For your consideration is this vintage brass or copper desk lamp. In original dark finish. The 1930's lamp features an articulating arm as well as a telescoping option. The lamp stands on a weighted 5" diameter base and has a 20" reach. The tube shade has a Leviton socket which accepts standard size bulbs(bulbs not included) The cord is old but still pliable, with no cuts and includes an old two prong plug. Up for bid is this antique desk lamp. This was found at an estate sale and I am not a collector nor am I versed in this subject so I am going to describe the item the best I can. The base is ornate. The neck of it adjusts. The switch says"Bryant" The"head" of it is loose from the neck. The cord seems VERY old with a lot of wear- so much that we are not risking plugging it in. On the plug. The end where the prongs are appears to be missing a cap perhaps as the inside is exposed. Other than the above. The base is weighted with a cast iron insert.And is very stable. The shade is rubina art glass shading from clear to cranberry. The lamp has been rewired at some point with age appropriate cord but still retains the original socket, and works well. Total height is 20 1/2" and the base is 6" in diameter. Antique Metal Adjustable Clip On Bed Headboard Desk Bench Lamp Light
This listing is for an antique metal. Adjustable clip-on lamp. I don't see a maker's mark. It measures about 7.25" high, and the shade is 4.25" front to back and 4" across the opening. The lamp has a twist switch. It has a clamp that screws down to tighten it the the headboard or table. There is a piece of felt in the clamp to protect the clamped surface. The wires in the shade are cloth covered, but the cord it not, so the lamp must have been re-wired at some time. The screw on the back of the shade is rusty, and the clamp screw has surface rust. We did test the lamp, and it does work. The clamp also works properly. Shipping is based on 4lbs, packed weight.

This is a transitional piece from the victorian into the arts and crafts movement periods. Lamp has not been polished recently. Working condition with Perkins switch and Leviton brass socket case. Silk lined cord in good working condition. Does not need to be rewired. Heavy metal disc base beyond the newer felt pad. No shade present. Weighs 7 pounds 6 ounces unboxed. Here is a very nice. Elegant Gooseneck Desk Lamp. The base, flexible neck and shade are made of metal. The switch is plastic I believe. The base is about 5 1/2" across. When standing straight up, the lamp is 17 inches from the base to the top of the shade at the front of the lamp. This is a heavy duty style lamp. Assembled Adjustable Industrial Antique Table Desk Lamp Steampunk Telephone
Unique light assembled from parts and pieces collected over the years. The main body seems to be some sort of brass telephone case. The fixture contains two sockets. The adjustable upper socket is outfitted with a parabola shade. The small socket on the arm is outfitted with a long slender reflective shade. These sockets are operated by a 3-Way rotary switch located on the back. The top light comes on first. The small tubular shaped light second, and the next turn of the switch illuminates both bulbs simultaneously. The crank on the side and the bells are only for aesthetics. The fixture contains a small run of NOS green cloth covered wire and a long twisted black cloth covered cord with a period appropriate plug end. The lamp has an excellent heavy gauge hunter green glass shades with a cased white inside made for the vintage bankers or piano style lamps. It's beautiful and extremely hard to find snail shape. Made of very heavy gauge glass, glossy and made to rotate inside the lamp extension arm holder. This lamp will take up to a 60 watt bulb and illuminates a room or desk with a warm inviting tone. I can't find any markings on the lamp or shade. I'm my opinion the shade seems older than the lamp? The shade seems to be very rare and hard to find. There are three very small and unnoticeable nicks in the shade. The way the shade is made these may have been part of the casting process.
