antique gas lamp now electric carmel slag glass mid east design shade 21 inch
nice old table lamp that at one time was a gas light the fitting was removed so wire could be run for electric but is still with the lamp. it is 21 inch high. the shade is 12 inch across and 7 1/2 inch deep. there is paint wear as you can see on photos cannot list every single little flake of paint but overall lamp is real nice looking. there is one side of the shade that has defect in pattern worn away or imperfect metal mold the crescent on the top of the dome building is missing if you look at the shade images you will be able to see it otherwise the metal framework is all good as is the base good and strong. I was not able to find manufacture marks anywhere.

Antique Stained Glass Carmel Slag Lamp Marked Bradley & Hubbard Metal Overlay
This beautiful antique stained slag glass lamp is made by Bradley Hubbard mfg. Co. which is marked the on bottom of metal stand[see photo] The wiring looks to have been replaced with a new cord. Which is 8 feet long and a new one bulb socket in good working condition. But with all electrical devices, please examine carefully before using especially after shipment. There are 8 slag glass[opaque glass with colored streaks and swirls of cream white running through the poured glass sheet] panels with warm caramel browns. Yellows and touch of red tones. There are no cracks to the glass. Most of the clips that hold the glass panels are in place and secure with a few clips missing. This could indicate that some of the glass panels could have been replace or worked on at one time. There is a cute Victorian. Art Deco? flower pattern metal overlay ... morearound the bottom exterior of shade but some of the filigree is missing as seen in photos. The base has some minor surface imperfections but not that noticeable. The lamp measures 22" from top of shade to bottom of stand. The stand is 14" high. Base 7" wide, arms 16" wide. The shade is 8" high, 16" wide. This lamp when light in a dim room looks warm and inviting. In good working condition.

The Base has been rewired for safety with a very high end quality rayon gold cloth cord that is appropriate to it's traditional look. Retains it's original Bryant Socket& Has nice aged patina to the Metal. This Lamp is in Excellent condition. Measures. 16.25" tall with Shade attached. So striking! Beautiful carmel swirl slag glass curved panels with a leaf and floral metal overlay lamp shade. 19.5" 8 panels, 6.5" tall, the base has eight slag panels with a Gothic church design, interior light inside the base with a off and on switch, total height 23" unsigned, heavy over twenty one pounds. Needs restoring and sold as found, all the slag glass is intact, no chips or cracks, just normal manufacture inclusions on the glass, this is a things that needs to be done to bring this spectacular lamp back to life, which I should have done myself but will leave it up to the new owner. The shade has a few(three) rods that need to be ... moresolder back on, one was redone but not the greatest job. The base needs to be rewired, would not even tempt to plug it in, the top two light socket are missing and the top lamp shade plate doesn't let the shade rest on the lip, does work because the shade is so heavy but you may want to replace it. Beautiful antique victorian 28" table lamp early 1900s* This stunning victorian table lamp was my great grandmothers. The shade is metal filigree with 6 carmel color bent varigated slag glass panels. I do know that three were replacements many years ago- please see photos of inside of shade. The shade measures 16" wide and 10" high. The coloration is deeper than the pictures show it to be. The lamp stands 28" from the bottom to the top of the finial. The lamp has been rewired recently with its original double porcelain and brass fatboy sockets and its original bakelite plug. Rainaud? Antique Art Nouveau 8 Panel Carmel Slag Glass Lamp Turtle Shell Shape
Beautiful. Antique, double socket, caramel colored slag glass, turtle shell shaped dome/shade table lamp. The base is a heavy metal. Probably cast iron. It has an intricately detailed ornate pattern throughout including painted leaves toward the bottom. There is some paint wear present throughout the base. The round base measures about 6 1/2" in diameter and 21" tall. The shade measures 3-1/2" diameter at the top and sits on the round finial base piece. This part is slightly out of round and does not seat properly. It measures 18-1/2 x 16-1/2" at the bottom and is more of a turtle shell shape than round at the bottom. There are 8 panels of caramel colored. Curved slag glass. The glass pieces are all intact without breaks, cracks, chips or fleabites. The shade metal I believe to be aluminum. There is no corrosion on it ... moreand it appears somewhat pliable. There are a few places in the metal that are broken and where paint has been marred off showing a silver color but it’s not“green” like it would be if it were copper. Pull chains on the sockets easily click on and off. These function properly. I believe one to be original and one to be a replacement. The cord is original and not frayed. The only marking I can find is the#1 on the bottom of the base. I believe it to be Rainaud because I have seen this pattern attributed to them and dated 1916-1930. If the 1 on the bottom indicates the mold number. It would be earlier rather than later. This has been stored in a box wrapped in newspaper for 34 years as the newsprint shows a date of 1980. This beautiful lamp would make a great addition to any lighting collection or a great lamp to use. Please refer to the photos. For the best details enlarge the photos to show the broken leaves.
