This is a used set of 14 inch die cast snare drum hoops. It's a matching set for a snare drum with holes on the bottom hoop for wires. These hoops have some pitting that I have tried to show in the pictures. There is not chipping or flaking. And these are true and not bent. They are 100% functional but those little specs are pitting which is pretty standard on hoops and hardware. This is a late 70's 14 inch Slingerland 5 ply drum shell. This drum came to me with a really bad white plastic wrap that was falling off so I planned on re-wrapping it myself and then just got wrapped up in to many other projects. Needs a little more glue removal at the seam before re-wrap. The shell is in good shape with good edges and no extra holes! Feel free to ask questions. Listed here is a Voigtlander Petzval 14 inch(355.6mm) brass camera lens(s/n 20246) with wooden lens board. I measured the back focus to find this focal length. This lens dates to 1875-1876 and is in wonderful condition for its age. As you can see. The bass has a nice patina to it that I would not attempt to shine up or alter. The lens elements are in excellent condition, glass is clear with no fungus. I noticed a couple of air bubbles in the lens elements that are expected of lenses such as this one as the process for making such instruments in those days was not an exact science. The length of the lens from the front of the lens barrel to the rear element is approx 11.75 inches. The front element measures 4 1/8 inches across and the rear 4 1/4 inches. The lens reads"No. 20246 Voigtlander& Sohn. Wien, Braunschweig" I wanted ... moreto mention there is a split in the lens board as you can probably see from some of the photos. Ludwig has long been the premium drum brand name. A new head or two and a couple of screws and should be good as new. I could disassemble them for shipment or you can PICKUP FOR FREE. I bought these at an auction and I'm a lay person so I know nothing about these drums. At least one head needs to be replace.but looked like a cheep fix. Saw some for $25-$50. Beautiful 1960s Ludwig Club Date 14 Inch Floor Tom in Gold Sparkle, Exceptional!
Up for bid is a classic Keystone badge Ludwig Club Date 14 inch floor tom from the 1960s. Finish is original gold sparkle. Fantastic condition! All components including baseball bat muffler. Lugs, tension rods and mounting port are in excellent condition. Original white factory painted interior with reinforcement rings in excellent condition. Bearing edges are original and excellent and the drum is in round. The drum even has its original Ludwig WeatherMaster top head. As seen in photos. The drum is missing the six bottom tension rods. No other pieces missing on this fine drum- just the six tension rods which are easy and cheap to replace. The bottom hoop and head are included with the drum. Finish of the drum is excellent. No fading or seam lift, very rich sparkle with lots of gloss and luster. The drum looks fantastic in natural lighting ... moreand under stage lights. Chrome hardware is also excellent and very clean with no pitting or rust. The drums's original bass ball bat muffler is super clean and works well. I have here a 14 inch Zildjian K Custom Dark Hi Hat Top and a 14 inch ZXT bottom. This pair of hi hats is in great condition- NO keyholing. No dents, and NO fleabites. The Cymbals though may need some cleaning please take a look at the pictures- i left it uncleaned to preserve the logos and Zildjian markings. The ZXT though may show some discoloration around the bell area but overall is in shiny, like NEW condition. It is an early lamp base with three arms that will hold a 14 inch diameter favrile glass shade or a leaded glass shade. It stands on three legs with nodular style feet. It has a very nice decorative band around the base. The base is 7 3/4 inches at it`s widest and is 10 1/2 in height. Originally a oil base. But had been converted to electric at sometime years ago. It has an old early socket and bryant swtich that work perfectly. It has also been rewired with a cloth cord. The base is in very good to excellent condition. There is one tiny dent on the oil can which is shown in photo 11. The base has a wonderful early dark brown patina finish with hints of green verdigris.
