Antique Caramel & Multi Color Slag Glass 16 Panel Table Lamp
Antique Caramel and Multi colored Slag Glass 16 panel table lamp. Lamp measures approximately 22" tall with shade. One of the large glass panels is broken and one of the small glass panels is partially broken. The broken pieces for the large glass panel come with the lamp. I do not know how complete the pieces and if they fit properly. There are no glass pieces for the small glass panel. This lamp is working and looks like it was re wired not too long ago and has new bulb sockets. There is normal wear on lamp body from age. But i did not see any damage or breaks to the metal work on the shade or the base of lamp. I don't know if all the Slag glass panels are original. Lamp is from old estate.

Looks great when high lighted against the caramel glass in a dim room. I have taken a number of pics in dim light to show this off. The base is solid and heavy to support the large shade. Although unmarked it is probably a Pittsburgh lamp. This is for a Beautiful Antique 8 Panel Ornate Victorian Caramel Slag Glass Lamp. The 8 original caramel glass panels are all without chips. cracks or repairs and really gives off a warm glow. All tabs are present. The frame is solid without splits. The filigree is all present and without damage. The wiring appears to have been redone in the 50's or 60's and works well. Both sockets work flawlessly. One socket was replaced. The lamp is just as found from a Southeastern Wisconsin Estate and could use a thorough cleaning. The patina is a copper/gold color from years of use. There are small hints of wear here and there. But nothing major. This large lamp stands just under 25 inches tall, the shade is 19 inches in diameter from point to point or 17 1/2 inches from flat to flat and 8 inches deep. An old original caramel slag glass lamp ceiling hanging lamp or you can use it as a lamp shade by removing the inner hardware. Currently there is a socket for standard light bulbs to screw into. And housing to mount an internal bulb shade or cover, and there are the chain links and the three wires to connect to however you wish to connect it, via wire nuts, electrical tape or by adding a new cord, etc. There are two of the large curved glass that have been cracked, one of them is un-noticeable almost invisible and the other is visible but still in tact, I feel that it gives it character. This is a gorgeous antique polychrome arts and crafts style lamp with art nouveau inspired tendrilous floral pattern around the bottom of the shade and 8 boldly marbled caramel slag glass panels. The lamp base seems to be spelter with elegant floral and leaf patterns and a bronze colored finish with gold accents. There is a matching cap and large floral finial on top. The light cluster has are two working pull chain sockets. Both of which are newer replacements, and there is new wiring throughout. The overall condition is very good. There is some scuffing and worn spots on the polychrome finish and there are a few areas that were touched up. But they are not obvious. All of the glass panels are complete with no cracks or large chips, but there are a few small chips on the edge of one panel close to the clasp that holds it in place, but they ... moreare not visible from the outside. Nothing is broken or missing, and the lamp in its entirety is sturdy, straight, and solid. The finish, fit, and materials used on the shade and lamp match, so I believe they are an original pair. Up for auction is a very Unique Vintage One-of-a-Kind Slag Glass Cheetah Table Lamp. I believe the black is cast iron as it is very heavy. The Slag glass is beautiful Caramel. Orange and White and when it is all lit up, it glows. The maker is unknown as I do not see any markings. There is one area of the Cheetah's spot missing on the Cheetah's Hindquarter, but since it is at the back of the lamp, it is not noticeable. It can be fixed very easily. This is not a leaded glass it is all metal framed and tab joined none of the joints are lose at all its a very sturdy piece of craftsmanship. This heavy bronze lamp and huge 20" diameter curved slag glass shade is in the Art Nouveau style which dates it to around 1900. The lamp has been rewired with new sockets. There are no cracks or chips in the shade. Only natural factory flaws. Some brass tabs that the hold glass panels have been replaced. There is some light soil residue in crevasses of the design on the lamp base which I have not tried to remove. Finial is missing and the top plate is bent. A very fine antique. Circa 1900, bronzed white metal adjustable desk lamp. The base has an Art Nouveau design of flowers, the grill of the shade frame both sides with stylized florals. The shade has two original caramel slag glass panels. It is in working order with new cord and plug, switch pull chain. Measures 14-1/2" tall, the base 5-3/4" wide by 7-1/2" deep, the shade 8" wide by 4-1/2" tall by 5" deep. Very good plus condition: original bronze finish with gilt accents, some minor peel to finish on base. Metal without dents or breaks, both adjustment keys tighten without slipping. This has a wonderful inverted heart filigree design and a warm amber slag glass. It is ALL ORIGINAL and in very nice condition. The lamp is an excellent medium size. Perfect for any room. It measures 24" high, 12" per side, and the base is 5.5" across. It takes one normal size light bulb. There are a few minor condition issues that are only noticeable on close inspection. Once of the corners of the slag glass has a crack. But is mostly behind the filigree and can not really be seen. Also, on one side the filigree is slightly separated along the center seam. Finally this has the original wiring which works fine but the fabric is frayed on one section. Please see pictures for details of condition.

Made by and signed Rainaud. The fabulous antique Lamp has an 8 Panel Bent Caramel Glass Shade(probably by Miller) The antique Lamp has a Cast Iron Base with a Spelter"stem" that have a brown finish. The lamp's base is signed Rainaud 1117 along with a cast iron weight that is signed EM&Co. along with the number 1077. The working lamp has 2 sockets with on/off pull chains. The shade with 8 caramel slag panels are mounted in a lovely metal"frame" that is not signed that I can find. Both Rainaud Co. and Edward Miller Co. were in Meridan, Conn. Rainaud was in business from 1916- 1930. The wiring has been checked and was probably re-wired sometime in the last 30 or 40 years. A great classic design slag glass lamp with 8 caramel bent glass panels. The filagre work on the shade frame has a bell flower border accented with Roman urns and foliage. There is a gold finish with some areas highlighted in blue. Green and red. Shade is 16" wide and 7" tall and weighs over 10 lbs. The heavy cast metal base is signed H. Abest Lamp Co, Chicago, Illinois. The lamp is in very good original condition. The paint has some chips and there is a split in the socket as photoed. There is a slight roughness to the base at bottom edge. No damage to glass. Dimensions overall are 22.5" tall by 16" wide. This will have to be shipped UPS in two boxes to assure safe delivery. We proudly present to you this incredible bent panel slag glass lamp. The lamp features eight bent panels of swirled cream and caramel colored glass with a bronze toned metal overlay in a floral pattern. The base is a bronze tone metal with remnants of gilt accents. There is some wear to the finish on the bronze-tone base. The base has gorgeous raised designs of various scrolling patterns. The base weighs 9 pounds 13 ounces and measures 23 1/4" high x 7 1/2" diameter base. The shade weighs 11 pounds 14 ounces and measures 18 1/2" wide by 8" high. The wiring is good. ANTIQUE SLAG GLASS HANGING LAMP BRONZE WITH CREAM & CARAMEL SWIRLS *MUST SEE!*
This is a bronze framed hanging lamp with panes of leaded glass that are cream and caramel swirled. The detail on the metal work is shown well in the pictures and it looks outstanding. In the pictures you can also see the small pieces of amber/orange glass that hang between each of the main panes of glass and a white globe that hangs underneath the shade to soften the light even further. The lamp is roughly 18" wide. 12" from top to bottom, and the globe is about 8" in diameter. Nice size but not going to overwhelm any living space. We did have to replace the cord because the old one was in terrible shape and didn't have a plug. While replacing the cord. We also installed a new chain so that it is ready to go right out of the box. We will package all of the original hardware along with the lamp in case you want to do some ... morerestoration work on it as well. Also, upon close inspection there are a couple of very small scratches on one of the main panes but it is not noticeable from even more than 2-3 feet away. Beyond that, there are no cracks or major issues with this lamp at all. This item is extremely fragile and extra care can and will be taken when packaging and shipping. It will come in an over-sized box so we can give plenty of room on every side which will allow us to go crazy with bubble wrap. Foam insulation, and packing paper. Due to this, the shipping cost will be fairly high. That said, once you pull this beauty out of the box and get it hanging in your home.you will know why we took the care and expense to do it this way.
