ANTIQUE MILLER OIL KEROSENE BANQUET LAMP BRASS FONT NEVER ELECTRIFIED
We are very pleased to offer this Edward Miller& Co. Meriden, Conn. Oil or Kerosene Banquet Lamp. Font. This Font has never been electrified and has the original Burner and Shade Holder. It is Brass and. Again, has never been electrified. The Burner is marked on the top of the Flame Spreader with the Miller Logo. The oil filler cap is not marked. The Wick lifter does work and moves easily up and down. Please see the photos that show it in the up position and in the down position. The Font top is highly embossed and in one section is marked: THE MILLER LAMP. On the inside column that holds the flame spreader there are the following Patent Dates; PATD. NOV. 18'90; MAY 29'92; APR. 24'96; JUNE 4'92; APR. 4'93 AND MAY 2'93. 1898 Edward Miller Brass Ornate Banquet Converted Oil Lamp with Fenton Shade
This is an Awesome RARE Find! A 1898 E. M. Co. Apollo Dual Burner" Very Ornate Serpent Footed Oil Lamp that has been Converted to Electric and Matched with a Fenton Milk Glass and Blue Ruffle Edged Hobnail Shade. I researched this and only found the burner itself on Treasurenet. com- its authentic but the crown for the wicks has been burrowed out to include the lighting mechanism and the wick turner as shown in picture#11 is only cosmetic right now. The Apollo Dual Burner Brass Body is beyond Spectacular. The craftsmanship is like none other I have seen. It has 3 serpent feet on Crowned Pillars that attached to a heavily patterned Body that can be turned. Etched deep into the pewter colored Burner Body's Bottom Half are leaves and raised swirls( picture 4) Rims of circular star bursts and in its center, on ALL 3 Sides is a LIONS ... moreHEAD( see picture 5) The Top Half has beautiful circles of raised Leaves and then Spades, set off with ornate rims on the top and bottom of this half of the burner. The actual burner of this 1898 Oil Lamp has been converted to electric- I have taken a detailed picture- 8. That shows the former rims for the oil burner and chimney holder. In the conversion process, an owner added a chain pull to switch the light on and off. This does impede the placement of a chimney as it will cover the pull chain. I have placed a 7 1/2 inch clear chimney inside the GORGEOUS FENTON HOBNAIL Shade. It is a Milk Glass Beauty with widely spaced Hobnails and an Ornate sky blue Turned Down Ruffle Edge with a 4 7/8 inch rimmed bottom that fits nicely into the 5 1/8 inch metal burner rim. This lamp stands approximately 15 1/2 inches tall including the shade and it is 9 inches tall from the serpent feet to the top of the lighting mechanism. It is in wonderful condition. Antique Duplex banquet Parlor Piano Brass Lamp oil Cast Iron Floor satin shade
I have lots of vintage lighting items listed and more added all the time. This is a great lamp with a beautiful satin glass shade and the shade has no chips or cracks it will have wear and some ring roughness that they all have. The outer shade does have the original brass ring at the top which the inner shade sticks up through. This like most of these has been electrified so you can safely use it today. Some people do convert these back to oil burning and you would have to replace a few pieces to do that but not that hard you can buy the burners and parts on ebay. This has normal wear you would expect but for being from the late 1800s is fantastic and has very cool claw feet on the base. The inner clear glass sahde may not be the original I really don't know it's just clear glass so who knows the outer shade is old you can easily ... moretell its age. The lamp will be taken apart for safe shipping and the shade will be double boxed. Shipping to lower 48 only and no overseas. Beautiful antique GWTW Parlor/Banquet/Piano Lamp. The knob on the tank states: MADE IN THE US OF AMERICA Hand painted floral scene with vibrant colors. This was electrified at one time. Measures 25.5" tall to top of chimney. Shade is 10" in diameter, chimney is 12" base is 7.25" sq. Very good condition for age. Does have a couple lighter spots and the very TINY chiggers normally associated with taking the shade and placing it in ring each time bulb is changed. This will look stunning in any decor.

Beautiful Victorian Antique Parlor/Banquet Oil Lamp- Electrified Measures 23" tall with 8.25" base diameter Absolutely gorgeous antique oil lamp that has been electrified at one time. Elegant floral sprigs adorn both sides of the lamp and the base is a nice unique style that I am sure you will love. No chips. Cracks, fractures that I can see. May need a little more cleaning. The cap does come open but the canister that you'd put the oil in does not come out. Just for those who would want to turn it back into an oil lamp. Not sure if that is due to the electrical wiring holding it in or not. Just thought I'd let you know as someone asked that question before. This will make an elegant touch to any decor.

Beautiful Victorian Hinks & Sons Ceramic Oil Banquet Lamp, Original Glass Shade
Beautiful Victorian Hinks and Sons Ceramic Oil Banquet Lamp with Original Acid Etched Glass Shade This lovely Victorian oil/kerosene lamp by Hicks and Sons is all original from its base to its duplex burners to its acid etched. Floral design, glass shade. This example of a vintage English banquet lamp has a commanding, and yet quietly elegant, presence. The lamp stands over 23.5" tall by over 6" wide at the base; the piece is quite substantial and heavy probably due to the heavy ceramic, weighted metal base. The naturalistic, calming colors of blue, green, ochre and cream in the ceramic portion(Doulton? complement the quiet elegance of the acid etched floral glass shade. The ceramic base almost has an arabesque design look to it with some elements of aesthetic(nature) movement. As you can see from the photos, some of the ceramic ... moredesign is raised in certain portions of the motif giving it an embossed, three dimensional look. The middle ceramic component is seated on a footed brass base; the oil font sits down in a brass holder seated in the ceramic portion. The lamp is marked by the makers in the following places: on the brass neck near the two wick turners(Hinks and Son's Patent" on the end of the wick turners(Best British Maker F" with what looks like a sun logo in the middle) on the very bottom of the metal base(Hinks and Son's.468" This lamp is in what I consider excellent to very good condition, especially considering its age and utilitarian purpose. The brass footed base has some indications of age such as darkening and pitting; I could find no cracks, no chips and no imperfect areas in the ceramic portion. The only imperfections in this over 100 year old lamp can be attributed to age and use and are the following: several flakes, tiny chips in the glass in the bottom rim of the glass shade; these flakes cannot be seen while the shade is resting in its brass holder. Rare 1890's Gone with the Wind Banquet Lamp. This is a very hard to find shape of Jumbo Parlor Lamp with matching shade& base. It has the double duplex burner turners. This lamp has amazing metal work. The bottom"Bun" Feet are very store and decorative. The glass is all hand painted and finished with beautiful Leaves& stems with little trails of vines. The shade is a full size large piece. The bottom is a wonderful bulbous shape. The lamp stands 27" tall to the top of the chimney. The base is 17" tall on its own. The shade stands 11" tall and is 10" aprox in dia. There are not chips, cracks or repairs to the glass. Some normal flea bits on the edge of the shade, but not seen. We mention for accuracy, but the shade edge is remarkable as well as the rest of the lamp for its odd large size and age. The ... morelamp has been electrified. Long ago someone put a switch off to the side of the tank. We have left the lamp in"As Found" condition. It has not yet been restored. The cord is an old one. Great old oil lamp shape. 21" tall from base to bottom of harp + 12" harp and original finial. The base measures about 7 1/2" in diameter, the oil vessel is about 6 1/2" D. The top is decorated with embossed flowers and bows, the column is twisted and has stylized leaves embossed into the flat surfaces. The base has a swirling design which flows very nicely from the turning column shape. The lamp has been rewired. It's not entirely clear that it was not designed for electricity. In the time when electricity was new, some lamps were designed to look like the old classics, so they were made to imitate oil and gas lamps. Since there is a hole at the base for a wire and the harp and finial look like they totally belong it could be argued that it was designed that way. The cap where the oil would have been poured in to ... morethe vessel is stationary. However it may have been soldered shut. CONDITION: A few spatters have dotted the patina. The lamp has not been polished or cleaned thus the spatters remain. I believe this lamp is a very early electric lamp in the style of the oil lamps of the time. There are some places that appear to have been modified. But no matter. With a shade that will emphasize its elegance, it will be a lovely addition in the right corner. Antique Cranberry/Ruby & Brass OIL LAMP Banquet/Parlor Electrified 1850-1899
This is a stunning lamp and pictures just don't do it justice but be sure to look at all of them as they are part of this description. This is an oil lamp that has been converted to electricity with the on/off switch on the cord. The center cranberry or ruby glass portion has 1" x 2" panels all around it and sits on top a brass shaft atop a really solid ceramic base. The original knobs on the brass burner both have a sailing ship etched in them. The shade is a frosted globe with a brass looking rim and measures 10" high and 9" in diameter. The shade is the widest part and it stands 29" tall to the top of the chimney. It is extremely heavy. Weighing 8 lbs 7ozs, and will require some special packing and shipping so do not pay until you have received an invoice which includes the correct shipping. Antique large oil gone with the wind lamp with hand painted wine roses. This lamp is 29 inches in height and top globe is 11 inches in diameter. The lamp has a pale yellow background with blue. Highlighted with sprays of roses and greenery and roses. The lamp has never been converted although someone thought about it at some point in time. There is a hole drilled in the decorative base just large enough for an on off switch. The oil tank is still un drilled in the lamp and still has it wick. The top lamp shade has a very small hairline crack at the base where it sits in the fitter end, see last picture in description. Very hard to spot unless you are looking for it. BEAUTIFUL 26" HIGH ANTIQUE BRASS BANQUET OIL LAMP w/ FROSTED GLOBE - ELECTRIFIED
Up for auction is this beautiful all brass banquet 26" high oil lamp that has been converted to electric. The 7" diameter brass bowl has a raised all-around floral casting on top of a rope-turned stem and 7 1/2" four legged scroll base. The removable font has been drilled to allow the electrical wiring to pass thru it and out the side of the bowl where there is also a hole drill. The electrical receptacle takes a 1" bulb insert. The wiring inside the font has been cut so additional wiring is needed to fully electrify the lamp and plug it into a wall outlet. The frosted 7 1/2" diameter glass globe is beautifully etched with crosses and stars completing the lamp. Weighs 4 lbs. before packaging. The lamp has 48 beautiful shimmering crystals circling the chandelier top in which the prisms measure 4" long! One ball crystal is missing but the long crystal is there, and also 2 have chips on the bottom of the long part. The lamp has three arms each with 6 leaf scrolled leaves. The lamp is complete with the original hand painted shade that features lovely wine colored and yellow roses. Such a wonderful piece of history in amazing shape for the age! Shipping may seem high. Antique Green/Pink Hand Painted Peony GWTW Table Hurricane Banquet Oil Kero Lamp
This is a beautifully hand painted floral gone with the wind lamp with peonies on both front and back of top and bottom globes. The top globe has been repaired where it was broken near the top of the front. There is a close-up showing the repair; the seams are not terribly obvious but still slightly visible. And there is a tiny sliver of glass missing. The flowers and the fact that the repair is close to the top make it less obvious. It still looks fantastic and still has the original font, fill cap, and wick knob, but it has been electrified, so the center of the burner has been replaced with a light socket. It looks like the electrification occurred long ago and the socket and cord look like they are probably from the 40's and should probably be inspected before use. The socket is a standard size with a switch(underneath the top globe) ... moreThere is a gold metal ring under the bottom globe with a few cracks in it, probably from over tightening the pieces together. It is not loose or broken all the way through. The remainder of the lamp, including the bottom globe does not have any visible damage aside from minor light wear. All paint on the glass pieces is intact and skillfully done. The gold finish on the metal pieces has some wear and has a darkened patina from age. The bottom of the base is marked with a number 5. The lamp measures 21 1/2" H x about 8" W. It will be partially disassembled. Wrapped very well, double boxed, and insured during shipping.

This is an astonishing beautiful hand painted kerosene lamp converted to electric. This is absolutely the nicest lamp from this period I have ever seen. You will not be dissapointed. Very RARE EXQUISITE JANE EYRE? Face/Bust Victorian Parlor/Banquet/GWTW Oil LAMP
Measures 20" tall to top of ball globe. Missing the chimney. Has been electrified but probably can be reversed. Extremely rare lamp. Really can't find any info at all on the internet. Globe is excellent and original. Do not see any cracks, very few minor chips at opening. Detail on base is incredible. Please see all photo's for all the great detail. Does have some missing pieces on lamp base center section, I didn't even notice they were missing, thought it was just styling of lamp.
