Antique Duplex banquet Parlor Piano Brass Lamp oil Cast Iron Floor satin shade
I have lots of vintage lighting items listed and more added all the time. This is a great lamp with a beautiful satin glass shade and the shade has no chips or cracks it will have wear and some ring roughness that they all have. The outer shade does have the original brass ring at the top which the inner shade sticks up through. This like most of these has been electrified so you can safely use it today. Some people do convert these back to oil burning and you would have to replace a few pieces to do that but not that hard you can buy the burners and parts on ebay. This has normal wear you would expect but for being from the late 1800s is fantastic and has very cool claw feet on the base. The inner clear glass sahde may not be the original I really don't know it's just clear glass so who knows the outer shade is old you can easily ... moretell its age. This listing is for a beautiful banker's style desk lamp with gorgeous black glass shade and black marble and brass base. I believe the marble on the base is real as lamp is very heavy at 4.5 lbs. But the marble on the column feels faux, but I could be wrong. I believe the brass is also real as magnets do not stick to it. Black glass shade is intact and is not broken and it has no chips or cracks. The brass base is tarnished and could use a polishing. I will leave that to the new owner. For your consideration, RARE" Original late 19th or early 20th Century American Table or Desk Lamp. No makers mark found. Socket looks to be a 3rd generation GECo. Has Pat September 25, 90 stamped on the brass ring. Cord& glass shade look to be period correct. The plug appears to be a new replica replacement. Glass shade does have small chipping spots that you cant see on the top rim where it is attached by the three knurled screws. Adjusts from 13-1/2" tall up to 23" tall. We are selling a VINTAGE SOLID BRASS EXTENSION WALL MOUNT LAMP. This solid brass lamp was made in England. Which is stamped on the cast iron elbow. On the other side of the cast iron elbow is stamped(which the first letter is hard to read) either MALLD, HALLD, or WALLD? This is a very heavy& beautifully made lamp. See Photo) The measurements are as follows: The back square wall plate is approx 5 ¼ inches square. See Photo) There is a black cast iron elbow, which connects the wall plate to the brass square box, which supports the brass extension arm. The brass box allows the brass extension arm to go either left, right, or straight out. My research on this leads me to believe this is a foreign lamp and most likely from France. I believe it to date to the 1860's- 1870's. The brass has a lot of patina and the burner appears to be original. There is no chimney with this auction but you can buy them online for $10- $20. The wheel does spin freely. There is no wick with the lamp. The lamp appears it may have been replastered. Item is 19" tall to top of the burner and the base is 4 1/4" wide. Bid now to add this lamp to your collection. If. Vintage Antique Industrial Machine Age Lamp Adjustable Brass Desk Piano Light
For your consideration is an antique piano lamp with a heavy slate base. The base is 6" square and the lamp is 10" wide and adjust to a total height of 17" The vintage paddle switch socket accepts a standard base bulb(bulb is included) The lamp has cloth covered wiring and an old fashioned two prong plugs. The lamp has a loose arm on one side of the shade and therefore doesn't adjust properly. When you move it you have to reset the shade position.a little goofy but I have priced it accordingly. Has 8 green replaced teardrops that hang from under decorative base. Has glass ball with painted roses. Has glass dome that sets inside the ball. Bottom of shelves marked pat pend 7321* all legs marked 7185* Think was kerosene lamp and converted to electric years ago. Looks like a Bradley and Hubbard to the not expert eye! Cant find any other markings but didn't want to tear into, will leave deciding manufacturer to lamp experts. See no damage to, no breaks. Foot looks tarnished or needs cleaned. Beautiful floor lamp. This is a vintage brass& brass tone piano. Organ, music lamp with a music harp symbol. It also could be used as a table or desk lamp. It is electric and has an adjustable head along with height adjustment. Weighted base quite stable. T ested it using two candelabra light bulbs with a regular size screw in bottom and it worked. It is a manual start lamp with on and off push button on the top of the lamp. There is a push on/off button located on the top of the light. It measures 19" high and 14" across. Aug. 15, 1916, this marvelous desk or piano lamp has an original emerald green glass shade remarkable condition with only a few tiny flakes at the edges, see photos. To reflect light down onto paperwork. The interior of the blown shade was cased with a layer of opaline white glass, the bottom edge was then ground and polished. The shade and the glass diffuser underneath are signed, Czechoslovakia. A hammered and embossed bronze weighted base has a double adjustable angle and just enough wear for antique patina.
