Pair of Antique Carved Wood Lamps w/ Original Red Bole, Black Paint & Gilding
This pair of carved wood lamps dates to app. 1920 and are in excellent condition. The wiring is new. And we carefully lacquered the finish to preserve it. There is some minor paint loss, but not bad. The carving sits atop a brass base. To the top of the shade is 21" to the top of the carved arms is 11" the lamps are 9 1/2" wide at the arms. They could have been Italian made bases for cathedral candelabra which were then wired mid century. Wired with new three way lamp sockets. The lampshade shown is one of a pair, shades are not included but can be had for $75.00 per shade. The shades are custom painted oval parchment and are in excellent condition. Carved wood like lamp base with shade and fineal, syroco?
27 inch tall lamp. Base looks like wood, but it has a different sound when knocked. It looks like wood, but on the bottom, it looks like it came out of a mold, syroco wood? Some composite? The bulb part looks new, but it looks like someone made it into a lamp, I am not sure. The lamp is cut on top(maybe to make it into a lamp? See photo. It is heavy. OLD VINTAGE CARVED WOOD WROUGHT IRON BLOWN CAGED AMBER GLASS SPANISH TABLE LAMP
We are pleased to offer this beautiful table lamp. This older vintage. Petite table lamp has the appearance of a custom made lamp and does not look like a mass produced piece. It features a carved wood base and fixed shade. Scrolled, wrought iron is also abundant. The lamp also has the original, blown glass, globe shade sits inside the fixed shade. It fits over the light bulb and rests in a custom cradle. The glass shade is quite nice. The frame is a caged design and the amber glass has been blown into the frame. The surface of the glass is purposefully uneven and unpolished. It has a very rough texture and is somewhat sharp to the touch in areas. The fixed lamp shade has vertical wood panels with wrought iron in between the wood. The wood(I think it is pine) features a notched pattern. It is finished in a medium to dark brown stain. The ... morelamp is in good condition. It has not been refinished so it does have a beautifully aged patina and an aged character. The glass shade is good. The section of the glass that fits into the permanent collar/fitter section of the caged iron does have a section that is uneven and looks chunked. It appears as if it occurred when the glass was blown, during the finishing process. It is not visible as it is hidden by the iron collar. It does not affect the fit or the function of the shade. The wiring is vintage but is in working condition. The lamp has an on/off switch near the base. The lamp measures 18.75" tall. The base is 10.25" in diameter. The wood and iron fixed shade is 10" long. It has a top diameter of 8" and a bottom diameter of 11" The glass globe shade is 6.75" tall. Unique pineapple wood and plaster lamp base. Probably Italian, chipped gesso and gilding. This lamp could use some TLC. I bought this lamp from a dealer who imported antiques from France and Italy. Vintage Africa African Carved Wood Figural lamp Woman Head Tribal Mid Century
For sale is this very rare Antique/Vintage African Wooden Lamp. This lamp is from the estate of a Diplomat who traveled all over the world collecting. I am unsure of its age but judging by the cord I believe it is from the 1950s or 60s. I do not know what type of wood it is made of. Preowned with signs of usage and may have some scuffs or marks from usage. You very rarely see vintage African lamps. Has a crack in the wood but I do not believe this detracts from the beauty of the lamp and just adds to its character(see photos) I do not know if the crack was in the wood when the lamp was made. Lamp also needs some tightening. Like all Vintage and Antique lamps that I sell- this lamp needs to be rewired before usage. Old wiring is not safe or dependable. I was told the Sconce would date to the earlier 1800's and was original run by Gas but was Electrified many. Many decades ago. The Scone is all Hand Carved Wood with Gesso covering which has been Gold Gilded and Painted. The Sconce has a nice soft patina now from 150+ years of dusting etc and displays beautifully. The Sconce features 2 amazing fully figured Winged Cherubs and wonderful Rocco designs with a Crown ontop. The Sconce displays beautifully and is in good condition with a few old repairs but nothing too bad. The Sconce is also very large measuring 18-3/4 inches tall by 14 inches wide and stands out from the wall approx 10-1/2 inches. I would suggest rewiring the sconce or as the last owner did, use candles. I love this Sconce and I am sure the new owner will too. Outstanding hand carved WOOD ALPINE MOUNTAIN CLIMBER FOLK ART FIGURE & LIGHT
An absolutely amazing wood folk art carving of an alpine mountain climber man. The figure is unbelievably completely carved of wood. All hand painted as visible in the detailed photos. Unsure if this was carved in Austria. Germany or Switzerland.and then adapted in the early 20th century with a US electric wiring- or, if this was carved in the USA. No signature. I don't believe this is Anri- this is a different artist carved figure. Unsigned. Such attention to detail.the overall figure made to suspend to replicate mountain climbing in the belt buckle. The hands and fingernails; the face. The detail of the painted black& white wooden feather in his green hat; The lederhosen(leather pants) The"laces" on the side of the pants above the knee; The wooden lantern; The mountain shoes with rugged sole bottoms-and the shoe LACES ... morein bows; the ribbed socks with decoration at the top. This was very well cared for to have lasted this long. I purchased from man who bought it privately. I would date this pre-1950s. The light fixture looks as though it could be from the late 1930s.but. Unsure if the carver simply used an older fixture. What you are seeing is the value of the craftsmanship and the uniqueness of this piece. I do not see any visible breaks or repairs. I notice a slight shine in a very small area under the belt buckle which could be the shimmer of old glue-but. Literally a sheen.no dried glue is visible. Nothing broken or loose whatsoever. The feather slightly moves in place where it goes into the hat. But it is intact. The light fixture works fine. I would advise rewiring it-probably not difficult to do. There is no cover in the area that plugs into the cover(wiring exposed) The switch functions fine. It appears to be a lamp part that was adapted for this figure. Measurements: 14" from tip of hand to other tip of hand. 12" from top of hat to tip of bottom of foot; Lantern: wooden frame 3 3/4" High x 3" wide; 3" deep; lighting fixture at top extends 1 1/2" Please take

1920's Italian Carved Wood Figural Lamp Large Working
Hello. I am offering this Antique hand carved wooden Electric Table Tamp. The lamp is elaborately carved with Faces Etc. The wooden section measures 9" at it's widest 20" high no fin and base is 7 1/2" x 7" total height to harp top 32" no finial. There is nothing missing or broken normal vintage wear. The lamp does work with chain pull with single standard base bulb but like all electrical items one should consider rewiring. I removed the felt and there is an old paper Italy label and some numbers and an old price of 290.00. Great lamp lot of skilled artisans hour went into the making of this one of a kind piece. Thanks. Antique Carved Wood Floor Lamp / Converted Lamppost/Original Etched Glass Globes
This is a beautiful vintage converted wood lamp post from the 40's! The wood is hand carved and the glass globes are etched! All original and very well preserved! There are a few scratches on the base to make it appear normal. It was purchased in Chicago and said to be in the home of al capone! I have had it in a non smoking environment for over 30 years. The beautifully sculptured wood has been preserved with a coating to keep it looking very high end and natural. The globes have never been broken scratched or repaired! The lamp has a replaced cord with hand on/off switch. It is approx 12' tall and weighs about 80 lbs. Shipping would be possible but very costly-approx $200.00 or more. Vintage arts and crafts carved wood lamp with wooden shade artist signed
This is a very nice vintage arts and crafts carved wood lamp with a matching wood shade. The lamp is 13-1/4in tall with the shade on and 6in from front to back by 4in across. The lamp works and the cord is good. The base is signed but I have no clue what the name is. There are no splits in the wood and the shade is in great condition also.

Vintage "PAIR OF 2"Africa African Carved Wood Figures Head Tribal *BOOKENDS 15"H
These are 13" each. I was told these are very old.possibly early 1900's or earlier. They are carved into a dark hard wood that's very heavy. They both have wire around their necks. They have moderate age to them botg. There are many chips of the black finish that have come off. There is some kind of metal rod through the ear area of each statue. I don't know if it's just for reinforcement or if there was another purpose. There is also a zigzag pattern down the front of the foreheads.shown in last photo
