There is a teeny sliver chip on the side of one shade near the fitter(barely noticable only mentioned for accuracy) and a thin line on the fitter tab of the other one that is not seen when shade is in fitter. Vintage Slag Glass Lamp Shade with Winged Griffins Shown is a vintage caramel slag glass lamp shade with a very sturdy and ornate metal(lead) frame that features winged griffins. The frame has no breaks and no repairs and comes to you with its original untouched brass/gilded finish and aged patina. The shade measures 13 inches wide at the bottom(corner to corner) and 4 inches wide at the top and stands 7 inches tall. The 6 panels measure 6 inches at the bottom and 2 inches at the top. The glass panels are all in good condition with no cracks and no chips.

UNIQUE Art Deco Nouveau Gothic Figural Sphinx Lion Leaded Slag Glass Lamp Light
Great antique art deco/nouveau figural Egyptian Sphinx(made out of what I believe to be bronze) lamp with an exquisite marbled leaded slag glass multi colored shade. The arm holding the shade rotates from side to side. And I believe it is brass. This piece is in excellent condition, the shade is free from any chips or cracks. The lamp weighs over 6 pounds, it's a very solid heavy piece. There is some wear from age to the arm, and some age to the body of the Sphinx, so please look closely at the pictures. I couldn't find any makers mark, the only signature I could find was the"Leviton" which is the company that makes the wiring. I have looked all over. And could not find anything as exquisite as this piece. This is a very unique and beautiful piece to add to your collection. It measures 9 1/2" high. Old Antique Vintage American Brilliant Cut Glass Art Nouveau Art Deco Lamp
ANTIQUE LAMP AMERICAN BRILLIANT CUT GLASS Found in a local estate auction is this beautiful cut glass lamp with a pointed mushroom shade. It dates to the early 20th century. It measures about 17.5" high. Perfect for a boudoir. It is in good condition, no damage aside from minor fleabite chips around the base edge. The prisms are not all original and one is missing. Some have small chipping. This lamp was so dirty that I thought the metal was brass. I thoroughly cleaned it and found under the grime the metal is silverplate. It has a pull chain socket and takes a c-7 chandelier type bulb. The wiring is not original but is still very old and does work. It has an on/off switch on the cord. All old wiring should be checked for safety before use. The socket is marked Bryant. I could not find any other markings. Use my photos for condition ... moredescription. This beautiful Le Verre Francais lamp designed by Charles Schneider has been in my family since the 1920's. We would always ask my Grandmother to turn it on when we went to visit my Grandparents. This satiny glass lamp in beautiful shades of yellows. Oranges and reds looks like a gorgeous sunrise/sunset when illuiminated. The base alone can be lit or the combination of the base and shade together may be on. Both the base and shade are signed Le Verre Francais followed by the Lorraine Cross. The plug and switch are original while the frayed silk cord looks newer. The shade has a small factory wheel cut near the top-1/2" x 1/16" wide x 1/32" deep- that doesn't show when on or off but can be felt. It does not detract from the beauty of this stunning lamp. This lamp is in preowned condition and does show slight signs of age but over all it is in beautiful condition with the exception of one panel being cracked from the top to bottom. The crack took me a while to see but it is present yet the slag glass is holding inside the metal casting perfectly fine. The ... morerest of the lamp is in spectacular condition with not other flaws and a beautiful light patina showing through parts of the metal. Lamp is signed on the underside of the base. Base is heavy cast iron with a brass stem and cast iron metal holding the slag glass panels. Overlay metal work on the shade has a nice hammered aged look to it with some dust present and light surface scratches yet I think that is from production and not actu al scratches. The base is etched with a very nice leaf/floral design cut deep in to the cast iron. Also included with the lamp is an old 8 foot extension cord that match's the lamp's cord. Up for auction is an antique hanging 4 panel slag glass cast lamp with filigree. The lamp has 4 curved and tapered panels. All in excellent condition, no cracks or repairs. Each varies in color. The lamp measures 13" long X 6" across at the top. The lamp will need a simple rewiring, it is not currently working. There is some tarnish/pitting on one side of the fixture as this was probably hung outdoors on a porch. The chain that is currently attached is about 10" long. Winner gets a gorgeous. Original Art Deco or Art Nouveau metal lamp with a kneeling woman and amber crackle glass globe. I think the metal is just spelter with a bronze finish. Although not 100% sure of the composition, I'm just making an educated guess. The lamp itself has a great patina consistent with it's age. There is no damage at all to the base or the globe. There are no chips or cracks on the base. The globe is also chip and crack free. The only thing I will mention is the fixture that the globe sits on is a little loose. It is not damaged or a defect, it is just the way the lamp was produced. The height of the lamp with the globe is roughly 16" The bases measures roughly 4.5" x 5" The globe is about 5" in diameter. Offered for auction is a beautiful vintage La Belle Specialty Co. Art Deco patinated cast metal Goddess figural table lamp. La Belle Specialty Co. Pat. Pend. can be found in raised lettering on the back of the base. See photo. The lamp is in good working condition and has been rewired with new gold cloth wire. The shade is whole is aesthetically pleasing from the front but does have a crack in it. These lamps are rare to find with the original shades whether globe or the metal house. Exceptional Old Antique Pair Large Art Nouveau Deco Figural Maiden Statue Lamps
~ Original Art Nouveau Period Maiden Lamps ~ ~ Description This is an original pair of large. Early 1900's figural maiden lamps with amber glass shades. These are very, very rare to find in an original pair and unheard of in this condition. I purchased them long ago from an elderly lady in Dallas who had them carefully stored away for many years, and they are extremely well preserved and entirely original except for the cords. I can't find any defects to mention at all. Even the glass is perfect, but please keep in mind that they are old. I would never part with these lamps if I had the space to properly display them. As I really love them and know I will never be able to replace them, but I feel that they should be enjoyed rather than put away where no one can see them, so I have decided to offer them to someone new who will appreciate ... morethem as much as I do. These lamps are very impressive in person. They are large and heavy. Each standing approx. 24" tall. The diameter of each shade is about 7" at widest. One of the cords was recently updated with antique style cloth covered cord and the switch at the bottom was bypassed so it must be plugged in and unplugged(I just used the switch on a power strip to turn both lamps on and off at the same time rather than using the switch and plug on the lamps) The lamp with the old wiring works well. But you may wish to have the wiring replaced. The switch on that one is functional. I use realistic looking flickering candle bulbs in these which are pictured, and I will included them. They really look beautiful behind the amber glass and produce such a warm, relaxing light. If you wanted to use these lamps more for light than just for ambiance, you could replace the bulbs with something brighter. They do take standard size bulbs. My photos should describe these amazing lamps much better than I can with words. This item isn’t just beautiful. It’s useful. This lovely, Art Nouveau/Deco, hand-painted, trumpet-shaped, art glass shade is unsigned, but of a very high quality as you can see. I’ve spent a lot of time looking for this lamp shade and haven’t found anything. It is in the style of, and could be related to: Quezal, Tiffany, Steuben, Kralik or Rindskopf, Loetz. I’ve found similar items in all of these products, but not this exact shade. If you know what this is, I’d appreciate an email about it. The oil spot colors are amazing with blues. Amethysts, and pinks, purples, golds. The gold is pulled over the iridescent background, which can be seen underneath.
