this is a very rare antique copper and brass converted oil lamp. it has exquisite ornate victorian design. With very intense detailing. it has highly embossed copper designs that run around the base of the lamp. it has beautiful trim. Base and feet. the upper oil container is a large insert. That sits recessed in the base. it was converted to be electric and works great. it can be converted back if desired, it has an on/ off switch on the base. it is in great shape and has a nice patina from age. it measures 12 3/4 x 11 inches. very rare lamp. This is a very large antique early 1900's gold gilded brass. Iron, and marble electric table lamp. it is very ornate with a wonderful Victorian style. the base is very heavy and made from a double tiered black marble. It has nice color and veining. right above the gold gilded base is made from iron and has a brass shaft. it holds three dripping candle shaped sockets and an adjustable lamp shade shaft. it is also topped with a nice gold gilded finial. there is an on/off switch located right in-between the arms. it has a nice patina from age measuring 29 3/4 inches tall by 7 inches wide. in nice working shape. Not much is known about this lamp. It does have some numbers underneath but I can't make them all out. It has1 Japan man& 2 Japan women pictured twice around the globe. This can be taken apart and made into a vase. Picture 3 is the bottom half lit up. I believe a lot of this to be brass plated and it needs an over haul on it. The upper portion as seen in picture 4 has holes to hang tear drop prisms or tassels. you can purchase these on line) No lamp shade. The shade holder is still intact.I do NOT have the shade for it(you can easily replace it.just look here in eBay! From the base to the top of the little ball on top of the stem it stands 16 3/4" high. The base has a diameter of 7 1/2" It has the original patina to it. The lamp stands 23 3/4" tall at the lowest setting and adjust to 33 1/4" at the highest. The spun brass shade is 5 1/2" in diameter and has flat black painted finish. The"PAISTE" socket accepts a standard base bulb(bulb not included) The wiring is new cloth covered 18 gauge wire with an old fashioned two prong plug. Neat Pair of Art Deco SATURN Table Lamps. Made of some sort of metal i don't really know what kind. Maybe brass? The Have metal wire spoke design on the bottom base part and a neat planet saturn Design on top. Both come with matching Art Deco Retro Speckled shades which look to be original. The shades are an off white/ beige color made of a thick paper with white and black splatter design and black trim. Both have some patina and spotting from age and one has a tiny little dent in the bottom of the metal where the cord comes out in the back. Very nice 23" tall Brass Lion lamp is nice a heavy and built to last. Featuring a 12" tall Brass Lion resting on a wooden pedestal. The lamp was recently acquired at an estate sale in a nice suburb of St.Louis last week. The owner claimed to have paid greatly for it. I believe it. Very nice piece. The lamp is in good working order but needs a thumb cap for the switch. This can be had at local hardware stored for under $1. Slag-stained glass and metal shade in great condition. No crack, chips or breaks that I can find. Some imperfections in the metal as shown. The lamp is 17" tall at the highest setting and has a 5 3/4" diameter cast iron weighted base. The"HUBBELL" reflector is 5" long x 3 1/2" wide.
