Antique Victorian Duplex Brass Double Student Oil Lamp Electric Original Globes
Hi. You are bidding on the most beautiful lamp. It is a Duplex student oil lamp that was converted to electric. You can see by the cord and plug that it is one of the oldest electric lamps you will ever see. It has been tested and did work when I bought it but the cord is super old. I would get a second opinion before you use the cord. The globes are LOVELY and even more beautiful in person. They are in good condition with no nicks or cracks. The globes measure approximately ten inches across at the bottom and 4.5 inches or so on the top. The entire lamp is 27 inches when measured from base to top of chimneys. I believe the chimneys are also original in that they look like old glass and they are the exact measurements of the original chimneys. One of the chimneys has some roughness around the base where it goes into the metal but it is not ... morechipped. If you collect these antique lamps. I think you are going to love this one. There are problems, but minimal. I see that there is one lamp socket that is sort of tipped to one side. There is some difficulty getting the round base for the chimney into the larger frame for the glass globe. But I think that all of these issues are probably just a part of owning a lamp like this. It is rare, original and super, super elegant. THank you.

No manufacturing marks found. Two tone bronze patinas. Base is yellow bronze casting the upper classical urn body is a dark liver patina. I took the base apart looking for identifying larks and showed interior in photos. Light sockets work with original wiring and toggles. this is a slag lamp base from the 1920's sturdy enough to hold a very large slag glass canapy. Only one defect is minor dent in the shadows of side that I backlighted to exaggerate for you to see better. It is not noticable. Found in North Crown Heights. Brooklyn Historic district.

Antique Floral Enamel Lamp Base Superb Quality w/ 10" spider Double Duplex
A wonderful. Antique, floral enameled, table lamp base missing the shade. 12 Photos) The lamp base, 13" high by 8" wide, has the original spider for a 10" matching shade. It is of superb quality and in the Mt. Washington manner.it has an ornate base with worn gilt plating. It was electrified years ago and has a light for the body as well as the top. The burner is a Bridgeport Duplex(double) with an American filler cap.the burner has been electrified. The base has not been drilled through the body and has the old cord with plug(both decent) This was our personal lamp and my favorite.I always cautioned my wife to put it on a safe surface.the table collapsed and destroyed the shade and I didn't have the heart to begin a search for the right top. Chips, scratches or dents. It is electrified but retains the original oil resevoir. The lamp is adjustable up and down and also swivels 360 degrees. Antique Brass Two Candle French Bouillotte Lamp Rare Design. Candle height on this lamp is adjustable. an uncommon feature. I have found no other lamps of this type with adjustable candle height. Height of lamp is 21" x 10" wide. Circumference of base is 7 1/4" Candles can be raised 13" without the shade in place. And about 9 1/2" with a shade. There is no shade included with this sale. This lamp is offered as found with original patina. The wiring and guts are NOT original. It is possible to use this lamp with candles by removing the wiring. I have made no attempt to repair it. And I have tried to show all defects in the photos. SEE PHOTOS In spite of the defects. This lamp is quite repairable, and would be a VERY upscale lamp when finished. The dish base is not straight. And there is a hairline crack in the base ... moreof the dish. Base is still tight and solid. Brass nut under base appears to be hand made. Base of one candle is not tight. Vintage Antique 1920's Double Socket Lamp Base Miller? Pittsburgh? Parts Repair
This double socket lamp dates to the 1920's or thereabouts. Its either a Miller or a Pittsburgh. I've seen this same pattern that appears on the base of this lamp on other signed lamps. This one is marked on the base but is under the weight and I could not get the weight off nor can I see through the weight to see what it reads. Untested as the plug is missing but I see no reason why it wouldn't work as the pull chains snap crisply. The original paint on this one is in pretty nice condition but the vase shaped piece just above the base has 2 dents and the paint is scratched on that part. Antique Victoria Austria Hand Painted Scenic Double Socket Lamp
Up for bid is an Antique Victoria Austria Lamp. This is 21 1/4" tall to the top screw x about 7 1/4" wide handle to handle. The cord has duct tape on the end. So probably should be replaced. I did put light bulbs in and both work fine, one of the chains does not work though. There is a crack by the hole where the cord comes out from the bottom. Antique Double Arm Candelabra We are offering a beautiful candelabra with prisms in various shades of amber and amethyst. Very unique and very pretty. It has two arms each containing 12 prisms. The light sits in the center of each and looks like a candle with a swirled amber light bulb(both bulbs included) The center of the lamp has eight longer teardrop prisms and a center sphere with a rosette. Since this is such an old lamp. You may find a couple of fleabites on the prisms which is consistent with age. The lamp is either bronze or brass, I'm not sure. Antique double student lamp with white shades. Condition issues.
I just purchased at a estate sale. I never checked to see if it worked and it doesn't. Not sure if its the switch or the wiring. You will be buying as is condition. Not working and the brass if possible needs to be polished or refinished. Its a large size being 22 1/4 high and it spans about 19" across. The shades are the same style but the paint either has worn off on one or they were different but it appears to worn. One of them has pink flowers and the other shade does not. They have the chimneys and both the shades and chimneys are without chips or cracks. I would not pack both the shades and chimneys in the same box as lamp. An antique brass wall hanging candle sconce with a central circular mirror. As you can see from the photos the brass is decorated with scrolls. Leaves and berries. There are 2 sconces for holding the candles. The mirror is held in place from the back by a cast iron bracket. There is a hook on the back so that it can be hung from the wall. I would imagine this sconce dates to circa 1900. Condition. Very good. Just the odd minor bend to the edge but nothing that can really be seen from the front. There are some light scratches to the mirror. I have had this wall sconce professionally polished and lacquered so it will stay shiny for years. The sconces detach for easy transportation. Antique Glass Lamp Font Messenger Double Duplex No2 Burners 3 Sockets 35i
Up for bid a really cute antique lamp it's rare but in great condition it has three sockets the burners has a double duplex says No.2 messenger the bottom of the lamp has an M305 have no idea if this would be a model number etc. The glass is very early I saw one alike sold as antique lamp in united kingdom only that one had the same glass as victorian glass but a cranberry color and it was an oil lamp this lamp was probably converted to electrical it's in great condition has no abrasions breakage etc. It measures almost 35 in to the finial and close to 28 to the socket the font is 20in around and it's quit heavy glass with circular lines around rare. The bottom base has embossed floral motif and it has a cast iron on the bottom with M502. THIS IS A QUITE OLD CAST IRON FLOOR LAMP. IT HAS THE TWO DROP LOOKING BULB SOCKETS. IT LOOKS AND WORKS GREAT. THE SHADE IS A REPRODUCTION MADE BY YESTERSHADES IN PORTLAND OREGON. THE SHADE DOES HAVE SOME SUN BLEACHING, PART OF THE GREEN SECTIONS ARE BLEACHED OUT AND LOOK GOLDISH YELLOW LIKE THE REST OF THE COLORING. ANTIQUE EAPG LAMP PRISMS DOUBLE LIGHT AS IS
This is a very beautiful vintage or antique lamp. I am selling it as is. Someone could restore it or possibly use the parts. It could easily just be displayed as it is quite lovely as a decoration in a Victorian setting. The base is Eapg glass. Lovely prisms hang off of each side. Prisms do have nicks here and there. But nothing serious. The style of these prisms is very unique. They have facets cut into them which only adds to their beauty when the light reflects. Nice thing is that it is a double light. Has the original bulbs. But I do not know if they work. I hesitate to plug it in because the cord is the old fashioned fabric type. Lamp shades are quite pretty with delicate etching. No damage to them. Stands 10 inches light to light and 18 inches tall. Definitely would be worth someone's while to clean and restore. Great collectible ... moreand functional piece. ANTIQUE 19th CENTURY FRENCH TOLE PAINTED BOUILLOTTE DOUBLE ARM HARP TABLE LAMP
This is an old antique 19th Century painted tole on metal French or Italian Bouillotte two arm table lamp from wonderful old estate done in a figural musical harp motif. It is 16" tall by 13 5/8" across top and the base is 7" by 3 3/4" It is a mustard color with a scene of figures at Roman like ruins. The scene is different on each side. It has the cord cut off and came with no shade. It has slight wear to the paint on a couple of edges not worth noting. See closeup. I also see a tiny 1/8" pinhead hoe on the base which has a 7/8" scratch with paint loss line that runs from the hole to the lamp body. See closeup. This is in wonderful condition for its age. Antique Reverse Painted Glass Jefferson Table Lamp Scenic Double Socket Base
J efferson reverse painted table lamp. The hand painted shade is 18 inches in diameter and is in mint condition. There are no chips or flakes on the edges and no fractures or cracks in the shade itself. The glass is decorated with an ice chip texture similar to the techniques used by Handel. Although not signed. Based on the design of the woodland scene this lanp has been identified as being part the Prince Charles group as pictured in the Millender books of lamp catalog and is referred to as number L1 888 Woodland Rd. it is also pictured on page 118 in Antique Lamp Buyers Guide by Nadja Maril; Schiffer Publishing. The double socket base appears to have been altered with a different finial top the rewired base measures 26" x 8.5" and there is some scratching and wear on the base as shown in the photos.
