I am not expert on statues. However the girl's fingers looks like repaired, as one of the fingers is thinner then the other, and roughness on the others. Please note that handling time for this item is about a week after payment clears. Antique desk lamp. From bottom to top it stands 22 5/8 INCHES TALL. The base is 12 inches long. And 6 1/2 inches wide. I'm not sure of its exact age or any of its history. I purchased it at an antique store in 1996 or'97. It's in descent shape. The main problem is that three of the front hooves of the horses are broken off and missing. The shade. Which is metal, has come off and needs to be soldered back onto its spokes. As you can see in the photo, the lamp can rotate on its base, so it needs to be glued to the base again. Other than that there are the scratches and chipped paint you can see in the photos. A mouse took one small shallow bite off the rubber surface of the cord(it doesn't go down to the wire) And a small tear in the felt under ... morethe base. Bulbs have been tested and the lamp works. A great pair of L& F Moreau spelter and polychrome enamel table lamps. Beautifully sculpted in the art nouveau style. These two are the most beautiful/handsome"Harvesters" you will ever see and they are in pretty nice condition. He' has almost all of his enamel decoration(one small touch up on copper tube) but has been rewired, where'She' is missing quite a bit of the enameling but has what appears to be original wiring. The pair is fashioned of cast, bronzed spelter and feature large, detailed clipper sailing ships. The ships are enroute, probably across the Atlantic. They feature large opened sails with ornate crests on each sail. Below the ships are sea waves that curl and swirl upward and over. Tucked in the center wave is the head of a large fish, dolphin, or sea creature. The nautical theme continues on the lamp bases where the seas are calmer. There are large shells and very large, detailed pairs of dolphins, whales or koi fish which surround the entire base of the lamps. There are wave patterns here as well. The bases are slightly raised or footed. The backs of the lamps are also very ... morenice with the ship's mast detailed. Picture#8 contrasts the front and back of the lamps. The lamps feature long candlestick design with a single bulb operation. The lamps do not have harps or shades. The pair is in very good. Antique condition. They do have an aged patina to the bronze finish. Part of this"antiqued" finish was original to the finish of the lamps to give them an aged appearance. The wiring is old but working. It has a raised decoration with swags of flowers and the original pull chain socket that is the size of a night light bulb. The original shade holder is still intact but is very rusty(see photo) It originally took a slag glass or panel lamp shade. The wiring is still old with the silk covered wire and should be changed(although this lamp is working with the old wiring) It measures approximately 11 3/4" high(to the top of the shade holder) x 4" in diameter at the base. For your consideration are an exceptional pair of monumental figural lamps that are just stunning after Arthur Waagen and signed on base bottoms. These are divine pieces with intricate detail and are for right and left placement. You will have a hard time finding another pair with such elaborate detail. Antique French spelter metal lamp base with cherubs. This piece is 10 1/2 inches in height. 2 3/4 inches across the bottom and weighs 2 pounds 8.1 ounces. It is signed FRANCE near the base. It is in fair to good condition, with wear showing on most of the raised areas and it looks like there may have been another vine. There are two ground spots where it probably would have been attached that were painted over with the same finish that is on the rest of the piece. Antique figural lady spelter/pot metal pioneer farm girl lamp vintage art deco
Working art deco antique lamp. She's a colonial pioneer figural lady. But I don't know a lot about the origin, metal type, or date of the lamp. Judging from the plug, I'd guess 1940`s or 50`s. The paint is the original color, and there is minimal chipping. She's holding a tool that resembles a rake in size and shape. However the teeth are too short to be a rake, at least as far as I know. ANTIQUE BRONZE SATIN GLASS GLOBE SPELTER ART NOUVEAU DECO TABLE LAMP LIGHT NICE Up for your consideration is this antique bronze and satin glass table lamp. It is made in a art nouveau/deco style(kind of) Please be sure to see the other antique items we have listed. FEATURES: This lamp is unlike anything that I have ever seen in the past. Or could find online, including eBay, Google images and a bunch of other sites. I believe the base is cast from solid bronze. It is made in a very ornate style with scrolling and leafing, and very fine details. The white satin glass globe is adorned with the most detailed hand formed( vines and leaves applied to it. They look like they have been extruded or maybe hand formed(possibly similar to how you would use a pastry gun) when the bronze was in a malleable state. I'm not sure of the actual process ... moreused to make this beautiful lamp because some of the vines feel like they are actually embedded right into the surface of the glass- and the final product is stunning. Each leaf has a very detailed design that includes a"ruffling" on each edge of the leaves. The vines and leaves have been attached to the globe by what I can only guess is a"melding" of the two materials while they were in a hot or workable stage. If anyone knows what this process is, or knows how it was made, an email would be greatly appreciated. The top section above the globe may have been cast from a different composition of materials than the base was. It is designed with a Roman or Greek style with a column look and leaves that fan out at the top. At the top of the four leaves there is a small hole where presumably a crystal hung down from there at one time. It comes with standard socket switch 2 clicks on and two clicks turns it off. I believe this lamp was re-wired with a new cord and socket sometime in the 1950's-60's. The length of the cord is a bit less than 6 feet. You will not come across an exact pair of thes lamps easily. From an estate in Brooklyn. A fantastic and rare pair of very large, signed Auguste Moreau Art Nouveau antique spelter lamps. They feature a graceful woman holding a tamberine with a cherub by her side. They are signed. see photo. A family heirloom for over sixty years they were purchased sometime in the mid to late 1950s from an antique shop in NY. They were used but treasured for probably most of that time. The lamps are very large, full size living room lamps. Measure 30" to the top of the tamberline and approx. 34" to where the light bulb socket starts. The lamps were cleaned and polished about twenty years ago and in the process one of the arms broke off one lamp. It was repaired but came off again in a move ten years later. We have arm. See photos. condition issues ... moreother than the arm: On the lamp without the broken arm, there is a small hole in the metal. See photo. That is all I see. Antique Lamp This auction is for a really nice and very well made antique figural statue lamp that dates back to the 1920s or so. The lamp has a really great Art Deco figure on the side that has a bronze spelter body and then a celluloid face. That celluloid face actually comes off easily and it needs to be reglued. But otherwise the lamp is in excellent condition. It has a pedestal on the side that would have held some kind of shade and I believe it would have been a Millefiori style, but that has since gone missing. Very Petite 9" Cast Spelter Antique Lamp Winged Cherub Holding Flower Garland
Old original tiny lamp measuring about 9" to the top of the brass socket. It measures about 3" wide at the base. It is heavy. Solid and am not sure if it is brass or spelter. but it's a cutie and works perfectly with the brass turn-switch. There is a long cord with a heavy duty plug and each looks good- they may have been replaced through the years. The darker photos more truly reflect the patina of the lamp, not the brassy ones. the flash does that. It's about 23" tall and 16" at the widest point. It has a three lobed base. And baby dragons(just hatched, looks like)ok, ok, DOLPHINS) help support the main shaft. It has two bulb receptacles for changing light levels/colors on the fly; as you can see in the pic, it will happily light up a red bulb. It appears to have the original wiring. This lamp is gorgeous and graceful. I believe she is made of spelter(metal) There is a crack at her calf/shin area. But looks old, almost cast that way. It does not effect the looks. The lamp is very sturdy. Where she is mounted on the base, the metal has oxidized some. Could be cleaned up easily. There is a small crack about 1/2 inch on edge of base. It does not effect the stability in any way. The entire lamp could use a"finish facelift" The paint just has some wear and chips. Selling as is-as I found it. It had been rewired when I bought it. I am guessing this Lamp to be from the 1930's. This gorgeous Lamp has a pink shade and stands approximately 17 1/2" tall. It is approximately 11" deep from the outer edge of the arm to the far edge of the shade. This Lamp features a lovely Dancing Lady Figurine with a long. Flowing dress and a wide-brimmed Victorian hat! She has what I'm pretty certain is a delicate hand painted celluloid face and flowing blonde hair in ringlets. Her face needs a little cleaning, but I do not know what to use and do not wish to damage it. No cracks or breaks anywhere on the Lamp, but it does have a few white specks and is dusty and needs cleaning. The figurine is a little bit loose ... moreand need to be tightened on the bottom. The pink shade is also nice, but does have some scratches, light marks and needs cleaning. The bottom inner rim of the shade has roughness around the edge. Gorgeous OOAK Hand Painted Pair of Antique Moreau Type French double Figural Lady Lamps in their flowing gowns. One standing lady looking over the shoulder of the other at sheet music on each! These lovelies are heavy with two female figures per lamp weighing 16 pounds each. The figural ladies are made of spelter the bases are aluminum. Overall size of each lamp from the base to the top of the harp is 32" to the top of the bulb socket is 25" The standing ladies are 16" to give you an idea of the ladies size. Base dimension is 10" by 8" at their widest! These Ladies were beyond in need of a revival as they had sustained damage to their bases. They have been repaired and they have been newly hand painted in a pastel coral and a sage green with white and gold bases by a local Artist friend. We now have four sisters with ... moreblonde. Brunette, black and auburn colored hair! He even painted the symbols on the sheet music! He did a superb job giving these Beauties a new Life! They have also have new sockets and wiring. Harps are included. There are no finials. There are no markings on this Pair that we can find, they are older ones though, probably from around the 40's or earlier! The blonde lady does have a minimal crack on the back of her right arm and a previous break to her pinky that was repaired, see last photo. One wee area on the back of the socket poles are missing paint were they were nicked in transit, ooopps, see next to last photo, can easily be touched up. All the pictures were taken with a Flash for detail distorting their color a wee bit. As their coloring and dresses are a bit lighter than shown due to the flash. Layaway Available, Inquiry! The original cloth cord was trashed. The original plug has been retained. I think this lamp is from the late 1930's or 1940's. Very good condition. One crack in the slag glass which is on the croen of the shade. I made a picture but it's really difficult to see. Definitely not a deal breaker. The lamp stands 27 inches tall. ANTIQUE NOUVEAU SPELTER NUDE MERMAID NEWEL POST LAMP
This sale is for a beautiful antique art nouveau spelter mermaid lamp. The original bronzed patina is in remarkably good condition with no losses which is rare for a lamp this age.It measures approx. 13" tall to the top of the shade holder and the wooden base is 6" across. The lady is probably more of a sea nymph than a mermaid since she has fins on both legs. I estimate it to be around 1910-20. It is pictured with a Czech shade but the shade has a chunk out of the rim and has the tip broken off one of its points and is NOT included in the sale. There are lots of beautiful period shades with a 3 1/2" fitter size listed on e-bay which would look great on this lamp. The wiring looks newer than the lamp and it probably had a pull cord at one time since there is a hole in the shade holder to accommodate it. I think the switch at ... morethe back was added later. For sale is an Antique/Vintage Art Nouveau Lamp made of Spelter or Pot Metal. This old piece had evidently been rewired in the past and WORKS just fine. The lamp measures 13-1/2 inches high to the top of the socket. The base measures 8 inches across. The lamp is unmarked as to manufacturer but is in very good condition. If it was painted originally. The paint is now gone. The metal is in good shape; no breaks, cracks or dents. Depicted on the lamp vase are leaves and vines and what appears to be a flower where the base attaches to the socket.

Built/Opened 1891, Demolished 1951 I believe this type of metal would be called"spelter" Although I may be mistaken, it could be iron instead. The person, whom I purchased this from around ten years ago(here in Portland, OR) reported to me that this came from a sell off of interior items from the famous, long gone, Portland Hotel, which used to stand where Pioneer Square now resides, dead in the center of Downtown Portland, OR. Since acquiring this lamp, I've tried several times to find any way to prove its origin, or tie it to the hotel, however there is a notorious lack of photographs(NONE showing the inside of a single one of the rooms customers used to stay in has ever been discovered) combined w/a surprising lack of detailed inventory, or other information ... moreabout the mundane aspects of this famous hotel. Therefore, I cannot exactly prove the lamp's provenance, only relate it as it was told to myself. The last bit of information the former owner of the lamp provided, was the claim that they picked the piece up for basically nothing, when the interior of the hotel was practically thrown away& handed out free upon its closing. Here is a little Wikipedia information on the hotel- The Portland Hotel(or Hotel Portland) was a late-19th-century hotel in. That once occupied the city block on which now stands. It closed in 1951 after 61 years of operation. Much more information can be found on this Wikipedia page. Or by using a Google search. Just don't expect to find many pictures of any parts of the hotel's fancy interior. As you can see in the pictures. The lamp has not been actually damaged by any abuses, but it is very old, has paint issues, although no real oxidation that I can locate. Antique Victorian bronzed spelter Fishing boy lamp. The boy stands on a turned wood ebonised base. The lamp is in good original condition. But will need rewiring. Antique French Spelter Art Nouvea Barefoot Girl Lamp - 41 Inches Tall
Up for auction is a beautiful antique French Spelter Lamp. It has amazing detail and stands approx. 41 inches tall. It was acquired as part of an estate sale so I don't know a lot about it. It has 6 lamps which I believe is very rare since I couldn't find any online with that many. The foundry mark is etched on the back of the girl's skirt. Although somewhat worn. It is still partially visible and says"Collection France. I was told that its age is late 1800s/early 1900s. Given its age, it is still in very good condition. I think it has the original wiring and would need to be rewired. There are a few nicks- please see pictures. This is a fabulous collector's item.

August Moreau figural lamp" Alerte" depicting a semi nude cupid with bow and arrow. This is a fine decorative lamp in a very impressive size and very seldom found with such detail and depth. Minimal wear to the patina as shown commensurate of age. Easily touched up if you felt the need. There are three antique Czech glass beaded shades with hinge. Some strings will need reattaching at hinge. Overall a very unique and rare example for use as a newel post or to place on your favorite pedestal. Measures approximately: 32" high. 20" wide and 7 3/4" wide at base. All items are carefully packaged and shipped fully insured with delivery confirmation.
