But the little push button to turn on and off doesn’t. We could not get the girl lamp to turn on. The numbers A566 are on the bottom. No other markings that I could find. 1700's Antique Hand Painted Ceramic with 14 Karat Gold Trim Lamp
I was given this item to sell by someone I know. I'm not 100% sure about it's authenticity. But here's what I was told. This item was made around 1760 by Georg Heinrich Macheleidr, in Germany, before he actually opened his factory as a prototype. It is hand painted with 24 Karat gold trim on the handles and some of the paintwork. Originally this was a candle lamp that was converted to electricity in the early 1900's. The trademark g marking is on the inside on the bottom. Picture is included. As well, the lamp was appraised about 20 years ago for $3,200. No idea what it's current value is on the market, so going with what we know.

And patterned gilding throughout; very likely Russian in origin, but we cannot guarantee. We believe this is gold-plating over white metal. Although the metal in some areas seems to be bronze. Antique Canton blue ceramic ginger jar lamp w/new linen shade - Japan/China
This decorative ginger jar lamp was part of my mother's Oriental collection. She always called Cantonese. But now I'm seeing that the bottom of the wooden base is marked'Made in Japan 86-5. I'm not sure if the jar is Chinese and the wooden base is Japanese, or if she was mistaken about the jar. Regardless. It's a beautiful piece of functioning Oriental art. The jar itself is made of ceramic and measures 7" wide and 6 1/4" tall. I purchased this lamp in 1988 at an Antique Store for $200.00 and it has appreciated in value since that time. It has been appraised at around $350.00. But I am selling for only $250.00! I had the lamp professionally re-wired and I had the brass base added to the lamp. I also constructed the lamp shade myself with a wire skeleton and I hand-glued the fabric. Fringe and gimp. This lamp base is something I picked up from a Estate Sale. The only thing I know about it. Is what research I've done& what markings are on the lamp, itself. On the plug it reads( Made in the USA Pat# 3408618) which tells me that at least the plug was made in the late 1960's) but could of been replaced along with the cord? For sale is a very pretty ceramic white lamp with a multicolor floral design and metal base with four feet. It is 19 1/2 to the top of the finial and 12 1/2 to the top of the socket. It has ornate handles and gold accents. The lamp is in good antique condition: No chips. Cracks, or repairs to the ceramic; however, the metal base does have a repair(a portion glued back together) and the lamp is a bit loose on the base. The lamp also needs a bit of cleaning. I do not know what type of metal the base is made from, but a magnet does not stick to it. The lamp has its original wiring and may need to be rewired for safety reasons. Finial has a scrape(see photo) and the hand of one cherub is either chipped or not defined(see photo- if it's chipped it is a smooth chip) but otherwise no chips or scratches that I can see. Antique Ceramic Floral Trophy TABLE LAMP Clear Glass Finial Blue Pink Brass Gold
This is a gorgeous antique table lamp. The harp and glass ball finial are included. The lamp is beautiful partly because of the many colors-robin's egg blue at the top and bottom with a light pink as the background for multicolored flowers in between. There is a string of gold beads down each side. And the base is a brass sort of metal(not sure exactly) It works as is, although looking at the cord I'd suggest you rewire it. No chips or other problems. Although there is considerable crazing agreeable to its age. With the current harp and finial. It stands a little over 24" high. Base to the bottom of the harp is about 13.5" The base itself is 4.75" square. We ship carefully and within 1 business day of payment. We prefer payment within 2 days. Beautiful Lamp in excellent condition. The switch has an F inside a circle which dates this circa 1910. The globe is a frosted satin glass with brass. Metal& Hand painted blue glazed ceramic base. Has chimney and lamp shade which is paper like shade with cording. Cut out details are beautiful-Some age stains. 19" to top of chimney. Glass globe is 6" Base is 5" square. Lamp shade is 14" wide x 8" WORKS GREAT! We always recommend that you check wiring to see if it may be necessary to rewire.
