The filigree work is just wonderful and sets off the colors in the shade. The lamp is a combination of brass. Copper, bronze and pot metal with a great golden patinated finish near 100% The lamp stands 20 inches tall. The shade is 16 inches wide and about 6 1/2 inches tall. There are 2 vintage sockets working off of one pull chain. One pull turns on one light, second turns on the second light, third pull goes back to one light and fourth pull turns it all off, it all works well. The lamp has been rewired with correct wiring and works and looks just great. This beautiful lamp is unmarked except for a#1 on the base. ORNATE BRASS ANTIQUE OIL KEROSENE STUDENT LAMP MILLER? FOR RESTORATION
Sorry. No International Shipping. Please note that our photos are below the item description. This antique student lamp is in need of restoration. It has been electrified at some time in the past. Luckily the wire came out of the burner section and no other holes or alterations were made in the lamp. In the 5th row of photos you can see the slight separation in the ribbing at the bottom where the wire came out. Other minor problems are there is some solder at the top of the oil tank with some very minor metal fatigue at the top. There is a dent on the inside of the oil tank also shown in the 5th row of photos. Obviously the burner has also been altered. There are no other dents. Splits or damages on the lamp. The lamp is made of solid brass(except for the weight in the base) and would polish up beautifully if that was your desire. antique ornate brass victorian swing arm Miller's Vestal lamp light
This is a Miller's Vestal swing arm lamp. It looks to be an antique and I believe it is made of brass with a copper band. It works when you add a light bulb(clear glass hurricane is NOT included) Has a few scratches but in good condition for its age. It comes with the 3 3/4 inch wall mount. Very ornate design. About 9 inches tall. The arm itself is 5 inches long and the widest part of the body is about 7 inches. Very elaborate detail.

Up for bid a really cute antique miller banquet parlor oil kerosene lamp it has really nice embossed raised fleur de lys and it looks like pewter and solid brass or bronze the lamp measures 20.5H the base is 7in leg to leg top is 4.5 says patented june 28. 1882 the shade is signed handel#1045 it is 33in around and 3.5 top and 12.5H and 4 in on bottom it also comes with a chimney I will include a pic with the shade and pic. Antique Emeralite Lamp #8734 X Miller, Bradley & Hubbard, Pittsburgh, Handel
This is a wonderful Emeralite 8734 X Lamp by H.G. McFaddin Co of New York. It stands 14 1/2 inches tall on about a 7 inch round moulded base. The finish is a beautiful deep patinated Brass/Bronze finish and just looks great. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. This is a little different than most of the Emeralite lamps. Rather than the wing nut adjustment apparatus for tilting the lamp shade. This lamp has the knob with a screw head in it and is spring loaded to keep the shade in place. To adjust it you can do a short partial turn with a screw driver and then adjust the shade where you want it and back the screw the short turn and then the shade will not move. First spring loaded one I have ran across. Very tight and interesting mechanism. The shade is the normal emeralite green shade, about 8 3/4 X 5 X 3 tall and is ... morein perfect shape, no nicks or cracks, and has most of the original decal present. 17 in. Tall shade at base is 10 1/2. base of lamp is 5 3/4.this is a beautiful antique lamp.It is all original only thing not is the cord rewired. Quite a few years ago. The shade is slightly parted on one seam, see photos. There is a small chip inside see pics 1/8 in. The base is all bronze with a rich green toned patina, all pull switch and socket appear to be original. The shade is a white metal. All glass is original and matching as I believe is the finneal. Vintage Antique 1920's Double Socket Lamp Base Miller? Pittsburgh? Parts Repair
This double socket lamp dates to the 1920's or thereabouts. Its either a Miller or a Pittsburgh. I've seen this same pattern that appears on the base of this lamp on other signed lamps. This one is marked on the base but is under the weight and I could not get the weight off nor can I see through the weight to see what it reads. Untested as the plug is missing but I see no reason why it wouldn't work as the pull chains snap crisply. The original paint on this one is in pretty nice condition but the vase shaped piece just above the base has 2 dents and the paint is scratched on that part. This is an antique Miller Co. 31122 brass torchiere floor lamp.It was recently acquired at an estate sale.I haven't done anything to it other than wipe it off with a damp cloth.I'm selling this lamp in antique"as is" condition and with no shade.The lamp does work as seen in the photos.I'm not sure of the exact age.But it dates back to the early 1900's. This lamp does have a darkened patina and some tarnish from age.But I think it could be cleaned up quite nicely.There doesn't appear to be any major scratches or gouges,but does have a couple of small scuffs. The lamp stands 52" tall.It is 10 1/2" in diameter at the base and weighs nearly 11 lbs. This could be a nice antique piece for your home.Thank you for looking

Antique Slag Glass Lamp Art Nouveau, possibly Miller, Beautiful!
As far as I know. Most of this antique slag glass lamp is original. The only exceptions are the sockets, which have been replaced along with the pull chains. The lamp has also been rewired. The slag glass appears to be all original. There are no breaks on the shade or anywhere else. It's gorgeous. Based on the online research that I've done, this lamp appears to be made by the Miller Lighting Company. If it was ever signed, the branding was probably removed when the sockets were changed. As you can see, the lamp works well. One socket is a bit loose, but both sockets work. Lamp weights over 14 lbs. Stands about 24" high and the shade is more than 12" in diameter. Antique Bradley & Hubbard Slag Glass lamp Miller Pittsburgh Handel Emeralite
This is a beautiful Bradley& Hubbard Slag Glass Lamp in great condition. The lamp stands 22 1/2 inches tall with a 7 1/2 inch base. The shade is 17 or 18 inches in diameter. Depending on where you measure it, and is 8 1/2 inches tall. The shade is marked in two places"Bradley& Hubbard Mfg. Co. and the only markings on the base are inside the novel area that holds the lamp sockets. It is marked"Pat. Dec. 7, 1920" I find no other markings on the base. The sculpted base and shade have well defined laurel leaves, flowers and ribbon garlands. The finish is a beautiful variegated antique gold and is about all there. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfect. The shade is complete with no cracks. There are a couple small missing pieces of filigree on the bottom of the shade that do not detract from the lamp. See ... morethe 2 pictures of the B& H markings on the shade. Up for sale is this beautiful antique 8 panel lamp shade. It is about 20 3/4" diameter at its widest and about 9" tall to the finial top. This is circa 1910-1925ish. It will need to be cleaned up a bit. The very bottom has iron trim that has some rust, but that was the only spot that attracted a magnet. I believe this was originally a hanging shade. I could not find any makers marks on the shade, I know that sometimes these were marked on the actual hanging hardware, but this is a quality crafted piece.

This lamp shade has been reverse painted with green on the inside and pink chrysanthemums on the outside. The flowers are beautifully done! The inside has a nice frosted pebbled finish. The top rim has a hand painted gilt border. The lamp is a oil lamp that was converted for electricity. The lamp has detailed scrollwork handles and feet. Also included is a hurricane glass. The lamp shade is Handel. Design 2554, and marked as such. The lamp is made by Edward Miller and is a third version Juno lamp, marked as such. These oil lamps were produced between 1895-1898. The hurricane is marked, Empire. This lamp is in excellent condition. The lamp shade has no cracks or damage. There are fleabites around the bottom ... morerim. Not visible when it is on the lamp. Wonderful original condition oil lamp! This is a"Miller's Vestal" Marked in several different places. It comes with a 14 inch diameter milk glass shade, oil font, pulley system, and smoke bell. Antique Miller Lamp base For Slag or stained Glass Shade 3 acorn pull chains
The lamp is about 21" tall. I did find a little bolt for the top. That would normally hold the shade on, in the box that this was in, after I had taken the pictures, so you can't see that. I will include it in the shipping box, but I don't know if it is the right one or not. It was loose in the box. It seems to fit the hole, but does not screw down very far. I did not test this by plugging it in. All three pulls seem like they would turn the bulbs off and on just fine, click and click. I just love those little bitty acorn pulls. I don't think anything is broken on this, but the cord is in terrible shape. I do have a shade listed, that looks like stained glass to me, but I am no pro. It might be slag glass, not stained, and it might go with this. The person that owns these two items said they go together but I thought this ... morelamp looked older than that shade. Brass finial seems to be original and if so is worth something on its own as a replacement part. Appears to be Empire style with two pull-chain bulbs that have candle cover bases. Also original. Lamp is fairly weighty for its size, nice sturdy piece. The Miller Lamp Company is comparable to Bradley, Hubbard, and Handel, started in the late ... more1800s to produce quality and innovative stylish lamps until the early 1900s. Bottom of base is marked Miller 1134, shade frame also is imprinted with the Miller name. Lamp was found at a local flea market 15 years ago covered in lavender paint and the fabric on the shade was torn beyond repair. At that time we gently flaked off most of the paint and repaired the shade with lace on the outside and silk inside, all hand sewn but not like the original and not professionally done, but looks acceptable. Some bits of the paint remain here and there mainly where it is not particularly visible, easy to remove with the help of paint remover but remains to be done, could not be scraped for fear of scratching the brass surface, which has been carefully preserved. The bulbs in place are the smallest wattage we could find to help keep the silk shade from deteriorating, but larger new energy saving bulbs can probably provide more light without heat today. Candle type bases for the bulbs are slightly worn and chipped. One flaw has come to our attention at the point of listing, which is a vertical split in the metal just above the base and it can be seen in a couple of the pictures. The lamp is

This beautiful lamp was found at an upstate NY Estate. The glass is white with caramel color streaks. Gorgeous ornate detail to both the base and shade. The metal on the shade and base is non-magnetic and gilded with gold leaf. I do not find a Makers Mark on the lamp so I won't venture a guess as to the maker. This is a large lamp with wonderful craftsmanship. As noted in detail below. One glass panel has a crack CONDITION The shade frame is beautiful with just a few spots where the gold finish has worn- non-obvious places like inside edges. The base has only a couple spots of wear on the finish. Two of the spots at the top- pretty much out of sight- and one tiny one ... moreon the side(see pictures) The cord has been replaced(with another antique cloth cord) but the inner wiring looks to be original The sockets are marked"Arrow" and appear to be original to lamp One glass panel has a large crack. Very nice lamp by Edward Miller. I do not know if the slag glass shade is original to the piece but the hardware fittings seem to fit perfectly. Base is marked and numbered#1161(style) Base has original patina. All other hardware appears to be original and is oxidized and will need to be cleaned or refinished. Nice project lamp! Shade is damaged in that two slag glass pieces are missing. Should be and easy repair for a stained glass artisan. The cream/brown colored slag glass is not super hard to find. This is a really neat rare lamp along the Emeralite style of desk lamp. This lamp is double signed"Amronlite Pat'd 1917. Made in USA" and"Pat'd May 8, 1917, Amronlite, Made in USA" one on the shade bracket and one on the lamp bracket where the shade sits. The lamp stands 16 1/2 inches tall on its 7 1/2 X 7 1/2 wide square base. The shade is 9 1/2 X 4 1/2 X 3 1/2 tall and is in beautiful condition, no chips or cracks. The beautiful patinated bronze finish is in excellent condition and the square part of the lamp base is for nicknacks or a pad of note paper. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. For sale is this great old bent panel slag glass lamp. 8 green. Brown and cream panels- all in great condition. Shade is a floral, vine pattern and measures 18" w x 8" h. A nice wide base with harp type pattern in gold color, nice patina. Should be re-wired. Two sockets are old with nice brass chains& umbrella pulls. Works smooth and crisp. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. ORIGINAL, Edward Miller lamp. This antique lamp dates between 1880 and 1900. The lamp is kerosene oil burning and retains its original parts. The ornate, brass, oil reservoir sits inside a squared canister. The canister is brass and is in a painted black finish. The canister is footed with gilded iron. The 4 sides of the canister feature alternating faces as their focal. Two sides feature a large lion face; the others feature a smaller, devil or North Wind face. These adornments are also iron with a gilded finish. The lamp has a French Empire or Federal style and it is quite striking. The reservoir is embossed with a floral pattern at the top and is quite ornate. The wick adjustment is marked with the Edward Miller logo as is the font cap. The burner is also marked with an ornate logo that incorporates ... morethe Edward Miller initials as well as the sun, moon and stars. The bottom of the canister is stamped 0601 or 0607. The lamp has an old, tall glass chimney and an old, white milk glass shade in a quilted pattern. The shade is rough cut at the fitter which indicates age. This is a truly beautiful lamp with a sophisticated presence. I have had the lamp looked at by an expert(I am NOT an oil lamp expert) who assures me that the lamp has all original components. The reservoir looks good but has not been tested for leaks. The wick adjustment is sticking but the expert indicates that this is probably due lack of use and that it will probably loosen when soaked in oil. There is no wick present and you will need to supply the wick. The lamp measures as follows: With the chimney attached. The lamp is 26.5" tall. The canister is 9.5" tall and 13" tall to the burner. The canister is 7.25" squared at the feet. The white glass shade is 8" tall, 7.5" in diameter at the widest measurement and it has a 4" fitter. Shipping via UPS with insurance provided for you. Antique Art Deco Miller Lamp Co. Reverse Painted Lamp Base & Satin Shade #232
This auction features an antique bronzed Miller Lamp and shade. This lamp has been in one families possession since it was acquired new back in the late 1920’s(Or maybe the early 1930’s. The owner cannot remember exactly) The bronzed base stands 20 ½ inches tall and has a nice authentic patina. The base features alternating panels with tulips and a stylized art deco design. The base is signed on the bottom as pictured and retains all of the original bronzed finish. The cord is a replacement cloth cord. The shade which is original to this lamp is a satin glass shade with an attractive reverse painted scene which completely surrounds the shade. The shade measures 15 inches in diameter. Stands 8 inches tall, and has a 3 ¼ inch fitter. There are a few condition issues needing mentioned. The first and in my opinion the worst of the issues ... moreis a loss of original finish. There are 4 areas where this has happened, and I have pointed all four for one to evaluate. Here is the story I was told on this issue, and I tend to believe it. The original owner liked the way that the canopy of the lamp had areas where the red-toned sky was lighter is depth. Making it look like a clouds. She liked this so much, she decided to scratch off areas on the shade to make it resemble clouds as well. I am certain this can be restored, and it does look like clouds, but I think if I were to keep this, I would have it restored. The second condition issue is two small chips on the edge of the shade. These are small. We have shown them in comparison with a pencil point for one to evaluate. These are on the flat ground surface and does not affect the profile but mentioned for accuracy. There is the typical roughness around the fitter, but these are covered when the original cap and finial are placed on the shade. All in all. A nice survivor.

Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album UP FOR CONSIDERATION IS A NICE CIRCA 1900 ARTS& CRAFTS MISSION CARMEL SLAG GLASS LAMP.WE BELIEVE MADE BY MILLER BUT THEIR ARE NO MARKINGS.IF NOT MILLER THEN NO DOUBT BY ONE OF THE OTHER FINE LAMP MAKERS OF THAT PERIOD.THE LAMP DATES FROM 1900 TO 1920.IT IS LARGE WITH 8 SLAG GLASS PANELS THAT ARE ORIGINAL TO THE SHADE.THE METAL FRAME HAS A FANTASTIC ARTS& CRAFTS ... moreDESIGN AND WE BELIEVE THE TERRA COTTA BASE IS ORIGINAL TO THE SHADE.BOTH ARE PAINTED IN THE SAME COLOR AND YOU CAN TELL THE PAINT IS ORIGINAL TO BOTH THE LAMP SHADE FRAME AND THE TERRA COTTA STAND AND THE TERRA COTTA STAND ALSO HAS A BEAUTIFUL ARTS AND CRAFTS DESIGN.THE SOCKETS HAVE DOUBLE PULL CHAINS.WHEN WE TESTED THE LAMP IT DID WORK BUT ONE OF THE BULBS DID BLOW OUT WHEN I UNSCREWED THE LIGHT BULB SO PLEASE CHECK THE SOCKET CAREFULLY WHEN YOU RECEIVE IT.AT WORST YOU MAY HAVE TO REPLACE A SOCKET.THE PULL CHAINS DO WORK PERFECT.THE LAMP IS LARGE MEASURING 21 INCHES TALL.THE SHADE IS 18 INCHES IN DIAMETER AND STANDS APPROX. 8 INCHES TALL ON ITS OWN.WE RATE THE CONDITION AS VERY GOOD CONSIDERING THE AGE OF THE LAMP.THE BASE HAS NO DAMAGE ONLY SOME PAINT FLAKING AND LOSS FROM AGE.THE SLAG GLASS PANELS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE WITH NO CRACKS OR MISSING SLAG GLASS.ON 2 OF THE PANELS ON THE INSIDE RIM THEIR ARE MINOR ROUGH SPOTS BUT VERY MINOR AND CAN NOT BE SEEN OR NOTICED AT ALL ON DISPLAY.THEIR ARE A FEW IN THE MAKING STRAW LINES ON THE SLAG GLASS BUT NO CRACKS.CHIPS.BREAKS OR REPAIRS.THE RIM OF THE METAL FRAME HAS ONE CLEAN SEPARATION BUT IS SMALL AND MINOR AS SEEN I
