For your consideration is a ultra rare brass FARIES dual arm desk lamp. The weighted base is 5 1/2" in diameter and the lamp stands 22" tall. The 13" arms extend out to a total of 32" wide including the shades. The arms can be adjusted in height. Width as well as pivot with the shades 360 degrees, should you like. The antique milk glass shades are free of chips or cracks but do have straw marks from the manufacturing process. Rare Vintage 1900's Bryant Brass Desk/ Student's/ Jeweler's Industrial Lamp. This lamp is unusual because the socket mechanism rotates in a full circle. Bryant hallmark on the socket. Lamp is 8.5" tall to the tip of the finial on the post. The socket arm adjusts to 11" tall when hyper-extended. base is 5 5/8" in diameter. Weight is 3.75 lbs. Braided cloth cord. Acorn tip pull chain. Shade mount is 2 1/4" in diameter. Lamp was in storage for many years and has not been touched. Cleaned, or polished. Works.

Vintage Antique Signed Faries Industrial Brass Lamp Machine Age Desk Light
For your consideration is a signed brass FARIES flexible shaft bench lamp. The signed Faries weighted base is 5 1/2" in diameter and the lamp stands 25" tall. The lamp retains an old chippy silver painted base that the brass shows through and looks great. The bare steel parabolic shade is 6 1/2" in diameter and has the Faries name embossed. The brass paddle switch socket is a PERKINS and accepts a standard base bulb(bulb not included) The lamp has its original cloth covered wire and an old fashioned two prong plugs. This is a beautiful Brass Floor Lamp Height Adjustable Pivoting Shade Reading Light. I inherited this lamp recently and it is in great shape for the age. The lamp is height adjustable. It pivots left to right to place the shade exactly over the desired piece you are trying to light. There are a few small marks on the base can be seen in images you have to look hard to see them and get the light at just the right angle. In normal day to day life they are not noticeable. Made for home, office or workshop with a revolving reflector/shade to prevent glare. The lamp itself can be put in pretty much any angle from side to side or straight up according to the users need since the arm can be articulated with the dial. The shade can be moved from side to side or down also according to the users needs. The base is 6-1/2" in diameter. The arm is 8" long and the shade is 6-3/4" x 5-1/2" It has a brass finish with a cast iron base. It has at one time been rewired and the wire and cord are in fine condition. This is most likely a unique piece. This lamp is a marriage of a cast iron gooseneck base and neck and what appears to be an Emeralite fixture and unmarked Emeralite shade on the end. The fixture has an"E" on the on/ off knob and is an Eagle fixture that has"UNO" and Pat Dec 24. 12 on it. The shade is very high quality and has ground edges and is quite heavy and has a great glow when the lamp is on. This lamp appears to have been done by someone who was very good at what they do as everything is tight and solid. Fantastic OC White Faries era brass table lamp articulated industrial era
This wonderful old lamp came from a Belmont MA estate. It stands about 23 1/2" tall. The base is about 5" in diameter. The glass shade is about 8" in diameter. The horizontal arm is about 12" long. One of the thumb screws looks to be a replacement. The plug looks original. But the cord is newer. The socket is a Hubell and looks original as does the fitter ring. The petticoat shade is also correct for the period. No chips or cracks. The bulb is an original Edison Mazda from an estate lot I purchased a while back. It has the cool squirrel cage filament. Overall fine condition with some wear and a great old surface. This would polish up beautifully, but I like it original. Thanks for looking.

For your consideration is an early FARIES style(unmarked) adjustable lamp. The cast iron tripod base allows the lamp to set on a flat surface or be hung by the tab leg on the wall. Just above the base(see close up in the last photo) there is solder residue on the brass tubing. There was a small brass decorative but was badly crumpled that I removed. Thus the reason for the silver coloration in this area. The lamp adjust from 17 1/2" 22" in height. The upper section of lamp tubing does have small indentations were the set screw has been set to hold the height. Machine Age/Industrial Brass& Nickel Task Lamp with Opal Glass Shade Antique desk lamp circa 1915. The socket is Circle F manufactured in Trenton. NJ. The UNO shade holder has a patent date of 1912. The lamp is primarily polished brass with a polished nickel spacer near the base and a polished nickel screw to adjust the height of the lamp. The period shade is white opal glass with a nice orange fire when lit. This is an antique cast iron and brass base only for a Lyhne lamp. Typically used by machinists and jewelers. This is heavyweight, nearly three pounds, and very solid. The dates on the bottom are from 1910 and 1911.
