The item you are purchasing: This light fixture is quite a beauty-had me taking multiple looks as I photographed it. The light reflects so well off the the candle wick detailing that runs from top to bottom. It is blue with beautiful-highly detailed clear glass. All components are in excellent condition and are from the mid century era. The shade and stem compliment each other nicely. The shade measures about 12 inches in diameter and is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. The metal components have been sanded and repainted a glossy white. The original Leviton porcelain socket has been rewired and accepts a 150 watt bulb. This amazing light fixture hangs 16 inches from the ceiling. The mounting hardware will be included. This came from a very old estate in Sheffield. Massachusetts. The owners were lighting fixture fanatics. This is 7" Tall with a 6" base. This could have been a lamp base. I say so because of it's weight and a hole on the side for a cord. it looks like someone tried to retro fit it for the wall or ceiling as two small holes in the narrow end are not evenly spaced. It looks as though they were using screws in the holes to hold a glass fixture in place so it could be hung. This is a lovely frosted antique light shade that fits over a ceiling light. It is supposed to be hung"inverted" thus. Most of the photos are what you would see if you were looking up at it. There are three holes in the top of the shade where chains would be inserted for hanging. I have seen them in front entrance doorways, bedrooms, etc in late early 1900s homes and they are usually hung close to the ceiling.again, with the wide(interior) part facing up. Very pretty and unique. I bought it at an estate sale for my ceiling light but because my light had been modified, it would not work. The piece is chain driven ceiling mount for antique oil ceiling lamp. Works great. Chain pulls down from inside ceiling mount and back inside when finished dropping lamp for cleaning or replacing oil. There are 2 different dates on the piece. Inside cast says Pat Oct 5, 1886& Aug 23, 1885 on other side of cast piece. Outside metal piece says Pat Aug 18,1885 and other side says Aug 18, 1886. Check out my other piece similar to this find. Size: Chain pulls out to 36" from casing. Mounting is 7" x 3.5" deep and 6" from hook to bottom of ornate casing. Weighs 3lbs 8oz. Condition: Original. Chain mechanism pulls down easily. ANTIQUE LAMP REFLECTOR SHADE ceiling fixture VICTORIAN PORCELAIN ENAMEL PARTS
Description This is a handsome antique lamp reflector. Shade, or crown with a white enamel or porcelain finish on the inside. The shade has a nice 3 D design stamped on it and it is enhanced with a gold and blue painted design in the original finish. The shade is metal, brass or tin perhaps. Shade measures 14 inches across at the bottom. The opening in the center is 7 inches in diameter and it is 4 inches tall. Over all condition very good with some discoloration, oxidation( to the gold finish. Unsure how to clean it properly so will leave that to buyer. Interior enamel is in excellent vintage condition.

PLEASE READ ALL THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY. This is a very old ceiling fixture and there is a lot to describe. This is a very old Kerosene Triple Angle Ceiling Lamp that was reportedly from an old Railroad Depot Station. I purchased it at an estate auction with the intention of using it in an old Victorian House that I was working on at the time. But life changed my direction as it sometimes does. So I no longer have the house and no need for the fixture. When I purchased this at an Estate Auction. I was told of its origin but have nothing in writing. It was electrified when I bought it. Measurements: If I measure from the center of the fixture to the outside edge of a globe.it is approximately 12"so the fixture is an approximate 24" circle. The height from the bottom of the lower finial to the upper hoop is approximately 19" ... moreAlso included is a modern ceiling ring with a plug installed(see image) and a hook so you can hang and plug in the lamp. If you want it lower you will have to add a chain and more than likely lengthen the cord depending on how low you want it. As an added note.I was going to reroute the cord through the center of the fixture and change the color of that cord to black so it would be less noticeable. As explained earlier the lamp was electrified before I bought it. I hung it temporarily from a cord and plugged it in and as you can see in the pictures it lights up. After closer examination of the sockets and wiring I would advise you go through the wiring carefully before installation as a couple of the sockets are loose and it never hurts to be safe. Electrifying these old gas fixtures can be challenging. But at least you have that part done and if needed lamp parts are plentiful at your local hardware store. Also, Light Bulbs are not included. I used clear bulbs for imaging but you may have a different idea. Imperfections. This is a very old fixture. It is not perfect. This gorgeous– very heavy– brass ceiling light fixture belonged to my parents. Single owner. Ceiling hugger style. The detail is exquisite[please see photos] 20 crystal prisms hang from the center and hook on the rim catching the light from within. Mirrored ceiling casts the light further still. This ceiling lamp shade came from an estate sale at an old country farm house. I do not know the age as I researched this item and could not find one exactly like it. It is quite heavy. Weighing a few ounces under 4 lbs. It measures 12" across and approx. 3.5" high. The design is beautiful with large clear bubbles around the outside center and clear bubbles along the edge. The main part is frosted with clear raised design of bubbles and raindrops. The inside frosted area is small raised dots which gives the outside appearance a unique look. Please note that there are some rough edges along the scalloped edges as well as rough edges along the hole where the hardware fits. There are also some minor chips along the scalloped edges but they do not show up unless looking very close. See all pics for a better description. The hardware ... moreis old and I am guessing the original ones that came with the shade. It is tarnished and can be left to look old or polished for brightness. I bought this for my house but gave up on getting the proper electrical ceiling fixture to accommodate it. This would be great for an old farmhouse or old home where these shades were used. Antique Victorian B&H Cranberry Hanging Oil Kero Library Parlor Ceiling Lamp
This is a fantastic antique hanging pull down library or parlor lamp complete with shade. Prisms, font, chimney(looks original) solid brass weight, smoke bell, chains, and flower shapes screws. The lamp has never been electrified. The cast iron piece that holds the font is marked B&H with the numbers 1 and 12. The only part that I know is a replacement is the brass ring that sits on top of the shade. It doesn't quite match the ring at the bottom of the shade and is a little larger than the lip on the top of the shade. But it still looks beautiful. I don't know if the other parts are original or replacement. But they really look fantastic together and the condition overall is very good. The shade has one tiny chip on the bottom rim, visible in the photo of the inside of the shade. There are no other cracks or chips. The frame is ... moremade of several types of metal including tin. Brass, and cast iron, making it a bit unusual. All of the metal pieces had a brass finish at one time, but it is worn off in many spots. Underneath the pulleys, I have the chains hooked together on each side so the lamp stays at the desired height and doesn't come down any lower. It might be necessary for the buyer to do that as well. Antique Metal Electric Hanging Ceiling Lamp
This is for a metal ceiling lamp. The ceiling lamp has very detailed designs and a cameo of a woman on the top part of each side of the lamp. The metal is in great condition except for a small shallow dime size dent on the top and some white paint dripped on it in a few places. The lamp does need to be rewired and the pull chains replaced as there are only three of the four there and they are not very long. The lamp measures about 18 1/2" tall and 20" wide. Project Artois Crejz Project Artois Crejz Antique/Vintage brass ceiling light or chandelier in an art deco/ art nouveau style. Polished and cleaned. The brass is lovely with a creamy finish. Lamp just needs to be rewired, the original wiring has been removed. The antique globes/frosted glass lampshades are beautifully hand-painted in the"reverse painting" style in yellow and burnt orange floral design. Resembling Sun Flowers, flowers are bas relief on the outside. The brass lamp centerpiece is 13-1/2" wide at its widest point, the chain to hang above favorite table or higher is currently 37" long but that can be shortened or lengthened by cutting the chain or getting a longer chain. This is authentic, you can tell by the switches on each light, it still has the original Bakelite GE switches. Each frosted glass globe measures ... more5" tall and and the larger opening is 4-1/4" wide, and the top opening is 2-1/8" the frosting of this glass is a coating of some kind and the texture of the glass is like a rippled ribbing the entire lenght. The globe adjusting screws are original, made of steel. There are some photos of the lamp lit, but even the photos doe not do it justice. Offered is an antique John Morgan& Sons Art Nouveau chandelier. Chandelier features a center shade with 3 satellite shades. Dates to right around 1908-1910. Bryant 1899 patent turn key sockets on main shade. Pebbly textured glass is reverse painted enamel with a simulated leaded design. The pebble texture gives the shades an attractive sparkly effect when lighted. Enamel is heat fired on the glass and will not flake. All brass construction except for the steel plated chains. These chandeliers are quite rare and it is even more rare to find one complete with original bells and without damage. Chandelier is not signed but they are documented by Paul Crist. Total drop is 43" Chains are 24" long and could be shortened considerably. Center shade is 15" diameter. Satellite shades are 5" high and 5 3/4" wide.
