Base mount diameter is about 7 1/4" High relief majolica with frogs and fish. Turquoise ground. Thin gold bands. Majolica origin unknown. In the style of Gien. I am not seeing any marks on the exterior. It is possible that there are marks under the mounts. I don't feel comfortable taking it apart to find out. CONDITION: Has not been examined outside of mounts. Sells"as is" as a decorative lamp with no guarantee of origin. On the majolica. Wear is minimal. Expect a few very minor scratches- I found one so there may be a few more. There is one spot near the bottom of the majolica that feels a bit uneven to me, but still smooth to the touch. Stands about 23 3/4" tall to the top of the thread piece. The pottery(faience or similar) is about 6 3/4" in diameter. It is actually two pieces. The bottom half is set into the base mounts and the top of the sphere into the tops mounts. The cords comes out one of the holes in the center mount band. Antique Early Doulton Lambeth Table Lamp Aesthetic Movement
This piece is a Doulton Lambeth vase that was converted into a lamp some time ago with a wood base and metal top. The bottom of the vase is stamped with a mark which was in use from 1872-1877 by Doulton Lambeth. The green vase bears the influence of the Aesthetic Movement. There is a pin prick in glaze in the making. The bottom rim on the vase has a small repaired break and a chip. When the lamp is assembled. These are almost invisible. 36” Tall with Hoop. 7” Base Diameter. ZEESST.

Pretty Aesthetic Movement Milk Glass Acorn Footed Electrified Kerosene Lamp
A pretty piece with a white milk glass body and shade and an ornate metal acorn base. In nice shape with no chipping or cracking. The dimensions are as follows: Total height: 10 3/8" 8" chimney. 5 7/8" shade with 7" fitter. Along with a number of lamps and general vintage giftware I have an enormous quantity of silverplated silverware. Ranging in age from the 1800's to mid-century vintage and always combine shipping as cheaply as possible. An uncommon and elegant Aesthetic Movement nicely hand-painted porcelain lamp. With the original fancy brass JUNO oil lamp font and burner. Please view the many photos below the description text. The porcelain urn-form upright element is in classic blue-black Aesthetic colors. With very nice Style-correct Aesthetic hand-painted elements, the flowerheads. Etc. having some good, felt relief. Nice reticulated brass base with great Aestheticist legs/upper extensions. Fancy rococo high-relief-detailed'THE NEW JUNO' brass font/oil apparatus. Overall height. To the top of the socket, is 23.5" the porcelain urn element is approx. 12.5" high. I JUST rewired it. And used insulated/crimped butt-connectors for solid effect. 3-way switch. With selective main-lamp-only, internal base illumination only, or.BOTH! Presently, there is a small ... morered bulb in the base, and the effect can be seen in the photos. That bulb could be replaced with a white. Clear, blue, etc. bulb for different effects, as desired. VERY nice mood, or NIGHT LIGHT. Option there. The camera could not properly capture the true effect, but has some'wash out' Very ethereal and nice effect, in actuality. I'm not expert on these things. STUNNING !! Persian Aesthetic Movement Damascene-like Architectural FLOOR LAMP
An exceptionally-eye-catching floor lamp. With damascene/damascening type/look deeply-engraved gold-on-blackened/painted brass/bronze floor lamp, with pleasing architectural form. I haven't seen another like it. Please view the many photos below the description text! Firstly. It was difficult to capture the full effect, given that I didn't have sufficient lighting to illuminate the full height for a full shot, but.between the two full-height shots that give a sufficient idea of the overall look/form, and the many sub-section shots, you can get a good idea of the piece. It appears to be from sometime first-half of the last century. My best. Fairly-informed, guess, but not certain. It is fairly heavy. A quality piece and with simply stunning work having the look/effect of'damascene' or damascening, the ancient Syrian work involving ... moregold hammered into an iron piece. With florals and arabesques, or geometrics, the iron then blackened/oxidized to bring out the gold detail. I don't know by what process the extensive. And very-elegant, work on this piece was done, and it may just be hand-done, but.the effect is most striking. The detail is deeply etched. And in a gold treatment. The photos will tell'the rest of the story' The height. From bottom-of-base to top of the upper'plateau' is 42" and the'faux candle' above is 10" high. Obviously, the socket and harp extend further. Farily solid/heavy. I would guesstimate 25-30 lbs. But.if the actual weight matters to you, please request a weighing. You can select a shade of your liking. The'harp' is 10" And replacements of different heights are readily available, and easy to swap. Wiring appears sound. And should be fine. If you need a guarantee, though, please have your electrician check it out. Overall condition is very good. Just some visible paint/finish loss around the edge of the top/plateau, and the edge of the central plate at the joint of the upper and lower halves. Of course. A simple touch-up, but.des

Superb PERIOD Aesthetic Movement Electrified Oil LAMP HP Porcelain Brass Mounted
Rare opportunity for the fan of the American Aesthetic Movement and it's'Pursuit of Beauty' Please view all the photos below the description text. Aesthetic period oil lamp converted/electrified. Stunning piece of Aesthetic beauty. With quintessential Aesthetic elements in both the handpainted porcelain and brass mounts. I'll let the photos do most of the'talking' but.will note the superbly handpainted musical trophy and classical bust, with raised enamel-like beads in the surround, the scrolling foliate and gilt-swags, etc. Note that the blue ground has an intentional aged, or'dirty' effect which is quite-obviously intended, as it is UNDER the handpainted work. The reeded rings are free-hanging/movable. No apparent cracks or damage to the porcelain sections. No apparent cracks or damage to the brass base or ... moremounts. The only loss I note is some loss of the gilt painting around the female bust. And on the flowerhead elements. Minor, and we should all be permitted to have such minimal imperfections when over 100 years old. Just completely rewired with quality wire of a good length. I do not guarantee that there is some flaw(s) that I have missed but. Again, nothing is readily evident.and my eyesight is still keen enough. The stunning Fenton opaline white-blue ribbed shade is in nice condition. With no evident damage/issues. I'm assuming that this was originally an oil lamp. As remnants of the pertinent upper elements remain, but.not an expert on original oil lighting. I am willing to eliminate the shade from the sale. Should you wish to use another with the lamp base. An unusual antique. Circa 1880's, Aesthetic Movement brass pedestaled parlor lamp base, electrified. Unmarked. original burner has been modified, ans socket inserted. It is in working order with good cord and plug, switch on the cord. It measures 20" tall by 8" wide from foot to foot. Very good plus condition: original protective lacquer coating has worn off in places causing brass patina. The font shoulder has one large dent and a few shallow dents.
