Acquired many years ago from an elderly gentleman who indicated that this was a lamp and had fallen off a table and the tube arrangement that concealed the cord broke off(you can see the hole where the tube was attached) He also said there had been an Arabi an man in a chair mounted on the carpet(you can see where parts were soldered) He had lost or thrown out the parts and this is what remained. You can see a chest with a scimitar and also a moorish style table with bottle type container. The base is not completely level and may have been bent a little when dropped. Antique Art Deco Bronze Woman Lamp with Marble Base and Art Glass Shade
This lamp has been sitting in my grandmother's home ever since purchased in the 1930's and has sat in a niche in her stairwell for as long as I can remember. Now I inherited it. Had it rewired. The original cloth wiring was in bad shape. It has its original, very delicate glass shade which is held on by two screws(as seen in pictures) Lamp is fragile and glass is only held on by the two screws. It is in wonderful condition for its age. It was purchased in France and it is French in origin. I have yet to see another one like it. Lamp is 15" tall by 7" wide by 7" deep. No manufacturing marks found. Two tone bronze patinas. Base is yellow bronze casting the upper classical urn body is a dark liver patina. I took the base apart looking for identifying larks and showed interior in photos. Light sockets work with original wiring and toggles. this is a slag lamp base from the 1920's sturdy enough to hold a very large slag glass canapy. Only one defect is minor dent in the shadows of side that I backlighted to exaggerate for you to see better. It is not noticable. Found in North Crown Heights. Brooklyn Historic district.

Antique Victorian Adjustable Bridge Arm Bronze Brass Table Lamp Marble Base
This is a heavy antique Victorian adjustable bridge arm bronze or brass marble base table lamp. I would date it early 1900s. It's a very cool. Classy looking lamp. It measures 30 3/4 inches tall including the marble base(78 cm) The marble base is 1 1/8 inches thick and 6 inches wide in both directions(2.86 cm x 15.24cm) The arm measures 10 inches from the main rod to the shade holder(25.4 cm) It's adjustable on the main rod to bring the light higher and lower. And adjustable next to the socket to move the socket up or down. It may have been a banker's lamp with a green shade originally. That would look great. As you can see from the photos. It MUST be rewired. There is a chip on the corner of the marble which measures approximately 1 inch wide by 1/4 inch high(2.54 cm by.64 cm) And a couple of other tiny flecks. A beautiful brass/bronze table lamp in the French Regency style. Heavy and ornate. It sits on a salmon colored marble base with 4 dolphin feet. All metal parts are non-magnetic. The body of the lamp is an urn with an ornate floral design on both the front and the back. The urn has two Greek Key handles. Measuring 7-1/2” from handle to handle. Above the urn is a brass column holding a plastic candle sleeve and ending in Levinton double sockets with pull chains. The rectangular marble base has a center brass medallion decorated with scrolls and an Acanthus leaf. The numbers 3. 10, 5, 4, and 7 have been scratched into the underside ... moreof the marble. The tall dolphin legs(3-1/2” high) are brass. The lamp is unmarked and age is not known; however. It is extremely well-made with fine craftsmanship. A fabulous estate find. It was described as antique French brass. The condition is great antique or vintage. In working order with very few issues. The brass does show some imperfections here and there. But it has not been cleaned. There are no dents or dings. The right corner of the marble on the base has been repaired and looks to be expertly done with no rough edges(photos#7 and#9) There is one small dark spot on the top of the marble by the brass connector(photo#9) There is a wear spot(photo#10) on one of the handles on the urn. A very nice antique. Circa 1920's, bronze base boudoir lamp with antique leaded slag glass shade. The lamp base is probably made by Handel, although the shape of the base, and the shade cap, are not pictured in either of the two major reference books on Handel. The shade is probably not by Handel. As presented the lamp measures 15" tall by 5" bottom diameter. The shade measures 4" tall by 5" diameter, the top opening 2-1/4" diameter. It is in working order with original socket, new cord, old plug. Excellent condition: bronze base without dents, original even patina without verdigris. The shade is without damage, secure leadings.

Antique Porcelain Lamp. Lovely Hand Painted Roses, Marble Base& Bronze Hardware Old vintage. Most probably antique, hand painted floral porcelain marble base and bronze hardware. Rewired with a switch change, but not recently. Transitional style of the upper porcelain section is reminiscent of the oil tank on a Victorian oil lamp which was common with very early electric lamps. There are a couple of scratches to the floral paint, but overall the lamp is in very good condition and the roses are still very beautiful. This lamp would make a great addition to your Victorian décor, home or B&B. Very collectable and authentic 19th or early 20th century.

17 in. Tall shade at base is 10 1/2. base of lamp is 5 3/4.this is a beautiful antique lamp.It is all original only thing not is the cord rewired. Quite a few years ago. The shade is slightly parted on one seam, see photos. There is a small chip inside see pics 1/8 in. The base is all bronze with a rich green toned patina, all pull switch and socket appear to be original. The shade is a white metal. All glass is original and matching as I believe is the finneal. Antique Bronze Lamp Base Louis Majorelle ? Twisted Tree Trunk 3 Leaf Clovers
Note: I'm not an expert in this area but was told that this lamp base possibly could have been an early piece by Louis Majorelle.I was told 3 Leaf Clovers or symbols were a hallmark of his and the Details of the lamp point to his earlier work.Although I have made no attempt to clean the lamp and it has a very old patina I was also told the'Gold Wash' was probably alot brighter and more pronounced originally.Bid on what you see- personally I don't think the photos do it justice.and if not by Louis Majorelle- it certainly is still a stunning Antique Art Nouveau Lamp- with the right shades it would be stunning.No Reserve Auction. Up for auction is an antique porcelain and brass oil lamp base recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It is offered in as found condition with a chunk taken out of the pedestal form base, best seen in photo#6. It is signed on the base, but I cannot make it out. It has a Meissen style quality. This oil lamp measures approximately 4 1/2" tall with a base measuring approximately 2 3/8" x 2 3/8" in size. One side has a woman in a garden setting with houses in the background. I've found this lamp in my attic 35 years ago. My home was built in the 1800's.We decided to sell it as I haven't had time to do the research, hopefully a collector out there will know. It looks to be cast out of either bronze or brass and the part with the erotic figures looks to be pewter that was hand painted. When we discovered it in the attic it had the first type of old knob and tube wiring on it that had the end cut off, that's probably why the original owners stored it in the attic. This is a beautiful art piece for someone to restore and display with your antique collections. It looks like Roman figures in different form around the urn part of the lamp. We have here a rare and hard to find authentic, WILKINSON LEADED STAINED GLASS LAMP on a Wilkinson base, which is signed with a number on the bottom. The number is a little hard to make out and might be 308, 309. Wilkinson uses 5 normally so it might be 508 or 509. This BEAUTIFUL Lamp is a stunner, BOTH ON and OFF as with leaded glass lamps, it's all about the color and this has GREAT COLORS& TEXTURE! I have seen this shade with this same floral pattern but not with these colors; and if you like BLUES& GREENS, PINKS& GOLDEN YELLOW ORANGE, this is for you. The choice of glass is OUTSTANDING. There is great coloration and excellent use of glass selected for TEXTURE, such as RIPPLE, slag, striated, swirling, marble& mottled glass, all expertly selected in the making ... moreof this shade. The shade is about 18.5 inches across x 8 3/8' tall. This is the known factory size, and it goes to show that this was never repaired. The height of the HEAVY library base is about 27' to the top of the ball finial. The shade is unsigned, which is normal and to be expected; but this is a known, fully DOCUMENTED LAMP made by Wilkinson Company in Brooklyn, New York, between 1907 and 1915. Rare Gilt Bronze Art Nouveau Style Lamp Base Attributed To Edward Colonna
For sale is an outstanding gilt bronze Art Nouveau lamp base attributed to the renown designer Edward Collona. We do not see a mark on it but have not taken it apart from its marble base. This is certainly in the manner. Style, and period in which he designed. It is also very similar to many of his other Art Nouveau style lamp bases. This base is gilt bronze and in overall good condition. There is age appropriate gilt loss/ tarnish but it still shows beautifully. It is affixed to a marble base which looks to be made specifically for this lamp base. The lamp is in excellent working condition. It still lights just fine. Of course we suggest re-wiring this to modern electrical code requirements. We can't say enough about how beautiful this lamp is. It would look stunning in a Tiffany. Loetz, Quezal, etc lamp shade. It has gorgeous flowing ... morelines and the classic Art Nouveau look of the period. We are unsure if there is a finial screw that screws on to the threads. There are two screws. Dark Burgundy Red Porcelain Rose Table Lamp, Bronze / Brass Base Lamps
This is an unusual porcelain table lamp with a pillar style neck and glass globe fitter at the top. It has a lovely burgundy colored porcelain body with a ginger jar shape. On the front is a pretty flower bouquet outlined in gold trim. Atop the porcelain is a brass pillar decorated with spiraling leaves and scrollwork which leads to the fixture that has a fitter for a glass globe instead of the more typical harp/lampshade design. The lamp rests on a footed brass base. This lamp is in good condition with heavy patina on the neck. Less so on the base. There is some tarnish underneath the base as well, not much though. There are no cracks, chips or crazing on the porcelain. We did replace the socket in the lamp as the previous one was not responding reliably to the knob position. The cord seems to be in good shape. This is an all original Emeralite Desk Lamp# 7 by H. G. McFADDIN& CO. 40 Warren St, New York Four Periods Of Production Of The Emeralites. Bellova& Emeralite lamps were the creation of Harrison G.McFaddin. It was in 1909 that the first Emeralite lamp. As we know it today, was produced. On May 11, 1909 McFaddin's patent application for a new, original and ornamental design for lamp shades, were approved. Thus began the manufacture of Emeralite and Bellova lamp's that were to continue for fifty years. The production of Emeralite desk lamps over the years can readily be divided into four distinct period's. The first period began in 1909 and lasted until 1916 and is known as the 4378 series. STUNNING ANTIQUE GREEN SLAG GLASS LAMP WITH BRONZE BASE
Stunning antique green slag glass lamp shade with bronze base. Both pieces are quite heavy for it's size. The base reminds me of a tree trunk. The shade has 6 panels and the bronze has a nice patina. The lamp is about 8" tall and 5" across the shade. The leading is intact. I cannot find a manufacturer mark on the base or shade. It has been engraved BC78 and I assume it was a gift to some one. The wiring has been replaced with an inline switch.

Offered for your consideration is this beautiful bronze(I think) lamp base. It was an estate find. They also had slag shades sold seperately. I think one may have gone to this now that I think about it. The glass on each was partially broken. So I did not buy them(regretting that now) The base stands about 15" tall without the top part connected. With the top part that is pictured connected, it stands approximately 23 1/4" I am not experienced with the knowing the difference between copper, bronze, and brass, so I looked it up. I think this is bronze but does seem to have a brass look to it too. Especially on the inside underneath. It is pretty heavy as well. There is no maker's mark except on the socket it has an H8H and on the other side of the 250 in the middle there is some sort of symbol. I am uncertain who made this but ... moreit looks like the era mentioned in the title. Maybe art deco or nouveau. I'm thinking the earlier of the two. Reed & Barton Bronze / Brass Snake Lamp Base for Tiffany style leaded shade
Outrageous Reed& Barton lamp base in either Brass or Bronze. Greenish patina worn through to a beautiful brass/ bronze. It stands on 3 feet composed of entwined snakes. Each snake holds its tail in its mouth! Floral embossed decoration throughout. Signed underneath one foot. Reed& Barton 525. At the top is a single socket that appears to be original to the base but I can't detect any identification. The socket sits on a platform that accepts and locks to a collar which in turn has 3 wires. At one time. The wires were soldered to a rim which supported a leaded Tiffany/ Handel style shade. As an alternative installation, this collar could be discarded and a blown glass shade of appropriate proportions could be used, it would look terrific. Signed Le Verrier ART DECO Bronze MONKEY LAMP c1925 "Pluie" Marble Base
The story goes that sculptor Max Le Verrier wandered into the Jardin des Plantes in Paris and found himself in front of the cages. One of which held Boubou the chimpanzee. A friendship ensued during which Le Verrier immortalized his friend. The finished product was a lamp subsequently named"Pluie" rain) Its shade was made of frosted French glass in the shape of an umbrella. Boubou the chimp is solid bronze and sits on a marble base which is inscribed with the signature of Le Verrier. The lamp measures approximately 18" high x 11 1/4" in diameter. Pluie" won an important medal at the 1927 Humorist Exhibition in France and is the epitome of Art Deco. This lamp has been authenticated by two different appraisers. This is a gorgeous unique antique floor/table tall lamp. The Asian-style base is made of brass(may be bronze? metal with 2 dragon figures on the sides(possibly eating/swallowing birds/chicken) and dog the guardian figure on the top(underneath the bulb socket) birds and flower blossoms as well as plants are carved into the metal. Antique Art Deco Bronze Warrior Soldier Military Commander Lamp Base Estate Find
Up for consideration is an Antique Bronze Warrior Soldier Military Commander Lamp Base carrying a torch(where the light bulb might screw in) Mounted on his helmet is some kind of bird or mythological creature with a beak and a tail that goes down to his shoulders. He is fully clothed in battle attire with an unicorn on his chest. A cape on his back, and ax on his side attached to his belt along with high military boots. This statue purchased at a local NJ estate sale from a women who told me she inherited the piece from her grandfather. At the bottom of the sculptures there is a hole where a wire might have gone in and or where it could have been mounted. I have not tried to clean this item up at all and is being sold in"as is" condition. The white you see on the bronze is just the dust/dirt that is visible when the flash goes off ... moreand is not visible like that to the naked eye. Up for sale is a Vintage Bronze Handel Lamp Signed Art Nouveau Design Base Only. There is no shade. Lamp is approx. 14 3/8 inches tall with ball finial. It is approx. 5 3/8 inches across base. Lamp has been rewired And works well. Comes with all original parts except cord. There are no cracks or damage to metal. The felt pad had been trimmed a little. This still has label. Felt base will need to be tacked back on. Lamp has a wonderful patina. I have not cleaned it is as found. Great old Lamp Guaranteed old.

Antique 1917 Verdelite lamp. Bronze colored. Very heavy. I do believe it has the original cord. This lamp works. The pull chain will turn it off& on. The lamp shows signs of wear but not bad for its age. The middle section is a little wobbly. I think it could be tightened. I did not want to take off the original green felt on the bottom. Fabulous Antique Figural Birds Lamp Base For Slag Leaded Glass Shades Bronze Ish
Up for sale is this fabulous antique lamp base. Featuring a pair of long necked birds(I believe cranes? on either side. Wonderful detail work, the lamp has a bronze finish, I don't think it is solid bronze, but it is quite heavy and does not attract a magnet. I believe the top hardware is replaced, but both pulls are working smoothly. You will need hardware to attach a shade. There are no cracks, or breaks. You can see the mold line running through the feathers toward the bottom, and there is some finish wear, including a spot that looks like a paint drip. This a fabulous and extremely rare form, unfortunately it is not signed to identify a maker, but it was definitely done in the era of Tiffany, Handel, Pittsburgh and the other fine makers of that time. Antique handpainted french porcelain vase lamp bronze base see photos
Beautiful antique 19th century French handpainted couple on a fine porcelian vase that was made into a elegant table lamp. The fine bronze base resembles a pinapple pattern but more refined. The courting couple are meticulously painted in 17th century clothing. The vase is beautifully painted in light blue with a magenta floral motif with gold trim. See photos. Everything works. Came from a very fine estate. Has a nice velvet bottom to protect your furniture. No chips or cracks just normal wear to the top two metal pieces. Base and vase are in exceptional condition. Wiring is in very good shape and has a nice three way turning switch knob that works perfectly. The base measures 5.75" wide. The vase measures 15" from bottom of base to top of vase. Antique Victorian Bronze and Satin Glass Oil Lamp Base, Beautiful Shell Design
Beautiful antique bronze and satin glass oil lamp base with shell design. This lamp has a very nice patina and is in excellent condition. Brass band just above the bronze base has a crack as illustrated in photograph. Lamp does not have an oil burner but will come with an electrical conversion which may be discarded and an oil burner attached. Base has no modifications. Lamp measures 8" in height to the base of the burner attachment and 5" wide. Lamp is 10 3/4" tall if electric conversion is used.
