These are one of the finest and most ornate pair I have sold in a very long time with gorgeous large ornate Rococo style Candlesticks marked Wm A. Rogers. S.P. Lead. They are Silver Plated Lead which makes they very sturdy and they won't topple over easily which is important because the Ruby Glass Shades are very beautiful. The Shades are a Cranberry Flash with nice Fern type designs etched to Clear, much prettier than my photos show. The Hurricane Lamps are a great size for display and use measuring 10-3/4" tall over or 4" across the base of the Candlesticks and 3-3/4" across the top opening of the shades. The Silver Plated Candlesticjks are in amazing condition, bright, shiny and beautiful. The Glass Shades are also in very find condition with some minor roughness around the bases that are covered by the Candlesticks and one has a tiny crack that is only noticeable upon close inspection. Brass, electrified wall sconces features detailed carving of tall ship sailing on a wave with ship's sails and flags flying in the wind. Ships mast and sails are painted in black and white with a red star featured on lower right sail(enamel work?and ornate scroll design work boarders the scene. Sconce has smaller"coat of arms like" ornament with red painted center that dangles below candle arm. Inside area of candle holder is marked"pat. pend.and there appear to be other initials located here but cannot make them out. All sconces feature what appears to be original wiring with original Ratner sockets and a switch on plate. There is a wall screw hole in middle of each sconce on wall plate. Single sconce measure approx. 10 1/4" tall ... moreby 4 1/4 inches wide. From candle base to wall measures approx. 5" Double sconce measures approx. 10 1/4" tall by 8 1/2" wide. Weight of double sconce is 2lbs. 5.7 oz. and single sconce weighs 1 lb. 13.5 oz. All pieces are in good vintage/antique condition. There is some wear showing on the painted portions of the ships sails. Double sconce is missing cap on switch. The buyer should assume sconces will need to be rewired due to age. Nice lamps. Work great, sculpted w/ octagonal bases. Shade shown is for reference only. It is torn, and will not be included. Upper hoop also not included(was taken from another lamp for the photo) Measure 23.5" tall overall and are about 6" wide at the base. These things are heavy at about 8lbs each. These are old ones, notice the non-polarized plugs. Only damage(aside from 70's repaint) is one broken tab, as shown. Speaking of paint, I scraped a small area, so you could see the bare metal. Lamp/Ceiling Fixture-Brass-Heavy-Vintage/Antique
This came from a very old estate in Sheffield. Massachusetts. The owners were lighting fixture fanatics. This is 7" Tall with a 6" base. This could have been a lamp base. I say so because of it's weight and a hole on the side for a cord. it looks like someone tried to retro fit it for the wall or ceiling as two small holes in the narrow end are not evenly spaced. It looks as though they were using screws in the holes to hold a glass fixture in place so it could be hung. Antique Vintage Tall Brass Table Lamp Dual Pull Chain 28" Footed Base Heavy
This brass lamp came from an auction in Vermont. A magnet does not stick to the lamp. I am unsure of it's age. I cannot find a maker's mark. It measures 28 3/4" tall(to the very top) and 5 5/8" across the base. I am not sure if the top piece is the original or not. The top piece screws in but can be pulled after being screwed in. The top piece has wear marks. The round flat piece that covers the electric wires on the top does not lay completely flat. I have tried to show this in the 9th picture. It is heavy. Weighs just under eight pounds. The lamp has some wear marks and dark spots, see the 4th through 8th pictures. The spots may or may not come off, I have not cleaned it.

This Cherub/Angel/Putti Lamp is Colorful. Unique and Rare! The winged cherub/putti stands on a metal pillar and marble base holding a torch OF GOLDEN LEAVES FLARING OUT INTO A 3 LIGHT FIXTURE with 3 glass shades. Inside the lamps have cardboard fittings which also dates it. Art Deco. Authentic Period Lighting, interior decorators, bed and breakfast decorators and anyone wanting an authentic period lighting, this lamp could be yours! I have researched for several months now and cannot find another like this with 3 lights. It is a heavy painted metal with marble foot. It measures 24 inches in height. Top width is 16 inches. Base is 8 inches. Wt is heavy at 14 pounds. My best guess is circa 20s maybe earlier! I can see the original wiring at the bottom of the lamp where it has been spliced in a later decade. The original wiring is cloth wrapped ... moreor possibly silk and it has a sheen to it. Works as is. Have to plug it in to turn on. I can send more pictures which show the original wiring if needed. It works like this but you can see the splicing on the bottom so I would definitely have it rewired by your local expert. The last picture shows an area where the 3 cords come through and that area turns. I did not turn all the way and I don't know anymore than that. I have left it alone! The lamp has no serious issues. No breakage or repairs. Quite original with it's beautifully aged patina to the metal but has few areas of the paint scratched. You are offered this pair of antique lamps. Circa 70 years or older. These are thick. Solid, heavy cast brass. May be old Baldwin, certainly good quality. They are 17“ tall, base is 5 1/2“ square. These appear to have been rewired in past 50 years. They work fine. One lamp has“loose” feel to it’s on off switch. The shades are bowl shaped, a pale orange/ amber color. The glass looks hand blown. The light rises above the shade. There are no makers marks on these. They are well made. The condition of lamps and shades is very good. There are some small dents on the top part of the brass. No deep dents, cracks or chips in lamps or shades. This pair of lamps have a mellowed with age patina overall. Very good looking! Antique heavy marble and brass floor lamp base part with feet
This is a very old. Heavy piece in nice antique condition. Marble looks to be 1 1/4 inch thick, measures 9 inches in diameter and weighs 10 lbs. Feet looks to be brass and decorative piece seems to be brass as well. There is a name on bottom that I am unable to read, only can see the last part that says co. but looks to be hand carved or stamped. He looks kinda like a French knight to me,could even be from France for all I know,which I don't know,but could just be! Base is wood.Knight(himself) measures about 33 1/2 inches high/ 13 inches across measured from elbow to elbow across at farthest points.WOOD base measures 10 inches round x 1 1/2 thick.Knight measured from bottom to tip of light bulb on staff/ lance measures 42 1/2 inches tall.CORD is very long and has a on/ off stitch on the cord for ON/ off function.I put a small bulb in,plugged it in,and light DOES WORK. By the looks of it he probably was holding a sword in his other hand(the one not holding the pole/ lance)I don't have ... morea sword for him,this is the way I found him. But you can probably find a sword for him on this site or at a local flea market.You know,those guys that sell the sword replicas? Or maybe you have one for him.You'd need about a 15 or 16 inch sword replica for that hand. Now.I do not know what went on top of the lance/ pole,a globe of some sort I am guessing,I do not know what was there,but a small lamp shade can probably be used to improvise. A couple of issues I noticed; his arm that needs a sword seems to have been repaired as I see evidence of where he was probably had a weld job there(see pics#s 6& 7) In pics#s 8& 9.Seems to have had a weld repair done around the neck area,on front going around to the back. Also I notice two small round spots on each side of his helmet where a visor would probably have been hinged on at one time.But visor is obviously missing as no knight would go into battle with his face exposed,perhaps you can fashion a visor for him if you are good with metal working or know someone who does such work.It's still an awesome piece in my opinion. Magnificent Huge Heavy Antique Bronze Lady Lamp with Crystals
This magnificent antique bronze lamp is exquisite! It shows a graceful Italian lass leaning against a column; from the column is sprouting a tree adorned with crystal prisms. Roses. Grasses and vines are at her bare feet and vines and roses are climbing the column. She is dressed in a peasant shift and dress and has an apron and a mob cap. Extra crystal prisms come with it. Shade was damaged and the decorative finial needs to be resoldered but shade is easily replaced or could be repaired by a professional. If you wished to use it purely as a statue, the lamp fixture could be removed. Statue/tree itself stands an impressive 35” high and 15” wide. With shade it is 54”tall. All measurements approximate. This ceiling lamp shade came from an estate sale at an old country farm house. I do not know the age as I researched this item and could not find one exactly like it. It is quite heavy. Weighing a few ounces under 4 lbs. It measures 12" across and approx. 3.5" high. The design is beautiful with large clear bubbles around the outside center and clear bubbles along the edge. The main part is frosted with clear raised design of bubbles and raindrops. The inside frosted area is small raised dots which gives the outside appearance a unique look. Please note that there are some rough edges along the scalloped edges as well as rough edges along the hole where the hardware fits. There are also some minor chips along the scalloped edges but they do not show up unless looking very close. See all pics for a better description. The hardware ... moreis old and I am guessing the original ones that came with the shade. It is tarnished and can be left to look old or polished for brightness. This is a stunning high quality antique early 1900's solid bronze ornate electric table lamp. Candle holder. it is made from thick solid bronze. rare antique 1800's handmade thick heavy Victorian brass ornate oil table lamp
This is a stunningly rare antique 19th century Victorian handmade brass oil burning table lamp. it is completely hammered and crafted by hand out of thick heavy brass and has a wonderful patina from age. it is extremely ornate an nicely footed with very large solid bronze claw feet. the body is made from thick brass and is has a very ornate hand engraved design wrapping the whole lamp. there are two very large solid brass lion head handles on each side with rings in the mouthes of each. the font is removable and also made from thick brass. it also has nicely engraved detailing. there is a cap for filling fluid and a threaded hole in the top for a burner. it measures 9 1/2 inch stall by 7 1/4 inches wide. it is in nice antique condition just has a couple little dings on the top of the threaded piece. Is a very heavy piece, and has acquired a lovely patina from age. the piece is articulated together from pieces of cast iron and pieces that are hand wrought as well. Antique B H Bradley Hubbard Leaded Glass Lamp iron heavy base mkd 22.5 X 19"
Up for consideration old leaded glass lamp. It measures 22.5 inches tall by about 19 inches in diameter. The lamp has the triangular mark cast in the upper portion of the lamp. The shade is unmarked and may or may not be original to the lamp. There is a collar or inner ring at the top of the lamp that matches the lamp exactly. The base is ultra heavy and is probably made of iron with an additional iron grill or lattice work weight. The base has nice form with vertical lines running top to bottom. The sockets and chains and wiring look all old and original. There may be a few small cracks to to 2 or 3 smaller pieces however they may be just lines of dirt. I purchased this fine lamp at a tag sale. So I don't know anything about it's history, but I can tell you that I have never seen anything like this before, ever. It is unique, and would go nicely in a feminine girly girl room, or a shabby style, or for a lovely grandmother type person. The lamp is very heavy. Weighing 6.5 pounds. The shade is 14" across, and 10" tall. The chain is 29" long. And the electric cord is 140" long. When looking upside down at the lamp. It looks like a bowl. When I ship this lamp. I will wrap it very, very carefully, with bubble wrap, protective bowls around the roses, and at least double boxed. I will make sure that this arrives in one piece!
