Art Deco GREEN DEPRESSION URANIUM GLASS ELECTRIC LAMP~Circa 1930s~WORKS!
This item is a Depression Era Green Uranium Vaseline and Jadeite Boudoir Table lamp that works. The Lamp Measures 8" The Base is 4 1/2" wide and has eight 1/2" legs. The Base glows under a black light and is Uranium/Vaseline Glass. The Lamps body is ball shaped with vertical lines in green frosted glass resembling Jeannette Glass Pattern Adam. I can only find one mold line. It has a slight chip where the ring is at the bottom which you have to look hard to find. It does work! The cord is 78" long. The base is approximately 7" From top to bottom the lamp is approximately 22" and the cord is approximately 6 feet in length. The weight of the lamp without a shade is approximately 4.4 lbs. There is no lamp shade included. There appears to be a manuafacturers name at base, but I can't make it out. Turns on excellently by button switch. Item is in good condition overall, with only minor wear to brass(see pictures) but the cord is badly frayed. May need to be shored up with electrical tape or replaced. Date: Around 1930 +/ Materials: This outstanding table lamp is made out of chrome-plated metal and equipped with a thick-walled lampshade. Made out of opalescent glass. The lampshade is all around adorned with icicles- to achieve a bigger contrast the icicles are clear polished while the rest of the lampshade shows a frosted surface. The metal parts are all hold in a strict geometrical design like it is typical for the french Art deco design. Measurements: The total height of the table lamp is 18.1" 46 cm) The lamp stand has a diameter of 6.3" 16 cm) The lampshade only has a height of 3.9" 10 cm) and a max. diameter of 7.1" 18 cm) Condition: The entire table lamp is in excellent. 1930S ANTIQ INDUSTRIAL STEAMPUNK FACTORY-OFFICE DESK LAMP -ART DECO GLASS SHADES
1930S-1940S ANTIQUE INDUSTRIAL STEAMPUNK FACTORY-OFFICE DESK LAMP WITH DOUBLE-ARMS& NOTE-PAD PLATFORM& ANTIQUE GLASS ART DECO DESIGNED SHADES. This lamp is circa 1930s1940s and has a thick square plug-see pic provided. the double-arm frame is nice with Industrial Machine-age Steampunk sockets marked"Leviton" and sockets holders with circles in them-the socket metal holders have the three original screws in each which are used to hold the shades in place(see close-up pics provided) This is a sort of factory office desk lamp as it has a platform for notepad. Pen, and paper-etc. to be placed on(see pics) with original green felt on it-the felt could be replaced by buyer to freshen up the platform/lamp with a nice navy blue felt pad-it would look lovely-I have left it as it is in original undisturbed condition for the integrity ... moreof the piece so you see that the felt is worn and aged and dusty but is very easy to place a new piece of felt of your choosing(see pics of this feature) The switch to the lamp is located on the front of the platform/base-it is slightly askew and turns on and off well, I have not tried to straighten it. The double-curved-arms and the sockets/holders have some tarnishing/wear/and oxidation to the surfaces and to the finish-the socket holders have some rusting-please see pics-some parts are metal and some parts may be brass-the rod and/or arms may be brass or metal I am unsure-please view pics. Lamp works well and takes standard bulbs or candelabra bulbs like the ones which I used in the lamp in pics-see pics. The 2 glass shades have lovely art deco designs(see pics) Each one measures approx. 4.5" tall x 4" wide-the glass shades have no cracks or stains but have some chips on the top rims(please see pic provided and realize these chips) which are the rims that fits under the metal holders-the chips are not seen as the rims fit into and under the metal holders-please view pics to understand description. The base was re-brassed in the late 1970's. It is still in good condition for being over 40 years since it was re-brassed. It has original felt on the bottom. The original shade was replaced by a reproduction of the shade also in the early 1970's. I don't know but the cord is in really good vintage condition but I didn't replace it. It works very well. You're bidding on a very nice 1930s vintage stick lamp- it has a sticker remnant on the bottom identifying it as a product of the Mantle Lamp Company. This company developed into the Aladdin Company. Which produced a wide variety of consumer products, most famously lunch boxes, but it all grew from their original business of lamp production. This lamp is a great example of one of their trademarks, the use of Alacite, a sort of slightly opalescent ivory-white glass. Danish Art Deco brass table lamp Elegant Scandinavian modern design 1930s
Vintage brass table lamp in patinated brass. Probably from the thirties. Fluted gear-like elements give this a slightly industrial look. Great as a desk lamp or on a side table. This came from Denmark. To the U.S. so I assume it was designed and made in Denmark. Could be Swedish as it is also characteristic of Swedish design of the 1930s. Measures 12 inches to top of base. This has not been rewired for American electrical outlets. If you plan to use it in the U.S.A. you will need to have it rewired. I can also have this done for you. Please inquire. Needs a lampshade too, of course.

Originally it was assumed that the column was decorated porcelain. When the lamp was disassembled for rewiring it was confirmed that the center section is milk glass. The piece is in excellent condition with typical signs of age. Especially to the brass. The are no chips or cracks in the glass column. There are some nicks and scratches on the black lacquer base section. Antique Art Deco Table Lamp Signed Hubley 1930s 3 Way Adjustable Height Heavy
Up for bid is this original antique lamp. It is stamped HUBLEY on the inside. I think it is bronze plated. Although parts of it may be brass. I am not positive of the metal content. However, Hubley made cast metal toys and lamps. This lamp was purchased years ago, with the intent to rewire it. We just never got around to it, and now I am thinning out some. All parts seem to be original to the lamp. Original rod that slides up and down for height adjustment. Set screw seems original. Original candle cardboard drip socket covers. They have a little wear on them, as expected. Not bad, most of the time they are missing. Look at pictures. Switch on the top base seems original and still turns. I would imagine this is a three way lamp. It is a table lamp. Once it is rewired and has a new shade it will display beautifully. This lamp is consistent ... morewith the 1930 Art Deco period style. It is heavy. Lamp stands 22 inches to the set screw without the finial. With the rod extended to its capacity; the height to the top of the finial is at 31 inches. It is a tall lamp. Base is 5 3/4 across the diameter. Sockets are spaced 7 inches apart to center. Set screw stays tightly in place. Original patina, I never attempted to clean it. No rust or gouges. Its really nice. All my items are given extreme care when shipped. I do my absolute best to describe items, and strive for a 5 star rating. It is beautiful now, but once its rewired and has a new shade, it will be an investment piece. This is a newer account, but I am not new to selling on Ebay.
