Up for bid a beautiful antique pink opaline lamp with double socket solid brass it has three sections the bottom of the lamp measures 8.5 the bowl like that follows measures 9in the smaller is 5in the lamp measures 37.5H the glass itself measures 18 3/4 up to the candleholder or candlecover it's 18.5 the only flaw it has a small flea bite on the gold trimming on the bigger dish as seen in one of the pics up close you have to touch it to notice it. ANTIQUE VINTAGE PAIR HAND PAINTED FRENCH GILT PORCELAIN LAMPS SIGNED LA TOUCHE
Exquisite! This is an extremely nice and rare pair of antique lamps. This beautiful pair features fine porcelain with green glaze paint. And exceptionally hand painted in a floral and leaf pattern. The hand painting is expertly accomplished with beautiful and purposeful brush strokes. The floral design is hand outlined in a gold gilt/gild paint. The porcelain section of each lamp is"footed" in gold and rests upon a circular brass base. The porcelain sections also have a long neck which are also highlighted with gold gilt. There are no manufacturers marks, but the lamps are each signed"La Touche" which is French for"touched" with the meaning of"something that moves you" These lamps certainly will move you as they are spectacular! The pair are in excellent. Antique condition. There are no chips or cracks ... moreto the porcelain. There is no crazing to the finish. The brass bases have an aged patina. The pair retain the original harps and the very heavy and ornate finials. PLEASE NOTE that there are no shades with the pair. RARE LARGE Antique Vintage Italian Tole Gold Gilt Hollywood Regency Table Lamp or Light w Crystal/ Glass Prisms and Solid Marble or Alabaster Base! This is a beautiful and stately Original Italian Toleware piece standing approx 30.5" tall to top of socket. And 43" Tall to top of harp. Loaded with 30 light-dazzling crystal or glass prisms, 15 sets of smaller octagon holding a larger tear-shape Italian faceted prism. The prisms are vintage original and NOT modern additions. The base is VERY HEAVY and SOLID Marble or Alabaster(measuring approx 3" Wide/Deep x 4.5" Tall and is even beveled on the top! What a sign of quality detail! very beautiful and also functional to appropriately weight the lamp down as it is rather tall. There are a couple of small nicks or scratches in one side of the marble which should show in pic 6- ... morenot a chip but small scratches on side w dark smudges. Not significant to us but perhaps to you. The very bottom decorative brass portion of base is approx 5" square. It's in working order(as shown in pics) But sometime the cord is a little persnickety. If you don't move it around it is fine, but sometimes during movement it gets picky. This hasn't been an issue for us as we always left it in one place, but wanted to mention for full disclosure. Likewise, although I had NEVER noticed prior to taking pics and inspecting fully for listing purposes) I think it is actuallly missing one leaf. We've had it for ages and I never noticed this before, even when I originally purchased it, as due to the type of lamp style it could be easily overlooked as I had done. They are from either the historic Windsor Court hotel or the Omni Royal Orleans in NOLA, acquired from a liquidation/renovation project. Antique gilt bronze and cut crystal candelabra. Made in France. 19th century. Probably Baccarat Glass, but no visible signature. From an extremely prestigious estate: William Nelson Camp. Owner of Florida Power, vast real estate and phosphate mines and good friend of the richest of the rich and powerful. These stood on a table with a Baccarat glass and gilt bronze champagne bucket. Very likely the glass is Baccarat as well. It is well cut in a diamond shape that glitters and plays beautifully as the light catches it at different angles. Round base with tubular shaped bronze sides enclosing the glass. From this long stem 4 arms curl outwards. Each with scrolling openwork decoration and fine foliate mouldings curling out from the branches. Drip pans and bobeches all with moulded patterns. This stunning piece stands nearly five feet tall at 58" It has ten lights altogether, three of which are round caged bowls with a small lip that could hold a round piece of glass and act as tables or shelves. The bottom tier of the piece has six lights that shine when plugged in, and there is a twist on/off switch located on the main stem. The top tier of three large florets does not light up and needs a new feed wire. The floral metal'shades' are shaped like lotus or tulip flowers. Each of the three base tables or shelves is 10 1/2 inches inside diameter should you wish to place glass on them etc. Base is twisted metal and has three long legs, it is quite sturdy. French Gilt Bronze Antique Hanging Candelabrum[Antique Chandelier] Late 19th to Early 20th Century Item# 130108SYG12 This is a stunning work in the French Empire style from the late 19th to early 20th Century. Probably c. 1890-1920. Crisply founded and cast with a brilliant gilded surface, the form is highly attractive in the finely balanced details. The six arms of the candelabra trumpet with acanthus foliage flowing above and below in large exaggerated swirls, each arm swelling into the overflowing apex beneath the well of each candle. The lamp is electrified with plastic faux candles in each arm, respectfully wired with as minimal intrusion to the form as possible. Three arms support the hanging of the candelabra, with linked chain rising from the flowing foliage above each of these three arms- one arm has a slight upward bend as a result ... moreof years supporting this weight and at some point it should be re-soldered for strength, though currently it does not cause any problem with the structure. The bottom of the lamp terminates in a large pineapple form, the top cresting in a magnificent flame finial. We very infrequently come across hanging candelabra of this form that we like- this piece is an absolute treasure. In rare condition and of very fine quality. This is a piece that will set your home apart. It should be examined by your local lamp dealer for rewiring, cleaning and strengthening of the arm, but is a strike-point piece that is well worth the investment for a lifetime of enjoyment. The glass is further enhanced with two different hand painted portraits/scenes. The first scene is of two 18th Century lovers in an intimate embrace. The lamp is not visibly marked(I did not take it apart to look for marks) It does, however, have the look and character of Sevres. The lamp hardware is also exquisite. It is French Dore(gilded bronze) with exceptional and ornate design. The base features a raised square section where the glass body rests. It is adorned with a very stunning overlay of thick gilded bronze in a curved Acanthus leaf and Neoclassic pattern. This section creates the footed design of the base. There is a circular dore Acanthus leaf spacer at the top of the glass section as well. The lamp is completed with a beautiful silk shade. The shade is ecru to cream in color. The silk is patterned in a tone on tone fashion with rose bouquets. It is also fluted with an 8 sided design. Each section is borded with bric a brac as is the top and bottom. They feature toleware bases which are adorned with 4 toleware cameo medallions. The lamp bodies are exceptionally lovely. The lower section feature figural statues of the"Three Graces" or"Gratiae" These beautiful ladies are bisque porcelain. The trio are holding a large. Gilt and painted porcelain vase. The vase is quite ornate and detailed. The fronts and backs have delicate pink and yellow flowers and gold gilded accents on a black background. It is a heavy, gilt/gilded iron tole, with a purposeful, rubbed finish. The finish allows the black iron tole color to be revealed and adds to the gorgeous, aged look of this lamp. The lamp base is raised and features three, very long dolphin or koi fish. The trio are perched on curved acanthus leaves. Their fin sections are exaggerated and repeat the acanthus feature. This extraordinarily well painted lamp in the Sevres manner is unmarked and dates from the middle 1800s. Every freckle of the decoration is hand painted with no transfers and the genuine gold rococo-inspired borders are slightly raised. It measures 28” tall overall on its 6” square embossed brass base; 12” tall x 6” the original bronze mounted porcelain portion alone. The main portion dates from middle 1800s and formed the main portion of a banquet lamp with removable font. The cast metal has beautifully finished roses and open work with scant traces of original fire gilding and the porcelain is free of cracks and chips and undue wear to the gorgeous designs. They were found in the attic at an estate sale. The relative on hand said she remembers her father taking them apart at some point and he found the Limoges mark on the bottom of the urn which is not visible because they are mounted on a marble base. Both are in working condition but have the original wiring so you may want to have them rewired. They have some aged wear such as the marble bases have some chipping on the edges. They could use a good cleaning but I will let the new owner of these beauties do that as I do not want to cause any other damage. antique hanging lamp hall light curved chipped ice glass and gilt metal French
working condition. Actually a hall fixture but was being used as corner pendant in small room. It is about 28 inch long top to bottom and the light is about 7 inch across. the part that is up on the ceiling is actually about 7 inch deep and the chain and pendant make up the difference to 28. the glass is like a chipped ice and is curved as you can see in photos and it is individual panels not just one piece. from an estate we are currently working with. It is not as new condition as it is 100 years old but it is in very respectable shape the glass is all good as well. The Lamps are the finest quality Pair I have sold in years being Richly Gold Gilded Cast Bronze and featuring superb Cut Crystal Glass Icicle Prisms. I was told the house they came from was built circa 1920 and there was original fixtures. The Lamps are far nicer than my photos can show and I am sure the new owner will be most impressed. The Lamps or Mini Chandeliers are also a great size for use in any home or apartment measuring 10-1/4" tall by 6-1/4" wide. The wiring looks good but I was unable to test them so I can not comment on whether they actually work or not and I would personally rewire them anyway. The Sconces are overall in excellent condition. They could use a good cleaning and there is some minor chips to the prisms as I am sure would be found on most any example of this age. Whether you're working with a French Provincial or Hollywood Regency theme; perfect for tables or desks or nightstands in your antiqued boudoir. I have included one or more photos that show the shades that were ... morein place when I acquired these; the old shades are not included in this auction but you can have them if you want them(more on that below) These are obviously very old as far as electric lighting goes; they have the old round electric plugs that should easily date them to the first decades of the previous century. They are fully functional as shown in photos. Although one has a temperamental switch that likes to be"just so" when turned on. Absolutely gorgeous when you see them- soft turquoise-blue and fawn tan porcelain base is accented in pinks and all-over gold gilt and European wildflowers. Tulips, jonquils, tiny roses, etc. There are tiny little raised white accents within the flowers, decorating the stamen and the rough open edges of some flowers, kind of pate sur pate. There is faint crazing that is not visible unless you're really determined to find it. The gold gilt is 95% present, with just a bit of rubbing-off of the gilt on the handles. I have been able to discover NO chips, cracks, nicks or repairs of any kind. The handpainted patterns are repeated on both sides of the vase forms. The lamps are mounted on really heavy brass or possibly bronze bases;

It has some staining to the marble. Minor losses and pitting to metal surfaces here and there, some tarnish and corrosion to the metals, spots of wear to the patina, light surface scratches and scuffing throughout, as well as other signs of light wear consistent with age.
