great. Works, may benefit from light cleaning and dusting. The light bulb is not included.
