Rather hard for me to describe. Two young boys/ im ps/ putti are at the base holding the lamp upright. It sits on a white and gray marble base. The frosted glass has flowers painted on one side. Both lamps work but one will flicker if you bump it. I believe the contact to the bulb needs to be cleaned. These are an estate find. They are as old as the hills. I have tested these and they work but as you can see the original cords and plugs are not perfect. The glass is free of any chips. Cracks or breaks. The stems look like they are glass as well and are free of any condition issues. The cardboard insulators at the top are well used and it measures 14 1/2" to the top of them. The base is 4 3/8" dia. I went to a light shop and all the parts are available to replace and make like new, I just never got around to it and just respected their condition as they are very old. 2 Vintage Underwriter Laboratories Matching Rose and Gold Gilt Table Lamps
This set of two table lamps is very beautiful and each one is in excellent working condition. They are dark rose with gold gilt trim and courting couple appliques on the front and different ones of the same style on the other side. The base is made of brass and there is a green felt cover on the bottom of each lamp base to prevent scratches on furniture. They are very ornate and lovely for a Victorian style lover. Each lamp is 30 inches tall to the top of the lamp shade fixture and 7 inches at the widest point. The two handles on each lamp are heavily gilded with gold trim. There are no lamp shades. So you can select ones that fit your decor and complement the lamps. Each lamp weight 6 pounds and 9 ounces and will be shipped separately to reduce the risk of breakage. Make sure you're ok with this.It doesn't detract from the appearance of the globe. These are a matching pair of art glass lamp globes. Cranberry threaded lampshades with fluted tops.possibly made by Steuben. They are original antiques. I have the original receipt from 1978 when they were bought from an antique dealer for $101.00. They measure 4 1/4" tall and have a 2" bottom opening. Very minor chipping at very bottom of base. Not dirty, no odor.
