Antique Amethyst Cut Glass Table Lamp
This bright Amethyst colored glass lamp was originally just candle burning when we purchased it many years ago. We had it professionally wired. Without any drilling or altering of the glass, the wire runs down the outside back. Condition is in as near perfect as can be. The brass base was also added when we wired it as a lamp. There were never any chips or cracks that had to be ground out, it is as it was originally made. The glass candlestick is 14 1/2" tall, and 25" to the shade rest, lampshade not included. The socket is for a three way bulb.

ANTIQUE LAMP AMERICAN BRILLIANT CUT GLASS Found in a local estate auction is this beautiful cut glass lamp with a pointed mushroom shade. It dates to the early 20th century. It measures about 17.5" high. Perfect for a boudoir. It is in good condition, no damage aside from minor fleabite chips around the base edge. The prisms are not all original and one is missing. Some have small chipping. This lamp was so dirty that I thought the metal was brass. I thoroughly cleaned it and found under the grime the metal is silverplate. It has a pull chain socket and takes a c-7 chandelier type bulb. The wiring is not original but is still very old and does work. It has an on/off switch on the cord. All old wiring should be checked for safety before use. The socket is marked Bryant. I could not find any other markings. Use my photos for condition ... moredescription. Up for auction is this incredible pair of Antique cut glass lamps with a total of 36 crystal prisms. Circa 1930’s. Both in working order. Each measure 17 ½” high by 10” wide each have a scalloped square glass base with 3 gorgeous scalloped bobeches and 18. 3 ½”crystals pendants. Each feature two light sockets on each side and a gorgeous glass pediment on their tops There is no damage to the lamps. No chips or cracks to any of the glass. The top pediments are in perfect shape which is really hard to find as they are so vulnerable to most anything, these were well cared for and purchased from the estate of a local prominent couple. Antique Oil Lamp Cranberry Glass Cased Cut White Bohemian Moser Hnbd Painted 12"
A gleaming pristine beauty. It measures 12"h complete, including with the glass chimney fitted in place into the brass neck. Individually each unit measures 6"h. There is only a breath of wear to the gold trace line around its corseted waist. Widest diameter is 3 1/4" at just above its base. The true raised foot of the base measures 2 1/2" dia. It is truly a stunning yet subtle little charmer having all the elements of much bigger pieces but an eye catcher even among my art glass collection. I have had this for nearly forty years and always referred to it as a piece of Moser. It is however not marked. Nor are there any markings on the brass work either. Just conjecture. The brass is clean and as long as I've had in a show case just about untarnished. Knob turns and works. Never used by me. She is a heavy little lady ... moreand so flat rate is the best way to go. PAIR OF ANTIQUE ELECTRIC AMBER FLASH CUT GLASS MARBLE BRASS LAMPS
This is pair of antique amber flash cut glass lamps. The lamps are identical and stand straight up(unlike my picutre which was taken on an angle) The glass part of the lamp looks like the old oil lamps and was probably the same pattern and one of the first electric lights. Both are in excellent condition with no nicks. Crack, or crazing on the glass. The bottom of the lamps is marble and measures approximately 4 3/4 inches square. The lamps are about 15 inches high and the glass portion is 5 1/2 inches high and 5 1/4 inches across at the widest spot. These are a rare find in such excellent condition. Cut Glass Oil Lamp Font A very High quality oil lamp indeed. A reeded stepped copper. Brass and china base houses a particularly good triple cut faceted glass font in perfect condition. The font is fitted with a classic hinks/messengers bayonet fitting collar which houses a very good hinks no2 Duplex rise and fall burner. The lamp is finished with an original victorian acid etched reeded globular shade. The overall height of the oil lamp including the chimney is 65cm 25 1/2 inches tall. The shade is just over 18cm tall and 20cm 8 inches wide. The diameter of the font is 17cm just shy of 7 inches. Postage UK £10. Europe £30, USA and Canada £45. It consists on a brass pillar base(not Corinthian as there are no scrolls or decoration to top) marked to the base"J Hinks& Son" and"1781" The base is made with a thick gauge brass as can be seen in the pictures below. The best English cut glass font(hinks ref 192) is made with thick walls measuring nearly 1cm in thickness. The Hinks number 2 burner has a wheeled gallery raiser to allow easy lighting. The tall lamps are hand blown, cut to clear, royal blue glass. These are quality made lamps with attention to detail around each cut- photos do not do them justice. The scalloped edge top is hand cut with notches as shown, the neck or stem of the lamp is cut to clear with clover style shapes which are repeated around the cut base. The 10 cut crystal prisms on each lamp are 2 parts, octagon diamond at the top and long, elaborately cut, 3 sided Prince Albert style drops with spear ends, believe they are original to the lamp however they vary in length some. I could find a mark on either lamp not certain if they are French or Bohemian/Czech. PLEASE ... moreNOTE- These lamps are quite heavy and will be packaged well. Both show some normal age/use wear, no significant damage on lamps, a few minor flea bites here and there, normal shelf wear on bases and one has a hole in the bottom as shown in last photos. There is chipping on the prisms as expected from normal use and age, prisms all have the same notched cut in them but vary in length as previously stated, one of the octagon/diamond pieces was replaced with a round. The crystal wires may need to be replaced- I have not removed them for fear of causing damage. SIZE- Each stands approximately 10 3/4" tall. 6 1/8" across top, 5" across base, crystals with both parts together range from 8" to 8 1/2" long, 1" wide. Also some of the points are nicked but normal for these spears. they are very heavy and really sparkle in the light. Pair Vintage Antique ? Crystal Cut Glass Table Lamp With Prisms Etched Hurricane
I looked over the glass base and did not see any major issues with the glass base. Actually did not see any issues and I looked pretty closely. The one etched hurricane has a crack in the base that can be seen in the picture. Both lamps need to be rewired. Two crystals are missing. I was able to easily take apart one lamp by hand while the other has rust. I want to cut the cords off and part the lamps for safe shipping. Please advise me of any special requirements you might have before buying. Doing an excellent grade A+ job packing is not a special requirement and is included in the price of this item. The bottom square part of the base is 4 1/8" and the top round glass part of the base measures 4 3/4" diameter. 2/21/2014 UPDATE: Based on all the interest and questions I am having in the lamps I decided to cut the electric cords off and really examine both lamps. Two things I have noticed that are note worthy. One semi-pear glass midsection has 4 hairline cracks. The glass is very thick and these cracks do not carry into the inside of the glass. I never noticed these cracks until I really examined the individual pieces looking for issues. The rest of the glass pieces on both lamps look good. One piece of wire that hangs through the glass base is missing. This thin piece of wire allows the crystal to hang from the lamp. The cords are off and ready to have new wiring. The existing lamp fixtures on the lamps look to be in good condition and will work just fine. New wire and inline switch will be needed. 2/21/14 UPDATE: New wire and plugs added. Kept the switches as new ones would not match the quality of the existing ones. Little over 7 foot long cords. All the effort of wiring and costs means I am not likely to accept a best offer

WELCOME! You are bidding on 2 beautiful old electric lamps that I would call composite. They have a marbled base. Brass stem body, and a top body of cranberry red cut to clear Bohemian Czech glass. They do show a little wear on the marble bases, the brass needs shined, and the glass has a couple small nick chips on one. The chips are barely noticeable, and a person had to look really close to see them because of their location in the cut areas. Both of these lamps work great. Need a good cleaning. Measures approx. 30" to the top of the finial and 18" up to the socket. The middle brass is approx. 9" and the marble base is approx. 5" square, and the red glass center is approx. 4" X 5" across. Glass has a small chip 1/4" long on one of the facets near top and silver plate mount has a small crack 1" long. Finial has a missing clamp around glass ball. See photos. Lamp measures 21 1/2" tall to top of finial. Glass portion is 4" tall by 6 1/2" in diameter. Works fine. Shade measures 9 1/2" tall by 12" in diameter. Looks pretty clean. VINTAGE ANTIQUE CRYSTAL CUT ETCHED GLASS HURRICANE LAMPS- ELECTRIC This beautiful pair of boudoir/ mantle lamps is in very good condition and each one works perfectly. Each lamp stands 18" tall with chimney and is 5 1/4" wide. The finely etched flared chimney is not removable and is 9 7/8" tall. The 2 piece teardrop crystal hanging prisms each measure 3 7/8" One of the teardrop prisms is very slightly different from the rest. The upper round prism that it is attached to is original. It is almost impossible to see the difference. The only reason I noticed it was that I felt a slight difference in my hand while cleaning it. One of the chimneys has a small chip on the top rim. It is on the back side of the lamp as shown in photograph#8. Other than the above mentioned chip. There are no other chips.
