Antique G. E. Co. Arts & Crafts Industrial Era Copper & Diffuse Glass Table Lamp
18-1/2" high G. E. looks bronze but is probably copper) lamp which has the old"bumpy" diffused glass held by the copper frame& small rounded brass screws. As shown. would look great with a good looking slag glass) It has no damage, just the patina of age with a few gentle"bumps" at the top corners and edges. All of the glass is intact with no cracks or breaks and the lamp is good, solid and very heavy for its size. I am assuming it is made by"G. E. as the switch indicates or, perhaps, it was just a G. E. switch. The lower edges of the shade measure about 10-1/4" square and the base measures about 4-1/4" square. I think it has its original wiring and cord. Works just fine. it will be shipped as one unit with shade in place.

this is a very rare antique copper and brass converted oil lamp. it has exquisite ornate victorian design. With very intense detailing. it has highly embossed copper designs that run around the base of the lamp. it has beautiful trim. Base and feet. the upper oil container is a large insert. That sits recessed in the base. it was converted to be electric and works great. it can be converted back if desired, it has an on/ off switch on the base. it is in great shape and has a nice patina from age. it measures 12 3/4 x 11 inches. very rare lamp. The finish is very dark and almost looks ebonized. These were supposed to be used to call family members to dinner. A true call from the past. The mallet is probably not original to the chime. It appears that the original was lost. I have seen these before with longer mallets. The chime is in good condition with minor signs of wear including minor scratches on the wood and metal hanger on the back. Antique Arts & Crafts Riviere Copper Overlay Slag Lamp Tiffany Revere Mission
Offered is a beautiful early 20th century Riviere copper overlay slag glass table lamp. This comes from a recent Memphis. TN estate where it was found stored in the attic for the past few decades. The copper overlay retains the original finish with a superb patina and surface. I have not cleaned the lamp or attempted any restoration. There are a number of old repairs and losses. The original finial and top shade cover are missing. Some of the overlay has come loose from the slag glass as is common with these lamps. The lamp retains all the original purple slag and looks wonderful when illuminated. I think it is rather rare to find one in purple as they are usually in green glass. Although the shade is missing the original finial it is still usable as is. It appears that the lamp was rewired sometime in the 50's. I assume that the base ... moreilluminates but I have not tried to get inside. If there are bulbs in the base I am certain they are burned out by now. I placed bulbs in the two main sockets for photographing. Overall the lamp is in good antique condition and would be an outstanding piece with a bit of restoration. Very unusual and nice pair of old. 1920s Copper Stills which have been converted to lamps. Stills are in very, very good condition. Copper is very beautiful and still retains its beautiful luster. At some point, someone has added random patterns of 1/4" tiny tiles in abstract areas. The tiles are a dark brown with a white veining; very gorgeous. Lamps have copper hardware with copper tubing extending through the top to the double electrical sockets. Finials are also copper. This is a very wonderful and unique pair of old copper still lamps! Antique Pair Arts and Crafts,Spanish Hammered Copper Candlestick Wall Sconces
A pair of antique Arts and Crafts Wall Sconces. 920's-30's Hammered Copper Candlestick Holder mounted on a Iron-like crossarm wall bracket. I found these at a local sale. These are not marked and I have no idea who the marker is. Just looking at the contruction and feeling the weight of these sconces at 2lbs. ea.You'll be able to tell the quality right away. I totally took them apart and repainted the wall brackets, tested the sockets and the switches,One had to be replaced and unfortunatly it doesn't quite match the others, but on the good side the switch is hidden in the back of the fixture out of sight(see pic 5) I cleaned the copper dish on the candlestick holder as well as I could taking care not to damage the patina and verdigris. I replaced the socket cover with period dripping wax socket covers. These can be used both ... moreway either as Arts and Crafts or if you want the spanish influence you can use the trim escutcheon that mounts to the fixture with installation screw(see pic# 7) They take a standared base bulb up to 60 watts. Here for sale a Vintage Antique Copper Plated Gothic Monument Style Table Lamp. This old lamp is in good condition for its age with some surface scratches in random spots and will need a good cleaning. Lamp is made of a heavy plaster that is wrapped in a copper plating. I am not sure what the figures on the lamp stand for. Lamp has a great old gothic look to it. The 2 sockets are antique Peerless Patent Pending sockets. Only 1 of the sockets is currently working, the chain on the other one is stuck. Lamp measures about 26in. tall and base measures about 6 1/2in. square. The base stand is wood. The ship is copper and the glass background is frosted. The wood base measures 5"x10 5/8" The entire piece is a hair over 9 3/4" tall. The wiring is the old time cloth from probably the 20- 30s and has to be replaced for safety reasons even though it works. The socket is loose and will need a nut when the wiring is replaced. The fancy pierced brass shade ring is decorated with magenta bakelite beaded fringe in a chevron pattern. The base is mostly brass with a circular copper foot in a border of crosses. Antique "Lectrolier Limited" Bronze over Copper Lamp, late 1800- early 1900 LOOK
This lamp is ancient. I had looked it up several years ago and remember it being one of the first electric lamps made. But unable to find anything about it now. It is unoperatable and needs complete refurbishing. There are some stress/ age cracks as seen in pictures. This lamp probably had a globe glass shade at one time. It is bronze over copper if I remember correctly from previously looking it up. The images I feel are of the great tragedy of the theater. Great theme. Anyway. Very rare and hard to find item. over 100 plus years old. Would be an amazing piece for anyone who collects art. Antique French Champleve Gilded Copper & Brass Table Lamp Paris ca.1880-1890
This table lamp is most unique in its form and design. An antique French Champleve candelabra that was modified to become an electric lamp. It is very beautiful with a gilded copper and brass metal angular body and a large circular face-plate insert of enamel champlevé design on both sides, in the style of the late 19th century, circa 1880-1890 in Paris. The colors of the inserts ranging from light green, dark blue, light blue, black, white, pink, orange, to gold. From its base to its socket, the lamp is 27 1/2" tall and 7 3/4" at its widest. There are five brass tiers on which the champlevé discs sit, and between the bottom tier and the ones above, there are four sculpted"figures" connected with chains, holding up the tiers above. The finial reflects the design of the discs and it is 1 1/2" tall. Weight ... moreof the lamp is 7 lbs. 5.4 oz. The bottom of the brass base is covered in green felt. This type of lamp is very rare, and this one is a particularly splendid specimen. There are signs of age, wear to the gilt and some patina on the bottom tier, which is perfectly normal. It is in perfect working order and in very good antique condition. It would enhance any home décor wherever it is displayed. FOR THOSE INTERESTED, there is a matching lamp to this one, also listed, however with a different colored champlevé design, the colors ranging from light blue, dark blue, green, black, white, pink, orange, to gold.

Incredible! Wonderful old Arts and Crafts Industrial style articulated work or desk lamp. Made from copper with two impressed decorative bands circling the shade and the base. Unsigned. I do not know who made this beauty! Good working order. I took it apart to inspect the wiring and all is fine. The switch is in working order but used. It still has some life left in it. The bulb socket is ceramic so everything should be original. The felt from the base had been removed long ago. The power cord is 40 inches long. It retains all of the original patina suited to a copper product of this age. I really want to polish this lamp but will wait and see if it sells first. This was a difficult one to explain the measurements for so I will reference the photographs. I hope you find it helpful. Photograph one- 12 inches wide by 10 inches high to the top ... moreof the shade. Photograph three- 16-1/4 inches high. Photograph four- 16-1/2 inches wide by 6-1/4 inches high to the top of the arc.
