Pair Art Deco Slip Shades Batwing for Sconces Chandelier Beautiful No Reserve
Here a pair of vintage art deco or art nouveau slipper shades in very nice condition. No cracks or chips. Just some tiny"flea bites" on the mounting edges. They are 4 1/2 inches across at the widest point, which is from tab to tab. Looks like 6 3/8 inches from the start/top of one of the tabs to the bottom of the shade. Overall length is 8 1/2 inches, and it would protrude from the fixture at just under 4 inches. The glass is frosted and is very thick and substantial. If I can answer any questions, let me know. Which is, AWMP CO. 552" and I think that mark is for the metal base part only. Each Lamp body is made of a porcelain or china material, with a flower decoration. I would guess the flowered design bodies were likely made in France, Germany or another European Company. The Lamps came from the estate of the original owner, have been well cared for, and even have the original matching Finials, I am not positive but these hand painted finials are likely made of wood. Blue milk glass Hobnail Lamps Marble Base 13" TALL BEAUTIFUL PAIR
Pair of vintage light blue milk glass? hobnail swirl glass table lamps. The lamps are approximately 13" tall marble base 4" X 4" Both of them work fine. They're pretty much exactly alike but one turns on and the other has a push button, marble base is slightly different pattern. The blue color looks to be under inside of glass slightly irridescent. They have some gold loss on the plastic pieces as shown, very small amount of chips on base. The cord on one of the lamps has 2 lines as shown, doesn't look to be cut possible got to close to something? melted? No wires are showing and it doesn't go to the underside of cord. Pair of small antique accents lamps. I believe Capodimonte or Majolica porcelain with Cherubs. They measure 13" tall to the tops of the clip on shades. They seem to be all original with the exception of the cords and plugs. The sockets are ribbed brass, marked Alpine. The bases are cast metal that are painted gold. The original cloth covered wiring has been spliced onto newer cords under the bases. Both lamps are working and in good condition. They show normal signs of age, though there are no chips or damage. The clip on shades are in good shape, though do show light spots from handling. I have not cleaned the lamps or shades at all. Thanks for looking.
