These are one of the finest and most ornate pair I have sold in a very long time with gorgeous large ornate Rococo style Candlesticks marked Wm A. Rogers. S.P. Lead. They are Silver Plated Lead which makes they very sturdy and they won't topple over easily which is important because the Ruby Glass Shades are very beautiful. The Shades are a Cranberry Flash with nice Fern type designs etched to Clear, much prettier than my photos show. The Hurricane Lamps are a great size for display and use measuring 10-3/4" tall over or 4" across the base of the Candlesticks and 3-3/4" across the top opening of the shades. The Silver Plated Candlesticjks are in amazing condition, bright, shiny and beautiful. The Glass Shades are also in very find condition with some minor roughness around the bases that are covered by the Candlesticks and one has a tiny crack that is only noticeable upon close inspection. ANTIQUE GLASS/CRYSTAL HURRICANE LAMP WITH PRISMS - WORKS
For Sale: A beautiful hurricane lamp that is still in working condition. I'm not sure if the material is glass or lead crystal. It's very heavy like crystal and looks like it. But I can't be sure. It measures 11-1/2" tall by 5-1/2" wide. It's not a real thin lamp like some lamps of this type. The glass/crystal on the stem is a little wider and it's very well made. It still works. It just needs a globe. The prisms are all there. The wires have rivets on the ends which is how they stay hooked on the lamp. Two of them are missing the rivet. They still hook to the shade just fine. You just have to bend the wire a little. There is also one rivet missing on one of the wires on the top of one of the long prisms. I did the same thing, I just put the wire through the prism and bent it upwards a bit and it's fine. ... moreOne of the prisms is just a tiny bit rounded on the end versus the sharp V. I'm not sure if it was chipped and then sanded and polished at one time or not. It isn't noticeable. It blends fine because it's the very tip and you really have to look to notice it. All of the prisms are there. I removed some of them for a couple of photos. They are not missing. I also removed all of them so interested buyers could see exactly what the lamp looks like. The prisms will also be removed for shipping. Please review photos closely before bidding. I take many pictures in an effort to ensure that item condition is available to bidders. Antique Hurricane Gone with the Wind Lamp Brass Floral Design - Electric
After a lot of research. And thanks to other EBay sellers, I found out that this is an electric 3 way hurricane lamp, with a frosted off white lower globe. It has a footed base with crow on the lower globe. The lamp has a lower night light, upper light or option to light both. From the bottom of the base to where the bulb screws in is 14 1/4" The round piece at the top is 10" in diameter, the bottom is 8" wide. The bulb in the bottom is one of those old fashioned Christmas tree bulbs. If you get a top piece to fit this lamp you are definitely going to have a great center/conversation piece. The glass portion is in great condition and the rest is metal. All funds received will be going to the Honor Guard for VFW Post 9644 in Colorado. Beautiful tall etched glass hurricanes with dangling prism crystals in an unusual bright burgundy/pink shade. Probably from middle or late 18th century. Perfect condition. It has electrical wiring but someone has cut the wires at the base(shown in the photos) all electrical is excellent, features toggle switches. It is about 20 inch tall with the hurricanes about 8 inches tall. These are not stained they are flashed. All the wiring is intact and the socket looks in good shape and very solid. I think the cut the wiring in the bottom to avoid carrying around the wires. There is couple of inches of wire in the base that one can attach the plug. I believe one can wire the whole thing. It is very stright forward, the wire goes through a open channal and connects to the socket, not complicated at all. Antique Bradley & Hubbard Electrified Oil Parlor Hurricane Lamp Green & Floral
This listing is for a beautiful. Antique Bradley& Hubbard, electrified oil lamp. It measures 16.5" to the top of the socket area and about 6.5" square across the bottom of the base. The bottom of the base is marked with the number 311. The tank knob is marked B&H, and the wick knob is marked: Pat Applied For. The lamp has a pull chain switch. We have tested it, and it does work. When the converted the lamp, they didn't damage the tank, so it can be converted back to oil. If you look at the last photo, you can see that there is a split in the ring that fits over the base of the lamp. The plug end should probably be replaced, it's old, and the cardboard piece that covers the opening is missing. Shipping is based on 14lbs, packed weight.

The on/off switch is a button that turns. I believe that this is brass(could be wrong) The hurricane shade could be any age. I had no way of dating it. There is a slot on the back so it can be hung on the wall or it can sit on any flat surface. There is pitting and spots that have worn off. It does look like that some one had replaced a screw that holds the hood in place. This stands about 12” tall, 5 ½” long and 5” wide. The base is 4 ¾” diameter. Again this does not work. Up for consideration is this Vintage or Antique Hurricane Gone with the Wind Lamp Applied Brass Floral Design. Both top and bottom light and there are switch positions to light either or both. The bottom socket takes a Christmas tree type bulb. We have sold one these before and at that point new the name of the maker. But it isn't coming to us now. It is in very good'as found' original condition with age consummate ware. There are chips or flea bites around the bottom rim of the top shade. They are pretty much out of sight when the shade is applied to the top rim(see photos) The top shade crimped rim has one very small flea bite or chip(see photos) Also on the top rim there is one applied leaf that may have broken away. Antique GWTW Hurricane Oil Lamp Hand Painted Electrified Pink and White
This antique Gone with the Wind hurricane lamp has been electrified and has a turn key off/on switch. It stands about 18.5" tall to the top of the globe type shade. The electric cord hangs from the socket. Not out the bottom of the lamp. It has a ornate cast metal 5" square footed base. The white milk glass body was hand painted with an orchid like bloom and has a smaller flower on the back side. The 9" globe type shade is white with a blush of pink color at top and bottom. Pair Vintage Antique ? Crystal Cut Glass Table Lamp With Prisms Etched Hurricane
I looked over the glass base and did not see any major issues with the glass base. Actually did not see any issues and I looked pretty closely. The one etched hurricane has a crack in the base that can be seen in the picture. Both lamps need to be rewired. Two crystals are missing. I was able to easily take apart one lamp by hand while the other has rust. I want to cut the cords off and part the lamps for safe shipping. Please advise me of any special requirements you might have before buying. Doing an excellent grade A+ job packing is not a special requirement and is included in the price of this item. The bottom square part of the base is 4 1/8" and the top round glass part of the base measures 4 3/4" diameter. 2/21/2014 UPDATE: Based on all the interest and questions I am having in the lamps I decided to cut the electric cords off and really examine both lamps. Two things I have noticed that are note worthy. One semi-pear glass midsection has 4 hairline cracks. The glass is very thick and these cracks do not carry into the inside of the glass. I never noticed these cracks until I really examined the individual pieces looking for issues. The rest of the glass pieces on both lamps look good. One piece of wire that hangs through the glass base is missing. This thin piece of wire allows the crystal to hang from the lamp. The cords are off and ready to have new wiring. The existing lamp fixtures on the lamps look to be in good condition and will work just fine. New wire and inline switch will be needed. 2/21/14 UPDATE: New wire and plugs added. Kept the switches as new ones would not match the quality of the existing ones. Little over 7 foot long cords. All the effort of wiring and costs means I am not likely to accept a best offer

Vintage Antique Glass & Brass Hurricane Hanging Lamp Light Gone W/The Wind Style
This is an absolutely beautiful hurricane style hanging lamp. It has glass shades that are painted a beautiful pastel colored arrangement highlighting blue. Red, tan and green with its background being an off white. The glass is held by three brass rods and is surrounded by a very ornate styled brass ring and has another ring of the same style that sits on top of the upper shade. Overall it measures approximately 16" tall x 14" wide. It will hang down approximately 36" from the base plate when attached to a ceiling. It is dusty and does have some specs of a light colored paint where the lamp was not removed before the ceiling above was painted. The cleaning and paint removal should be fairly easily done. The shade itself can sell for what we are asking. Without this rare early gas mantel lamp. Good overall condition. The Beautiful 10" Coleman. Aladdin style shade has no chips or cracks. The nickle font has some dings. The name plate on the top center of the font is rusted, but still legible. There is not pump to pressurize white gas and no mantels to light, the rest seems to be here, but it is not a working light without the pump or the mantels.
