NO RESERVE! Very fine and very well made hanging light fixture circa 1930s and possibly French in origin. Unmarked that we could find. We have also been told that the lamp could be Italian or even Spanish. What is certain is that the lamp is one beautiful piece of functional art! It is comprised of bronze, painted white cast metal, brass and a woven basket of wire forming the inner portion. Attached to the wire frame are numerous mold-blown multi-colored glass flowers and all are accounted for. They each glow nicely once illuminated and you can add a dimmer switch for a softer mood lighting effect. The overall condition is very good and the lamp is ready for use. Exceedingly rare French Art Deco lamp dating to the 1930’s, a literally breathtaking example of the unparalleled artistry of French Art Deco lighting. An exceptionally impressive statement piece for the discerning collector. The shade is signed Etling. France and is made of the truly extraordinary opalescent glass for which the French glass masters of the era became world-renowned. As can be seen in the photos(unenhanced in any way! when lit– but also when unlit. In natural daylight– the shade"morphs" dramatically right before one’s eyes: the thick ice-blue/white glass captures the light from within its depths. RARE ANTIQUE ART DECO FRENCH CHINOISERIE RED GOLD TORCH FOO DOG DRAGON LAMP 43"
TRULY. ONE OF THE MOST INCREDIBLE LAMPS WE HAVE EVER COME ACROSS! This is a very special, OLD(1920s at least) cast iron with brass or spelter, large table or floor lamp. The lamp has an overall French design and the color palette is a beautiful pattern of red and gold. The raised base is circular with three small cabriole legs. Atop the base is large and tall, French styled, candlestick or torch with flame. This feature towers above two Foo Dogs/Dragons and the light housing is at the top. A large, old, crackled amber glass shade rests on top of the torch. The large bobeche is beautifully crafted and features a series of Fleur de Lis which are fashioned with acanthus leaves. The dragons are seated on the base as well. They face opposite directions so as to guard from all angles. One of the dragons is a beautiful Jade green. He is seated upon ... morea raised column or pedestal which has the same bobeche design as the lighted torch. The second dragon is a unique black to midnight blue combination color. He sits directly on top of the base. Both of the Foo Dogs/Dragons have yellow painted eyes and INCREDIBLY ORNATE detailing which is gold gilded. They wear large breast plates and headdresses of gold and their rear legs are accented with acanthus scrolls and floral medallions. Their teeth are bared and their expression is fierce. The jade dragon has a plume tail feature while the black dragon has a more nondescript tail. There are chains attached to both the torch and the pedestal of the jade dragon. These attach to the base. The dragons are bolted to the base as is the torch. There are so many intricate features to this lamp! All of the pieces are thick cast(VERY HEAVY) The base is a thinner metal. The dragons/foo dogs are a heavy, cast material but do not accept a magnet. The bobeches are thick brass(painted) and do not accept magnet either. Antique Pair French Style Metal Figural Art Nouveau Table Lams Man & Woman
This is a antique pair french style metal figural table lamps. These lamps have a wonderful design. Detail, and look. The lamp with the man standing on top of a world globe and he is in robe like clothing with a red bird in his hand. The entire lamp from base to top of the finial stands approx 36" The lamp with the woman also stands approx 36" tall. She is standing on a ship like steering wheel with waves coming along side the wheel. She is also in robe like clothing and has a bird in her hand. I have looked the lamps over and I do not see any breakage. There is as you see in the pictures paints loss over the figural bodies of these great lamps. They are still wonderful in the condition that they are in or you could have them refinished. Like with all antique lighting they will need to be rewired. The woman lamp does have a plug ... morethe man lamp does not. I am unsure of the marker of these lamps because I have not found any markings. Antique French Art Nouveau Art Glass Cameo Enamel Oil Kerosene Lamp Legras?
Beautiful art glass oil lamp. Unsigned. Believed to be french from 1910-1920's. I found a picture of a piece of Legras in one of my books that is very similar but I can't say for sure. Wide& heavy base measures 9 1/2" wide by x 5 3/4" tall to threads. With burner it measures 8" tall.The burner was converted to electric. Knob is missing. Burner probably need to be replaced. I bought it because of the glass. Glass is a beautiful sea foam or bluish-green color. Gold enameling accents the the top& bottom of the base. No chips or cracks. The glass does has a dark mark that measures 2" long at the base(see last 2 pics) I have made no attempt to remove it. Not noticeable from the front. No chips or cracks. Hello- This is a gorgeous true French Opaline Lamp. It is double-walled glass. Beautiful clarity and depth. The White Sugar Frosted design is in great shape, with the design repeated on both sides. Really at first glance I thought that they were Cherubs- so this lamp is very subtle. The base and fixture are a little tarnished which is typical for antique lamps. The shade is not included. Antique French Art Nouveau lady figurine lamp and mirror vintage old
Up for auction is an absolute beautiful Art Nouveau cast lady lamp with mirror. Does not have the original shade and electrical cord. I am a collector of the arts and crafts movement and picked up this piece about 20 years ago at an estate sale and am ready to depart from her. The cord has a break in it(see photo) but it worked up until the break just recently. The glass shade looks like it was replaced at one time but it is the original shade when I purchased it 20 yrs ago. The lamp has a wonderful patina to her and she might be bronze but more than likley a casted piece. She does weight over 15 lbs. I really don't know if she is caste bronze. The leaves and rod that hold the lamp are bronze. She stands 30" H and and 11 1/4" wide. Description: Pair: Antique French Art Deco Glazed Pottery Duck Figures Mounted as Table Lamps. C.1930s France. Designed by French sculptor, Raoul Eugène Lamourdedieu, the glazed pottery figures modeled in the form of stylized ducks perched on rectangular plinths, the surfaces decorated with blue and teal spirals against a gold ground. Each figure mounted to custom Asian style brass stand with"cracked ice" type latticework apron, the back of each stand with shaped post terminating in a single light socket with harp and finial. The underside of each figure signed: LAMOURDEDIEU" and"Made in France" with impressed maker's mark: EVOLUTION" Dimensions: Full Lamps(top of finials) 22.5" high x ... more8.25" long x 4.5" wide. Lamp Bases(top of ducks) 12.6" high. Total Weight: 8.125 lbs. Condition: Overall. The lamps are in fair/good condition with appropriate signs of age. The cords are cut and the lamps will need to be re-wired. Both ducks have been restored, with gold over painting to the surface(the necks appear to have been broken) the interior of the necks filled with plaster and fitted with long screws that are threaded to secure the figures to the lamp bases. This is a very rare Museum quality Art Nouveau ceramic Lamp. It is in fact the very epitome of Art Nouveau with its oversize Large poppy flowers. The quality of the piece can be seen in its fine bronze mountings. Beautiful antique french art nouveau figural dressing table lamp from the early 1900s. The lady leans over an oval wreath ornamented with intricately cast flowers and leaves. A large flower blooms at her feet. This lamp is in wonderfull antique condition with part of one finger missing and a scratch in her arm. These are in the pictures for you to see but are barley noticeable. The lamp has been rewired and works beautifully. The felt on the bottom has been partially peeled off. Approx. measurements are 14 1/2 tall and about 15" wide(shade to shade) She is in wonderful antique condition with age appropriate wear/scuffs to bronze finish and there is one place where the arm has come unconnected to"vine" arm. Both the lamp arm and her arm are very solid and sturdy. So it does not affect it at all except for seeing the place where it separated. It measures 37inchesH to the socket it's 27.5in and it is 27in around the bottom base is 8inches is footed with gothic they look like fish but could be anything else and the brass and openwork is intact no damage. One of a kind Antique Dresser Boudoir Accent Lamp is of a Beautiful Victorian Lady Sculpture Figure in a full Old World Peasant Dress carrying a Primitive Gathering Basket. She has a very pleasant face and lovely smile and is quite stunning. The pot metal is painted with a golden bronze aged patina, so charming and beautiful. This lamp is in good working condition but does have some issues because of it’s age. A rare and beautiful circa 1920 French or Czechoslovakian glass nude fairy lamp with exceptional crystal glass beaded wing decoration. The lamp retains the original early 20th century fixtures and silk cord. The base is black glass. There is a small tight crack in the bottom of the base(see pics. The base of the frosted glass figure has a 1cm edge chip on the back behind the left foot(see pics. This chip is only seen from the back and is not distracting or unsightly. There appear to be five tiny red beads missing from her belt buckle. I have plugged in the lamp and it does function properly. The new owner may want to have it rewired as it is nearly 100 year old wiring. The bulb is not included in the sale and will be removed before shipping. RARE ANTIQUE FRENCH ART NOUVEAU IRON VINE IN BRASS EPERGNE VASE FLOOR LAMP 61"
We are pleased to offer this beautiful. And somewhat rare, antique floor lamp. This towering(61" lamp dates to the early 1900s and features superb details in French Art Nouveau style. The lamp features scrolled wrought iron with an opened, birdcage base. There are 3 blooms on the base which can be used to house taper candles. A large, brass epergne vase extends from the base to about mid point of the lamp. The vase is bronze colored with some muted golden highlights. Gesso accents are present on the vase as well, though some of the gesso has come off over the years. There are 5 tall, willowy vines emerging from the vase. Three of the vines have ribbed leaves and the two tallest vines have smooth leaves. The blooms on the vines house the sockets. The lamp is quite striking and very sculptural in appearance. It is not marked but it is ... moreof very fine quality. It is in good, antique condition. As stated earlier, there is missing gesso in some areas. The iron has a slight rusted patina in some areas. The wiring is very old and, while working, needs to be addressed. The lamp is designed for regular, 100w light bulbs(not the small, candelabra style) This is a beautiful lamp with graceful, elegant lines and form. The lamp is 61" at the tallest vine. Up for auction is a beautiful antique French Spelter Lamp. It has amazing detail and stands approx. 41 inches tall. It was acquired as part of an estate sale so I don't know a lot about it. It has 6 lamps which I believe is very rare since I couldn't find any online with that many. The foundry mark is etched on the back of the girl's skirt. Although somewhat worn. It is still partially visible and says"Collection France. I was told that its age is late 1800s/early 1900s. Given its age, it is still in very good condition. I think it has the original wiring and would need to be rewired. There are a few nicks- please see pictures. This is a fabulous collector's item.

There are a few spots that are missing some paint. But nothing big, and apart from that, no other damage. The figure shows a young lady holding a songbook. Sitting on a bench. The original lampshade was misplaced the last time we moved. These lampshade is a replacement. But it works fine. 28” from base to top of lampshade. 10” in diameter at the base. The whole lamp is made of metal. Not sure what kind, but it’s been painted over. One of her knuckles paint has been lost. And it looks like bronze underneath. This lamp is quite heavy. Antique PAIR FRENCH ART NOUVEAU DECO TALL BOUDOIR COTTAGE VANITY TABLE LAMPS NR: zoom in and examine pics and please read ENTIRE listing before bidding) Very nice. Matching, pair of lamps. Each measures 17 1/4" tall; each has a 4 5/8" diameter, brass, foot; each has a 3 1/4" tall, tapered, pink, porcelain, pedestal with French gilded scrolls/crest and a gilded edge; each has a 10" tall, fluted, glass/acrylic mid-section. Each works and each cord is fine, just a little dirty. Bulbs are not included; I used clear and amber just to show the difference; round and/or tubular would look good, too; add a shade if you like. No loss to the porcelain or its gilded/enameled motif; slight spots on brass bases(polish/leave alone) each weighs about 2 lbs. Collect, use, display, or gift. Vintage French Figural Table Lamp Signed L& F Moreau With Made in France Seal Wonderful large Art Nouveau L& F Moreau signed figural metal lamp from France. Which will grace any living room beautifully. We believe it is from the 1900's or 20's. L&F Moreau were two brothers who were part of the Moreau dynasty of sculptors from Dijon France. L&F Moreau were perhaps best known for creating highly ornate clocks and garniture sets in both bronze and spelter. The L stands for Louis Auguste(1855-1919) known for bronzes and metal sculptures. The F stands for Hippolyte Francois(1857-1930) a painter and sculptor. It is quite large and heavy. It features a young boy in the field. Condition: Excellent Lamp is excellent working condition! 16 cmX16 cm for the bowl total: 44 cm with electric equipment circa 1930 made in France by Degué Nancy Verrerie D'Art Degué Degué was the brainchild of the enigmatic David Guéron(1892– 1950) Born in Turkey to Spanish Jewish parents. He fled scandal at the age of 22 by joining the French Foreign Legion in 1914, only to be sent to the Western Front, where he was wounded and then pensioned out of the army. Following the 1925 Exposition des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. He set up his glassworks in Compiègne, about 50 miles northeast of Paris, to produce tableware and other functional glass. Compiègne had been the site of the Great War Armistice. In 1926, the year after the successful Paris Exhibition, Guéron moved into the more lucrative production of French art glass. He opened Verrerie d’Art Degué in ... moreParis, a glassworks at Boulevard Malesherbes along with a gallery at 41, avenue de Paris to promote the art glass he named“Degué” His cameo glass designs leaned heavily toward natural motifs, but also used brilliant colors that became his signature. His internally decorated vases, lamps and lampshades met instant success. Another Degué line used a sandblasting method to decorate monochromatic vessels with graphic devices and designs. The Degué factory made vases. Paper weights, bowls, perfume bottles, stemware items such as liqueur glasses, lightshades, chandeliers, art glass lamps, and half-round ceiling lampshades. These shades were composed of translucent layers of colourless glass internally decorated by swirls of colour. Degué glass was destined for the collections of the few privileged Americans and French able to afford them. These extravagant works were rarely seen outside the homes of such collectors but influenced the taste and fashions of the day through their appearance in exhibitions and magazines of the late 1920s. Up for consideration is a fine Possibly French German or Austrian Bronze Art Nouveau Figural Nude Bronze Candlestick. The piece measures 9 1/4" X 5 5/8 inches wide 4 3/4 inches deep. The casting. Form and attention to subtle detail is second to none. The young nude woman is embracing a large shell that holds a candle. The interior shows a bolted together bronze work of art.meaning it was cast in pieces.complicated. with a focus on overall design and attention to detail with notions of design based on economy and efficiency in mass production being secondary. The girl has a world wind of sea water around her lower extremities masking her legs although her calves and feet can be seen as she stands literally bonded with natural elements. She has a face that is very easy to look at along with proportional hands and an overall natural relaxed ... moredisposition in relation to her surroundings. The piece is unsigned but is probably French German or Austrian in origins and dates from the latter part of the 19th Century. No visible repairs.
