Top globe is 10 inches high& 10 inches across. Bottom globe is 6 1/2 inches high& 10 inches across. Lamp has the number 202 on the bottom. Does not have any other markings. The lamp is typical of lamps made circa 1880's- 1915. It does say Made in US America on the wick knob. It has a couple of small chips on the bottom of the top globe, they cannot be seen when top is attached to lamp. Beautiful hand painted daisies. The lamp has been electrified and lights up top& bottom. Cord is going bad, should be replaced. I would consider any fair offer. We are very pleased to offer this Edward Miller& Co. Meriden, Conn. Oil or Kerosene Banquet Lamp. Font. This Font has never been electrified and has the original Burner and Shade Holder. It is Brass and. Again, has never been electrified. The Burner is marked on the top of the Flame Spreader with the Miller Logo. The oil filler cap is not marked. The Wick lifter does work and moves easily up and down. Please see the photos that show it in the up position and in the down position. The Font top is highly embossed and in one section is marked: THE MILLER LAMP. On the inside column that holds the flame spreader there are the following Patent Dates; PATD. Antique glass oil lamp electrified/muslin shade. Gorgeous looking.
This was tagged a antique whale lamp that was electrified. It has a nice muslin shade with a great design in the fabric. The shade is a little soiled in 3 parts of the shade. I would turn that side to the back. Of course you have to look to notice due to the color of the fabric. I would not hesitate from using it just the way it is. It measures 10 1/2" from the bottom of the lamp to the bottom of the brass socket. Like I said the tag said whale lamp but you look it over to make sure that is the style. Gives off wonderful light because its a tall one and the shade is beige. Any questions please ask and thanks for looking.

Antique Gone with the Wind Lamp electrified vintage perfection
Here is a gone with the wind lamp that I had electrified and a custom made shade. It measures: 27" high including chimney and shade; 13" from bottom to top of prongs that holds the chimney; 9 1/2" bottom to brass rim; iron base is 9 1/2" foot to foot; bowl is 9 1/2" diameter at widest part. The colors are green and pinks. Yellows with tulips on 2 sides. One side shows some light blotches,not white, just lighter within the base colors. The shade was very costly, very elegant and finely made, it is still perfect, no stains or fadeing. It is 14 1/2" diameter from point to point and the top opening for chimney to stick out is 8 1/2" across. The base is cast iron, font and rim around font are brass as is the burner. Elegant floral sprigs adorn both sides of the lamp and the base is a nice unique style that I am sure you will love. No chips. Cracks, fractures that I can see. May need a little more cleaning. The cap does come open but the canister that you'd put the oil in does not come out. Just for those who would want to turn it back into an oil lamp. It does say Made in US America on the wick knob. It has a dark spot like paint on top globe near metal ring the size of salt grain see next to last pictures so you can see it on the top globe. A nice antique. Circa 1850, identified as by Dietz, solar oil lamp base. The floral pedestal and font are bronze, the spacer between the marble blocks of brass. It has been electrified, with the burner removed, a collar is also soldered on to the font. A hole for the cord to exit is on the top marble block. As presented it measures 17-1/2 tall by 5-1/2" bottom diameter. The original ormolu finish to bronze is worn off.

This beautiful antique"Gone With the Wind" style Victorian oil lamp has been converted to electric. The shade of green shows a little light in the pictures; it's a pastel lime green. No shade. Works great. But needs a quick repair, as the bulb socket is depressed(sinking into the body of the oil well) and needs to be pulled into position. I don't want to take it apart since I know nothing about repairing these. Handpainted multicolor floral design on both sides, bottom metal stand is impressed FC CO on one side and 617 on the other. No chips or cracks, in lovely condition. About 12.25" in height, not including the bulb.

Antique Bradley & Hubbard Electrified Oil Parlor Hurricane Lamp Green & Floral
This listing is for a beautiful. Antique Bradley& Hubbard, electrified oil lamp. It measures 16.5" to the top of the socket area and about 6.5" square across the bottom of the base. The bottom of the base is marked with the number 311. The tank knob is marked B&H, and the wick knob is marked: Pat Applied For. The lamp has a pull chain switch. We have tested it, and it does work. When the converted the lamp, they didn't damage the tank, so it can be converted back to oil. If you look at the last photo, you can see that there is a split in the ring that fits over the base of the lamp. The plug end should probably be replaced, it's old, and the cardboard piece that covers the opening is missing. Shipping is based on 14lbs, packed weight.

Here's a really nice antique GWTW or banquet lamp! This style is seldom seen as most GWTW lamp feature a round base section. This one has been electrified and has a night light in the hand painted milk glass base. There is a 3-way switch mounted on the very ornate cast iron base. The lamp stands 15" high to the brass rim. And about 20" high to the top of the electric socket. The lovely base measures 7 1/4" square. For restoration purposes. The brass font appears to be in good shape, free of holes and cracks. I don't think it would take much to restore this beauty back to kerosene. The wiring. Switch and sockets are in good working order. A beautiful old lamp in need of a good home!

Antique Pair Of Church Altarsticks Electrified As Lamps
Here is a wonderful matching pair of antique altar or church candlesticks retrofitted and turned into lamps. They are alabaster and I believe bronze or brass. Not sure, very heavy and cast. There are several chips to the alabaster columns and age wear and patina to the metal which makes them even more unique instead of reproductions. The little spires can be twisted off as shown and the columns can be turned too. These were wired professionally by a lamp store about 7 years ago. The shades are not included, just to show how they would look with shades. They also have new gold color wood lamp finials to top them off. They are 33" high and the tripod bases are about 6" across. This is an antique hanging oil lamp. The lamp is being sold as is for parts or repair. I looks like the previous owner made a poor attempt to electricfy the lamp. There is an electric cord that can be pulled out. And you can take the top of the glass oil lamp and put another font/burner on. Pair of Antique Glass Kerosene Oil Lamps Electrified
This is a very handsome pair of oil lamps made of cast glass; they are very old and the tiny mold imperfections show this. The lamps appear to have been originally intended for whale oil from the narrow shape of the font. They are electrified with up to date wiring and hardware. This conversion can be easily reversed by unscrewing the electric socket and replacing it with a burner and wick. The lamps stand 12" tall to the original brass top; 15" to the top of the electric socket and 17 1/2" to the top of the shade. The shades are in fine shape and are decorated with cut out pattern or schnitzen. Your purchase will be carefully packed and will arrive in perfect shape.

And are Rococo Revival. They were probably electrified in the 1960's. They are made of metal, probably a type of spelter, and have a dark patina finish. They are in good condition for their age, but a bit dusty. There is an old stress crack st the base of one, best seen in photos 15 and 16, but they are stable, and it is not noticable without close inspection, but I mention it for accuracy- They are a bit dusty. A very fine antique. Circa 1890's-1930's, French porcelain banquet lamp base, either an oil lamp electrified or designed as electric in 20th century. It is hand enamel decorated and gilt accented. It is in working order with new cord and plug, switch on the socket, and includes the brass socket and harp, no finial. Marked in the underside faintly: Made in France, Hand Painted, and crossed"L's" for King Louis. From harp down to bottom measures 34-1/2" tall by 10-1/2" bottom diameter. The lamp porcelain is 21-1/2" tall. Excellent condition: porcelain without chips or cracks, bolted construction, enamels and gilting are unworn.

A very fine antique. Circa 1890's, brass hanging oil lamp with cranberry hobnail font surrond and half moon shade. It retains its chain pulley system, and the usually missing brass smoke bell. Has been electrified, with the new cord entering the font area through the fill cap. The lamp fixture is complete with brass ceiling canopy and cast iron loop. The wiring extends for ceiling connection. From canopy down to drop pull finial measures 37" tall. The shade measures 13-1/2" diameter by 9" tall. The hobnail glass surround for the brass font is 4-1/4" tall by 6-1/2" diameter. Excellent condition: glass shade and font surround without chips or cracks. All brass parts complere and in original patina. The shade frame originally had cut glass prisms and beads hung from it(none available.

Antique Bronze? Candelabra Lamp 1800's 9 Candles Electrified Yrs Ago
Looked all over but could not find a maker's mark on this gorgeous candelabra that was electrified many years ago(note frayed cloth cord) Someone glued a glass or Plexiglas spire to center candle holder so that needs to be taken off and white cardboard candle/bulb holder replaced. There are a couple of repairs that were done ages ago(one candle holder reattached and one arm reattached) I would say this probably dates from late 1800's and looks to be very Eastlake in design and decoration. I am not an expert on lamps though. This lamp is well worth restoring as electric one or just as an old candelabra used at a time before electricity.Measures approx. 17 1/2" high not counting center spire and 10 1/2" wide.

This is SPECTACULAR! What a unique design! This ornately ensconced lamp has a formidable dragon sitting atop what would have been the oil font done in black. The base is done in an elaborate floral/acanthus design. A gorgeous and very heavy converted Argand lamp. The base is quite solid and sturdy. The underside is hallmarked but I can only read half of it. It is stamped"Birmingham" on one side and"cliff" on the other. I wish I could find any information about this piece. But I have had no luck. Any information would be greatly appreciated. All the metal work is in wonderful condition. The shade frame is in perfect shape but the silk has rotted and needs to be replaced. The cord is the original silk wrapped cord and also needs to be replaced. Antique Electrified Kerosene TRIPLE ANGLE LAMP NY Ceiling Hanging Railroad Oil
PLEASE READ ALL THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY. This is a very old ceiling fixture and there is a lot to describe. This is a very old Kerosene Triple Angle Ceiling Lamp that was reportedly from an old Railroad Depot Station. I purchased it at an estate auction with the intention of using it in an old Victorian House that I was working on at the time. But life changed my direction as it sometimes does. So I no longer have the house and no need for the fixture. When I purchased this at an Estate Auction. I was told of its origin but have nothing in writing. It was electrified when I bought it. Measurements: If I measure from the center of the fixture to the outside edge of a globe.it is approximately 12"so the fixture is an approximate 24" circle. The height from the bottom of the lower finial to the upper hoop is approximately 19" ... moreAlso included is a modern ceiling ring with a plug installed(see image) and a hook so you can hang and plug in the lamp. If you want it lower you will have to add a chain and more than likely lengthen the cord depending on how low you want it. As an added note.I was going to reroute the cord through the center of the fixture and change the color of that cord to black so it would be less noticeable. As explained earlier the lamp was electrified before I bought it. I hung it temporarily from a cord and plugged it in and as you can see in the pictures it lights up. After closer examination of the sockets and wiring I would advise you go through the wiring carefully before installation as a couple of the sockets are loose and it never hurts to be safe. Electrifying these old gas fixtures can be challenging. But at least you have that part done and if needed lamp parts are plentiful at your local hardware store. Also, Light Bulbs are not included. I used clear bulbs for imaging but you may have a different idea. Imperfections. This is a very old fixture. It is not perfect. Antique GWTW Hurricane Oil Lamp Hand Painted Electrified Pink and White
This antique Gone with the Wind hurricane lamp has been electrified and has a turn key off/on switch. It stands about 18.5" tall to the top of the globe type shade. The electric cord hangs from the socket. Not out the bottom of the lamp. It has a ornate cast metal 5" square footed base. The white milk glass body was hand painted with an orchid like bloom and has a smaller flower on the back side. The 9" globe type shade is white with a blush of pink color at top and bottom. It could use a chimney which is not provided with the lamp. The shade is unpolished and has rough edges at the top and bottom. The top hole has a small chip on the inner edge. Bulb is not included. Brass oil lamp, Middle East, Electrified, Antique
Old. Electrified oil lamp from Middle East. Maker's label says K. Horchid, Teheran(Tehran) I do not know the age of the lamp or any other history. Not a table lamp. Lamp hangs from wall. Cord appears new. Cord has on/off switch. Lamp takes a small base incandesent bulb or a small base LED bulb. Lamp is in excellent condition. Very few light scratches on the oil vessel. Fine work on the base of glass holder is in excellent condition. The solder work to insert an electric lamp base appears quite old. As if it was done some time ago. This item was donated to the High Desert Humane Society Thrift Store in Silver City. New Mexico. All proceeds from thrift store sales go to spaying and neutering of cats and dogs in Grant County. Antique Cranberry/Ruby & Brass OIL LAMP Banquet/Parlor Electrified 1850-1899
This is a stunning lamp and pictures just don't do it justice but be sure to look at all of them as they are part of this description. This is an oil lamp that has been converted to electricity with the on/off switch on the cord. The center cranberry or ruby glass portion has 1" x 2" panels all around it and sits on top a brass shaft atop a really solid ceramic base. The original knobs on the brass burner both have a sailing ship etched in them. The shade is a frosted globe with a brass looking rim and measures 10" high and 9" in diameter. The shade is the widest part and it stands 29" tall to the top of the chimney. It is extremely heavy. Weighing 8 lbs 7ozs, and will require some special packing and shipping so do not pay until you have received an invoice which includes the correct shipping. Charming late 19th Century(1875) Victorian Oil Lamp. Electrified. Beautifully moulded font is decorated with 6 raised drops, between each is a delicate raised white enamel painted flower with gold gilt leaves. The base is black enamel glaze over metal on which sits a brass foot leading to a brass reeded column. Gorgeous etched glass shade and a flat sided clear glass chimney. Overall measurements are 26"h to top of chimney, lamp alone is 16"h base is 7.25"dia, shade is 5"h x 8"dia and chimney is 10"h. It is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. ANTIQUE HANGING VICTORIAN PARLOR OIL LAMP PROFESSIONALLY ELECTRIFIED - MUST SEE!
This is an antique Victorian Hanging Parlour/ Parlor Lamp that hung in our formal dining room in New York State. The home was built in the late 1880s. And had all beautiful antique lighting. This was originally oil/ kerosene, but it was professionally changed over to electric, and could easily be put back to oil, as no damage was done to the lamp itself. I of course, do not have the burner portion. The glass oil reservoir is beautiful and embossed. On 4 places on the reservoir, are 4 embossed diamond designs amidst the vertical designs. May be a makers mark. I don't know who made this, but it's beautiful. This hangs from the ceiling, and originally one would pull it down towards the table when in use, and raise it up towards the ceiling when not in use. This has been modified but I was told that too, can be changed back to original. ... moreNow the wiring goes up through that mechanism, which somewhat hides it from view. This is a beautiful piece, and is in excellent condition, for its age. Some of the brass finials are bent, as you can see in the third photo close-up. They can be straightened, but I'll leave that to a professional. The prisms are iridescent, and beautiful. The reason we are selling this, is because we moved from our Victorian NY home, to the south, in a modern home, and it just does not go with modern. My photos do not do this justice. BEAUTIFUL 26" HIGH ANTIQUE BRASS BANQUET OIL LAMP w/ FROSTED GLOBE - ELECTRIFIED
Up for auction is this beautiful all brass banquet 26" high oil lamp that has been converted to electric. The 7" diameter brass bowl has a raised all-around floral casting on top of a rope-turned stem and 7 1/2" four legged scroll base. The removable font has been drilled to allow the electrical wiring to pass thru it and out the side of the bowl where there is also a hole drill. The electrical receptacle takes a 1" bulb insert. The wiring inside the font has been cut so additional wiring is needed to fully electrify the lamp and plug it into a wall outlet. The frosted 7 1/2" diameter glass globe is beautifully etched with crosses and stars completing the lamp. Weighs 4 lbs. before packaging. A nice find for the collector of antique banquet lamps or for the buyer who wants a beautifully detailed brass banquet lamp ... morewith equally beautiful etched globe to be the center of attention in his or her home or office.

,19 Century antique frontiersmen column oil lamp electrified marble base
you are looking at an original oil lamp this is a bronze colored statue of a frontiersmen on a marble base. Someone has professionally electrified this lamp over the years. although the Shade looks really nice on the lamp. it is not original to the lamp. The shade has couple hairline cracks in it. other than the bronze finish. ANTIQUE RAYO Nickel 1890's OIL LAMP ELECTRIFIED ETCHED GLASS GLOBE
This was an authentic antique 1890's pedestaled RAYO lamp which originally burned oil. Many of these old lanterns have had their nickel plating polished off revealing solid brass underneath; however this one still has the nickel plating on it therefore it has the silver color. This lamp was converted from oil by replacing the wick/burner with a socket and wiring it for electricity. The electric burner holds the glass chimney. The glass shade has flowers and leaves etched on it and has a ruffled rim. I took several pictures of the shade using differing backgrounds and angles in order to capture the etched design which was difficult for the camera to pick up. Be sure to look at all the pictures. The lamp with chimney measures 21" tall. The bottom base diameter is 6" The etched glass shade is 11 1/2" in diameter at the widest ... morepoint.
