We are very pleased to offer this Edward Miller& Co. Meriden, Conn. Oil or Kerosene Banquet Lamp. Font. This Font has never been electrified and has the original Burner and Shade Holder. It is Brass and. Again, has never been electrified. The Burner is marked on the top of the Flame Spreader with the Miller Logo. The oil filler cap is not marked. The Wick lifter does work and moves easily up and down. Please see the photos that show it in the up position and in the down position. The Font top is highly embossed and in one section is marked: THE MILLER LAMP. On the inside column that holds the flame spreader there are the following Patent Dates; PATD. I have lots of vintage lighting items listed and more added all the time. This is a great lamp with a beautiful satin glass shade and the shade has no chips or cracks it will have wear and some ring roughness that they all have. The outer shade does have the original brass ring at the top which the inner shade sticks up through. This like most of these has been electrified so you can safely use it today. Some people do convert these back to oil burning and you would have to replace a few pieces to do that but not that hard you can buy the burners and parts on ebay. This has normal wear you would expect but for being from the late 1800s is fantastic and has very cool claw feet on the base. The inner clear glass sahde may not be the original I really don't know it's just clear glass so who knows the outer shade is old you can easily ... moretell its age. As I mentioned above I bought the lamp on ebay and the shade has a hairline as shown on the pic it was probably repaired but you can feel it's really not that obvious and it has a missing piece on the bottom of the shade as shown other than that it is a very nice lamp with a great deal of patina. This lovely antique lamp has a flawless green onyx and brushed bronze base. This heavy victorian beauty has been converted to electric and is ready for display in your home. A breath taking piece. Here's a really nice antique GWTW or banquet lamp! This style is seldom seen as most GWTW lamp feature a round base section. This one has been electrified and has a night light in the hand painted milk glass base. There is a 3-way switch mounted on the very ornate cast iron base. The lamp stands 15" high to the brass rim. And about 20" high to the top of the electric socket. The lovely base measures 7 1/4" square. For restoration purposes. The brass font appears to be in good shape, free of holes and cracks. I don't think it would take much to restore this beauty back to kerosene. The wiring. Switch and sockets are in good working order. A beautiful old lamp in need of a good home!

Rare 1890's Gone with the Wind Banquet Lamp. This is a very hard to find shape of Jumbo Parlor Lamp with matching shade& base. It has the double duplex burner turners. This lamp has amazing metal work. The bottom"Bun" Feet are very store and decorative. The glass is all hand painted and finished with beautiful Leaves& stems with little trails of vines. The shade is a full size large piece. The bottom is a wonderful bulbous shape. The lamp stands 27" tall to the top of the chimney. The base is 17" tall on its own. The shade stands 11" tall and is 10" aprox in dia. There are not chips, cracks or repairs to the glass. Some normal flea bits on the edge of the shade, but not seen. We mention for accuracy, but the shade edge is remarkable as well as the rest of the lamp for its odd large size and age. The ... morelamp has been electrified. Long ago someone put a switch off to the side of the tank. We have left the lamp in"As Found" condition. It has not yet been restored. The cord is an old one. Antique Victorian Late 1800's converted oil lamp. I'am changing the theme to the room that this was in. And can no longer use it. I bought this about 20 yrs. ago from a shop that restored old lamp's, and light fixtures. By restoring this, it has been clear coated I believe, so it would never need polishing. The year's I have had this, I have never had to do anything, but wipe it with a soft cloth. My starting bid is much lower than what I paid. This was converted to electric. Brass tank that has raised work on it. Cherub blowing a horn, that is removable. Don't know if this was the original horn or not, but appears to be, pointed at one end so it fits up to the mouth. The only part of the lamp that a magnet would stick to was the base. The shade is not original. It has color's of pink. Yellow, blue and green. Glass ... morechimney is not original. Cherub's body is approx. 8 1/2" tall. Overall lamp without the shade is 18 1/2" tall. With the shade it is 28" tall.Base is 5 1/2" Brass tank has 5 dents in the brass, 4 are very tiny and one I show in one of my pics, that is larger. On the underside there is a dent, and on the raised part there is a dent.There are some scratches on the upper part of the tank, that show dark under, don't know why since a magnet would not stick to the tank, see pic's. This extraordinarily well painted lamp in the Sevres manner is unmarked and dates from the middle 1800s. Every freckle of the decoration is hand painted with no transfers and the genuine gold rococo-inspired borders are slightly raised. It measures 28” tall overall on its 6” square embossed brass base; 12” tall x 6” the original bronze mounted porcelain portion alone. The main portion dates from middle 1800s and formed the main portion of a banquet lamp with removable font. The cast metal has beautifully finished roses and open work with scant traces of original fire gilding and the porcelain is free of cracks and chips and undue wear to the gorgeous designs. Antique Cranberry/Ruby & Brass OIL LAMP Banquet/Parlor Electrified 1850-1899
This is a stunning lamp and pictures just don't do it justice but be sure to look at all of them as they are part of this description. This is an oil lamp that has been converted to electricity with the on/off switch on the cord. The center cranberry or ruby glass portion has 1" x 2" panels all around it and sits on top a brass shaft atop a really solid ceramic base. The original knobs on the brass burner both have a sailing ship etched in them. The shade is a frosted globe with a brass looking rim and measures 10" high and 9" in diameter. The shade is the widest part and it stands 29" tall to the top of the chimney. It is extremely heavy. We found this old lamp a while back in beyond shabby condition and in need of a remake. We had to save it. Had it cleaned up, painted an antique gold, rewired it with an on/off switch on the cord, and had new felt placed on the bottom. It is heavy, made of metal and weighs about 10 pounds. The globe did not come with it, and is not included in the Auction, only to show how well a globe shade would look on it. It has been Listed separately on Auction, and SOLD! Believe the lamp may have originally held a smaller globe or different type of shade as this one is a little large and doesn't need tightening of the screws to hold it in place, which makes us believe it should have a smaller one. Beautifully moulded font is decorated with 6 raised drops, between each is a delicate raised white enamel painted flower with gold gilt leaves. The base is black enamel glaze over metal on which sits a brass foot leading to a brass reeded column. Gorgeous etched glass shade and a flat sided clear glass chimney. Antique Victorian Gone With The Wind Parlor Banquet Hand Painted Roses Oil Lamp
Antique large oil gone with the wind lamp with hand painted wine roses. This lamp is 29 inches in height and top globe is 11 inches in diameter. The lamp has a pale yellow background with blue. Highlighted with sprays of roses and greenery and roses. The lamp has never been converted although someone thought about it at some point in time. There is a hole drilled in the decorative base just large enough for an on off switch. The oil tank is still un drilled in the lamp and still has it wick. The top lamp shade has a very small hairline crack at the base where it sits in the fitter end, see last picture in description. Very hard to spot unless you are looking for it. The lamp is 28 inches in height and the top ball shade is 10 inches in diameter. The lamp has deep teal blue at the bottom moving upward to pale yellow. The base of the lamp has deep wine and white roses painted on it. The top globe has beautiful wine pansies painted on it. The lamp has been wired for electric and unfortunately the original oil pot is missing. The replacement cost on ebay is around $100.00 if a buyer wants to convert back to oil. Up for bid a beautiful antique french blue opaline banquet oil lamp it measures around 21.5 to 22in to the top of the burner. It is 8in on the bottom base with embossed acanthus. The scenery depicts a man and a woman dancing and people gathering around them it looks like a countryside. We bought the lamp from ebay on a listing from Europe. Thank you for checking out my items. BEAUTIFUL 26" HIGH ANTIQUE BRASS BANQUET OIL LAMP w/ FROSTED GLOBE - ELECTRIFIED
Up for auction is this beautiful all brass banquet 26" high oil lamp that has been converted to electric. The 7" diameter brass bowl has a raised all-around floral casting on top of a rope-turned stem and 7 1/2" four legged scroll base. The removable font has been drilled to allow the electrical wiring to pass thru it and out the side of the bowl where there is also a hole drill. The electrical receptacle takes a 1" bulb insert. The wiring inside the font has been cut so additional wiring is needed to fully electrify the lamp and plug it into a wall outlet. The frosted 7 1/2" diameter glass globe is beautifully etched with crosses and stars completing the lamp. Weighs 4 lbs. before packaging. A nice find for the collector of antique banquet lamps or for the buyer who wants a beautifully detailed brass banquet lamp ... morewith equally beautiful etched globe to be the center of attention in his or her home or office.

The best way I can describe the prisms is they are like looking through a magnifying glass, so gorgeous. They are really beautiful all lit up. I have a candle tip bulb in these for picture taking purposes. Each lamp measures 14 inches tall.
