Vintage Antique Pair of Blanc de Chine Porcelain Mounted Lamps of Woman w 2 Dogs
This is a nice v intage an tique p air of b lanc de c h ine p orcelain m ounted l amps that depict a woman w ith 2 d ogs. In good working con dition as the pics show with some wear from age as s hown. The porcelain has some imperfections as s h own with the woman's hand no longer being attached to the dog. One of the finials is not original as shown and one of the shades is slightly di scolored. On e of the brass bot toms is damaged in what I believe was an attempt to see the underside to find a maker's mark but there is m ore metal under it. I'm not sure of the make but they remin d me of Nymphenburg porcelain but I cannot say fo r sure. Antique Vintage Oil Lamp And 2 Frosted Glass Shades
NO RESERVE AUCTION for antique green glass oil lamp and a pair of stunning shades. These are not matched item- the lamp likely had a regular glass oil lamp shade on it. The 2 shades are pink and powder-blue. With very minor chips to the color at the bottom edge of the pink one, and a spot of black'smudge' on the bottom of the blue one. Not sure what the black is(tar maybe) but have not attempted to clean it off in case I damaged the shade. They have matching beautiful raised patterns on the surface of a vine with berries and leaves. The lamp is about 11inch tall. The shades are approx. 6.5 inch diameter and 8.5 inch tall. The glass shades could be adapted and used on a modern light fitting. Enjoy!

The top layer is 10" long and inner is 6" long. It is made with amythest and clear English Old cut beads and amethyst tubes. It is in two layers with the lower inner circle hanging fron clear seed bead chain as shown. It has hematite sown seed beads around the scalloped top, with three sections at the top with bead hangers. I put it on the chain for the picture. The whole shade is only missing, one long strand with large clear bead at end and one of the regular long strands and two partial strands on the small inner circle. This is a Gorgeous Red or Wine Antique Brass Bouillotte Tole Lamp. In wonderful vintage condition! There are 2 Swan Candle Holders and 2 Sockets for Standard Bulbs. It works perfectly. and looks stunning on! The shade has spots of the paint missing. And a few very light scratches. The shade cross arm on the top has 2 more swan heads on either end holding the shade in place, these are a bit loose and may need some adjustment or tightening, they are rubbing when the shade moves and the shade moves because they are loose. The base is very heavy and has felt covering the bottom. It measures 25 1/2 inches tall and 13 1/4 inches across the bottom of the shade. AMAZING Antique/Vintage - One of a Kind - Queen Anne No.2 Oil Lamp Base
I might be the only one who sees the beauty in this old lamp. I guess time will tell. I stopped by an estate sale on it's 3rd day. There's usually not much left after the first 2 days but then again, I always find something that others don't see the value of it. In a dirt floor basement sitting on a shelf where they stored their canning goods, sat this old lamp. Hundreds of people probably picked it up or at least looked at it and saw the handmade wood base and decided not to buy it. Here's a perfect example of what you most likely would have found years ago at a farm house. A lamp that probably was dropped and broke off the pedastool on the bottom. Throw it away? They couldn't afford to do like we do today, trash it and go buy a new one, folks didn't have that kind of money when this old lamp was used. Instead, some ... morefarmer took a piece of wood, finished chipping off the glass until it would work for what he had in mind and he made a base so the lamp could still be used. If you buy this lamp, you will agree, that base wasn't done recently. It's been on that lamp for a long time. It must have taken a lot of his time to carefully make the base so the lamp would stay in. That's what I seen in the old lamp, a better example of what you might find on a farm than a brand new lamp that looked as if it had never been used. I imagine whoever done it was quiet proud of themselves for being able to make a base. Yes, it's a one of a kind and if you like your antiques with patina, you will love this modified lamp. RARE 1958 Antique Lane& Co Working Siamese 2 Two Cats Vintage Porcelain TV Lamp Gorgeous Lane& Co. porcelain antique TV lamp with two Siamese cats. This is a very RARE collector's piece! The lamp is in good working order. Though it has a couple of small chips on the large cat's ears. There is also crazing. Which you will find on any lamp from this era. The lamp measures approximately 12 1/2" x 12 1/2" x 6" Imprinted on the back are the words. Lane& Co. Van Nuys, Calif, USA. There is a circled c for copyright and no visable year. But I have seen the exact same lamp with 1958 imprinted on the back and I strongly believe this lamp is from that exact same period. It is very rare to find a piece this age that is in such good condition. Plugs into a standard household outlet. The cats have blue sparkly rhinestone ... moreeyes, which are in excellent condition.
