Antique Victorian kerosene oil lamp chandelier light fixture cranberry red shade
Spectacular late 19th century pulley kerosene/oil chandelier. Stunning red glass with slight swirl. This light has been electrified and in that process an additional Victorian era lamp canopy was added so this is READY TO INSTALL TO A JUNCTION BOX! The light was also repainted in a period appropriate rich gilt. The pulley action was not altered and it still works(though the wiring will bunch up if you pull on it) No damage to the shade. The cranberry red glass ball shade is 9" wide.

Steel shade harp section measures 9 inches tall and is finished in a golden brass color. Paper lampshade measures 10 inches tall and 11 inches in diameter at the bottom edge. The bases are Crystal Swirl with Cranberry stems. One of the shades has a tiny chip on the top rim and both of them have some tiny scratches(see the pictures. it's all there) There are approximately 6 prisms missing. I might find one or two here before I ship it but figure 6 are missing and will have to be replaced. The national hardware store that starts with a L carries them. The cords are original and should also be replaced for your own safety. We have plugged them in and they do work but I advise replacing the cords as soon as you own them. Antique Hall Lamp Brass Fittings Cranberry Ruby Glass (#3652)
Antique deep red. Cranberry/ ruby glass hall lamp with brass fittings. 19th century, circa 1880- 1890's. Measurements: The round ceiling attachment is 5 1/4 inches in diameter. The top glass fitting is 6 inches in diameter. The glass is approximately 8 inches in length. The bottom fitting drops about 3 inches not including the loop and 5 inches including the loop. Glass is a marvellous rich red colour and is folded in intervals of about an inch. The gold-coloured metal fitting are probably brass and look to be entirely original. On the bottom is a support with a ring and two decorated metal'prongs' that extend inside the glass and are attached to two ends of the chains. In this way. The lamp can be raised or lowered for changing oil or candles. The bottom glass fitting is decorated with moulded and openwork decorations. On the ... moretop is metal colllar with ruffled. Openwork, flaring rim. A pair of chains is attached to this. There are a number of screws for tightening it to the glass. Metal straps run down in decorated twists and turns from the collar. They are further supported by a decorated metal band that runs around the circumference of the glass. Decoration on these long bands is in the form of chased scrolls and foliage. The long chains are attached to the ceiling by a round metal fitting. Similarly decorated to the other metal parts. It has a pair of pulleys for pulling on the chains. One pulley has been replaced. A gleaming pristine beauty. It measures 12"h complete, including with the glass chimney fitted in place into the brass neck. Individually each unit measures 6"h. There is only a breath of wear to the gold trace line around its corseted waist. Widest diameter is 3 1/4" at just above its base. The true raised foot of the base measures 2 1/2" dia. It is truly a stunning yet subtle little charmer having all the elements of much bigger pieces but an eye catcher even among my art glass collection. I have had this for nearly forty years and always referred to it as a piece of Moser. It is however not marked. Nor are there any markings on the brass work either. Just conjecture. The brass is clean and as long as I've had in a show case just about untarnished. Knob turns and works. Never used by me. She is a heavy little lady ... moreand so flat rate is the best way to go. Ruby Cut to Clear Lamp Up for sale is a ruby/cranberry cut to clear lamp. I think it was originally an oil lamp and was converted to electric a while ago. It stands 18 3/4" tall including the harp. The glass part is 5 1/2" high and 3 1/2" wide. It sits on a marble base. I'm not sure if it works as I am afraid to plug it in- the cord is in bad shape and needs replacing. The glass part is in excellent condition with no issues. The brass stem is split in two places. The marble base has a small chip off the corner. Please be advised that shipping to Alaska. A very fine antique. Circa 1890's, brass hanging oil lamp with cranberry hobnail font surrond and half moon shade. It retains its chain pulley system, and the usually missing brass smoke bell. Has been electrified, with the new cord entering the font area through the fill cap. The lamp fixture is complete with brass ceiling canopy and cast iron loop. The wiring extends for ceiling connection. From canopy down to drop pull finial measures 37" tall. The shade measures 13-1/2" diameter by 9" tall. The hobnail glass surround for the brass font is 4-1/4" tall by 6-1/2" diameter. Excellent condition: glass shade and font surround without chips or cracks. All brass parts complere and in original patina. The shade frame originally had cut glass prisms and beads hung from it(none available.

Greetings. We are very pleased to offer this STUNNING antique glass mini oil lamp in amazing near mint condition. I am unsure of the maker. But it came from an antique store storage, and still had a $295 price tag on it from over 35 years ago. The tag said"Antique Blown Molded glass oil lamp- Nailsea? with the question mark, so I leave it up to better eyes than myself to decide if the antique store was correct. I will however be asking close to the same price they asked in 1978. Please see the detailed pics- I hope they do the color and condition justice. The lamp. Burner and glass shade/hurricane are all included as shown in pics. The lamp and burner appear to be original, but it is unknown if the hurricane shade is original. As shown from the bottom of the lamp. The colors swirl in"bubble swirls" around the lamp. The glass ... morethickness varies, and is embossed with swirls on the outer surface and molded leaf crown around the bottom. the colors range from almost white, to almost dark cranberry. The effect of the color is almost like veins. I hope the pics do it justice. It is quite beautiful, and almost perfect in every way. Definitely a prized collectors piece. Antique Cranberry/Ruby & Brass OIL LAMP Banquet/Parlor Electrified 1850-1899
This is a stunning lamp and pictures just don't do it justice but be sure to look at all of them as they are part of this description. This is an oil lamp that has been converted to electricity with the on/off switch on the cord. The center cranberry or ruby glass portion has 1" x 2" panels all around it and sits on top a brass shaft atop a really solid ceramic base. The original knobs on the brass burner both have a sailing ship etched in them. The shade is a frosted globe with a brass looking rim and measures 10" high and 9" in diameter. The shade is the widest part and it stands 29" tall to the top of the chimney. It is extremely heavy. Weighing 8 lbs 7ozs, and will require some special packing and shipping so do not pay until you have received an invoice which includes the correct shipping. They do show a little wear on the marble bases, the brass needs shined, and the glass has a couple small nick chips on one. The chips are barely noticeable, and a person had to look really close to see them because of their location in the cut areas. Both of these lamps work great. Need a good cleaning. Measures approx. 30" to the top of the finial and 18" up to the socket. The middle brass is approx. 9" and the marble base is approx. 5" square, and the red glass center is approx. 4" X 5" across. For sale 2 Antique Cranberry Glass or Cranberry Colored Glass and Metal Waterfall Lamps that measure 18 1/2 inches tall. Both lamps work by plugging them in but the switches do not turn them off and on. At some point these were rewired I believe because the cords are newer and the one cord has the original cord black taped to it as shown in the picture. Each lamp will hold 24 prisms or crystals. I do not have the original ones but these are very reasonably priced on ebay. If you know of someone that can rewire these you would have two stunning lamps to grace your mantel or buffet. About a year or year and a half ago one of these lamps. It was identical, sold on ebay for $325.00.
