They are hand painted in brown on the unique design. The inside top of the shade is rough with what seem like chips but it is the craftsmansh i p of these old shades. For your consideration is this incredible antique Czech Glass Beaded Light/ Lamp shade. It is in incredible. As found condition. This large beaded shade measures 12" long total and 10" wide. The top layer is 10" long and inner is 6" long. It is made with amythest and clear English Old cut beads and amethyst tubes. It is in two layers with the lower inner circle hanging fron clear seed bead chain as shown. It has hematite sown seed beads around the scalloped top, with three sections at the top with bead hangers. I put it on the chain for the picture. The whole shade is only missing, one long strand with large clear bead at end and one of the regular long strands and two partial strands on the small inner circle. Some of the inner seed bead chains are missing beads, but holding securely. It has had a bit of work done on ... moreit in the past. This is a gorgeous vintage 20s cast iron lamp. I was sure that this lamp was Pairpoint but I can't find a mark on it. The lamp is heavy cast iron with a bronze finish. It has great art nouveau style. It has painted green, red and yellow highlights on the base. The lamp measures 23" tall and the base is 8-1/2" wide. The lamp is in excellent working condition. It has been rewired and it has a new top cap. On close inspection it shows normal patina and there may be a few vintage scuffs but nothing outstanding. This lamp comes from a smoke free and pet free home. It is clean and ready to use. If you would like to pay less for this nice lamp please see it listed at Etsy. This is for a matching pair of mantle or smaller table lamps. I believe they are all original with exception of cords. Measure 13 1/2" to top of bulb. 10 1/4" to top of socket. Really great condition. No damage to metal. Made of either metal or brass. Do see some brass coloring where paint has chipped. Cord is not original to lamp but was replaced many years ago. The light bulbs are VERY old but do still work. Both bases do have a switch hole in them but because of the pullchain on the socket perhaps they where made for either wiring.

The shade cross arm on the top has 2 more swan heads on either end holding the shade in place, these are a bit loose and may need some adjustment or tightening, they are rubbing when the shade moves and the shade moves because they are loose. The base is very heavy and has felt covering the bottom. It measures 25 1/2 inches tall and 13 1/4 inches across the bottom of the shade. Set of 2 Vintage Frosted Satin Glass Light Shades Globes w/Hand Painted Roses
A beautiful pair of lamp globes/shades. They stand 4" tall and measure 3" across the bottom from side to side. They have roses in three locations around each glass shade which is a frosted/satin style. I believe these are old as the glass has bubbles in it and there are even minute differences in the glass shade design so don't know if they were individually made. The one with bubbles has a little larger flare at bottom and the rose painting seems a tad smaller than the other one; the design at bottom edge is also a little different with deeper ridges on one than the other. In nice shape with no cracks. Did feel a flea bite and rough edge around the raised rim above the scalloped edge, but no one will know but you. Also there is some paint wear on the roses, but minor. The shades are in good condition with no chips or cracks but when I turn the light on I see tiny pin holes in places where it looks like color is gone. These are so tiny that they can be repaired easily with tiny dots of paint. You do not see these when the lights are off. This Floor Lamp is the perfect size next to the sofa as it is not so tall that you cannot use it to read or see things. Size is 58 inches tall and 17 inches wide. Shade fitters are 7 inches wide each. The Brass is in excellent condition. This lamp is a beautiful and a very collectible Floor Lamp.
