ANTIQUE VINTAGE FRENCH ORMOLU BRASS STUDENT CANDLESTICK CRYSTAL LAMP & SHADES
We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique to older vintage(c1940s) double student lamp. This lovely lamp features French/Parisian styling. It is heavy brass construction with an ormolu, gold gilded finish. The lamp has acanthus leaf and vine pattern with marble base. The marble is white with gray to black veins and has finished, squared ends. A trio of OLD, leaded crystals adorn each decorative bobeche and a fourth dangles on the end of each arm. The candlestick sections are long and provide an elegant touch. The old shades are clip on style. They are silk fabric, pleated, ivory in color and have ivory brocade trim on each end. They are lined as well. This is a lovely. Old lamp with an abundance of charm and timeless style. It is in very good condition with some aging patina to the gilded finish. The shades are very good with one shade ... morehaving a separation of the lining at the top. The lamp operates with two, standard fitting, 25 watt bulbs. We have used shorter bulbs so that the shades fit correctly. The wiring is vintage with a new plug and the lamp is working perfectly. There is an on/off switch on the cord. The lamp measures 17" tall to the sockets and 20.5" tall with the shades attached. It is 11" wide to the bobeches; 12" wide with the shades attached. The base is 4" squared. It's just under 14" at pictured. The glass shaft has chips were it connects to the base as in the photos. The mirror has a chip as in the photo but it's on the underneath side(don't know how that happens) The top side you feels is not chipped. The mirror has brass candlewick edge and an ornate brass center band. The base is also footed. The lamp works! I purchased this at an estate auction and am uncertain of its age but believe it to be several decades old. ANTIQUE HEAVY CAST BRASS GEORGIAN CANDLESTICK TABLE LAMPS, UNIQUE SHADE BALDWIN?
You are offered this pair of antique lamps. Circa 70 years or older. These are thick. Solid, heavy cast brass. May be old Baldwin, certainly good quality. They are 17“ tall, base is 5 1/2“ square. These appear to have been rewired in past 50 years. They work fine. One lamp has“loose” feel to it’s on off switch. The shades are bowl shaped, a pale orange/ amber color. The glass looks hand blown. The light rises above the shade. There are no makers marks on these. They are well made. The condition of lamps and shades is very good. There are some small dents on the top part of the brass. No deep dents, cracks or chips in lamps or shades. This pair of lamps have a mellowed with age patina overall. Very good looking! French-style Cathedral Candlestick Lamp - solid brass
Offered for sale is a solid brass French-style cathedral candlestick lamp. It measures 22 1/2" tall. From the bottom to the bulb socket top-a shade will add another 12- 15 inches or so. The triangular base measures 8 1/2" at the widest point-from paw foot to paw foot. Each of the three sides has a different raised design-Hebrew letters on one side, the"sacred heart" sign on another, and three cherubs on the third. I believe this piece was originally cast as a lamp, and has not been converted from a candlestick, but I haven't examined it that closely. I'm selling it with no shade or finial, so you can make your own choice on style of each. The current shade doesn't merit the added expense of shipping. I believe it was likely made in France but England is another possibility(any help appreciated) The font and shade are bright green with very nice floral enamel decoration. The font has an acid-etched finish. The lamp has an original continental burner. It fits on a very nice brass candlestick. A proper chimney is included. The lamp measures 21 3/4" to the top of the chimney and 3 1/2" across at the base of the candlestick. There are no markings or other identification. It is in very good estate condition with no damage. Wear or repairs noted. The peg sits just a bit loosely in the holder which is often the case-not a problem but mentioned for accuracy. This listing is for a unique brass candle stick made by A. Barrett& Sons of London. Circa 1860-1870. The cylinder contains a spring which pushes the candle up to maintain an evenly burning candle. There is a crest affixed on the bottom front of the shaft that reads: A. Barrett& Sons. 63& 64 Picadilly, London. There is a crown within the crest above the lettering, and a"W" below the lettering. The crest is worn but still legible. On the base as well as the bottom of the shaft that carries the candle are more advertising and instructions. The bottom of the shaft reads: A. Antique Brass Candlestick Dual Lamp Ducks/Doves Bird/Pond on Paper Shades Japan?
This is really an awesome working lamp(it's been tested and both sticks worked) It has the dual candlesticks and these amazing shades with a pond scene with ducks and doves and marsh plants and stuff. As you can see. It is not in perfect condition- it has some heat wear on the sticks, some nicking; very little tarnish but there is some, particularly on the base and a little bit on the sticks and the trays below the sticks. The shades are pretty much undamaged from what I can see. And the metalwork is pretty awesome on this thing! I don't know where it's from or when- as the title says, it seems to be either from Japan or at least going for a Japanese style, that's what I think when I see the shades. But perhaps the body was crafted in the US and the shades were added later. I don't know, but I do know it's a great ... morelooking piece! Weight is approximately 10 lbs. Shades are 7" tall. 9.5" diameter at base. Candlesticks are also about 7" tall. Lamp is about 20" across and about 2 feet tall; base is about 7" diameter. Overall in very very nice condition. This piece is a larger lamp measuring at 35.5" tall to the finial. 28" tall to the top of the candlesticks, 8" diameter at the base, 9.5" wide, and 10.5" deep. We are pleased to offer this very beautiful. Mid Century, Tell City lamp. The lamp is classically designed in a French Bouillotte style. The lamp features two, faux" candlestick arms with a taller, single, true light source in the center. The lamp is brass with an antiqued brass finish. It retains the original, EXCEPTIONAL, dupioni silk shade as well as the original finial. The shade is oblong and deeply pleated with a heavy plastic lining which supports the fabric. The shade is an antiqued ivory color with brown trim on the top and bottom. The shade fits over the lamp in bouillotte fashion. in that it is a single shade covering all three arms. The is a gorgeous lamp. It is in extremely nice condition with some minor patina to the brass finish. The shade is very nice with no rips, tears, etc. There are no stains to the fabric. This is an antique candlestick telephone converted into a lamp. The lamp works great. I have used it on my desk for over thirty years. It has a nice vintage patina and. Could be polished up, if you desired There is a small plate underneath the mouthpiece that reads“Property of The American Tell and Tel Co. The base reads“Western Electric Company PAT APPD For PAT IN USA Aug 16 04 Sept 13 04. The neck is marked“20 AL” Measuring to the top of the finial this lamp stands about 24” tall and the base is 5 ¼” in diameter. The wiring is in excellent shape and I believe it has been replaced. Antique Brass Candlestick Lamp w/Gorgeous Satin Green Handpainted Fluted Shade
this lamp looks like it has been well used and well repaired when needed. there is a slight tilt in the stem area. i haven't taken it apart to see why that is. the column has been repaired at the seam area as you can see in the photo. the base has the on/off switch. there are some dings in the brass base. it is on a wooden base that is 6 in. wide and 1 in. tall. the total height of the lamp with the shade is 20 in. and without the shade it is 15 in. tall. now the shade is absolutely gorgeous. it is a satin colored green with handpainted gold gilded floral design with 8 sides on the top edging. it is 5 in. tall and 6 5/8 in. wide. the opening end for the socket area is 2 1/4 in. wide. no chips or cracks in the shade. just a few flea bites on the edge that sits on the lamp from age and use.

The wick scissors measure approx 6 3/4 inches(170mm) long. By 2 1/4 inches(55mm) wide. The tray is approx 10 inches(250mm) by 4 inches(100mm) The scissors are spring loaded. 18.5 INCH TALL PAIR OF BRASS SPELTER GOTHIC BAROQUE STYLE CANDLESTICK LAMPS
This listing is for a pair of very old spelter candlesticks that have been converted into lamps. At minimum, over 70 years ago They originally came wired, with one candlestick containing wiring from the 1930's-40s. All wiring has been removed due to their extremely deteriorated state and the dust, grime, and rust that was present when originally found has been removed(to the best of my ability) as well. These are gorgeous candlesticks, and have been retro-fitted with solid brass spacers to provide additional height for lampshades. From what I can tell, these candlesticks were gilded with brass, or some gold-colored plating(please see photo of underside) but age has turned the exterior color almost bronze-like. Expect very heavy patina. Williamsburg Baldwin Brass Cathedral Candlestick Lamps- Pair
Pair of Baldwin Brass Lamps in excellent condition with original Black Shades with gold edging. I bought these in the 1980's and they have been packed for more than 15 years. Shades are in very good condition except for a small dent in both shades in the same place. See picture. Somewhere along the way I lost the felt bottoms but these are Genuine Baldwin. Brass is in excellent condition with rare flaws. These measure 28.5 inches tall and 5 inches across the base. The shade measures 8x14x 10 inches tall. They are the original shades sold with this lamp. I believe you could order ivory cloth shades also at the time. Condition is excellant.
